MoonKnight came up without expectations and gave a blast with it's story-telling and BGS is the core reason for taking audience into storyline. Absolutely loved Ms Marvel, totally willing to overlook the “cartoon skeletons” battle because there was so much that was done so right. The family wholesomeness, the graphic visuals, the social media usage. I really hope all that doesn’t get set aside in “The Marvels”.

Damn, that was quite the recap ! I teared up several times while you talked about the family arc. I almost forgot just how great the family part (from each generation) was just so well done and emotional. Ms. Marvel might have had a flawed plot with forgettable villains, but god I loved this show ! It's easily one of the top 4 in the MCU D+ shows for me, with Wandavision and Loki as top tier, and Moon Knight and Ms.Marvel right behind.

By the way, in case you were thinking the bangle is Kamala's source of power, like a super suit or weapon, Kamala can use her powers - her mutation - without the bangle, and it was just a trigger and amplifier. That's MCU canon as well, confirmed by Iman in an interview. While it's not the source of her powers, which she inherited through a genetic mutation and link to the Noor dimension, the Kree bangle triggered her dormant mutation's powers.
the big problem is, she has witnessed absolute proof that earth's religions are total BS, so why would she continue to claim to follow one of them? The idea of any of these "heroes" subscribing to a religion of any sort is ridiculous....they've MET Thor and KNOW he's just a more powerful dude than humans, but not a god.....
I think it and she-hulk were both fun. While they both fell apart narratively by the end. Marvel fans need to remember that not all content is for all of us. It’s a giant company with a diverse audience. Can’t wait to see The Marvels. Even though the MCU is falling apart haha

I loved this show so much. It was like 99% great. That big fight at the end with the Djinn was the worst thing ever, but the rest of the show was such a delight.

Great job! I love the family and fun of her as a super fan with capabilities ❤. It took me 3 episodes to get into it but once I did I really liked it, I can overlook some of the rough things for the good that was especially knowing things going on behind the scenes.
I just watched this series as she was the best character in the Marvels movie. It sort of reminded me of spider-man, in a good way. Younger hero protagonist who is an outcast, interesting family dynamics. The young hero learns the responsibility that comes with their gifts.
It was a fun show that has a strong first 3 episodes and I liked the finale but episodes 4 and 5 were weak. Also guess we can expect a video like this on Captain Marvel.

I rewatched it yesterday and the first time I watched it, last summer it was hard to follow but rewatching I just love that marvel is giving representation to the Muslim community and has an accurate portrayal of the culture
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. The opening scenes and throughout that have the little doodles and the way her imagination works completely reminded me when I was a kid about drawing superheroes and playing superheroes. Such a great use of editing here.
Shout out to Dr Who episode that focused on the partition too. As a Brit with plenty of Indian culture around me I only found out about this part of history through Sci fi shows.
The first half of this series was pretty good. The second half was still better than all of Secret Invasion - sorry more believable than all of Secret Invasion.
I loved Ms. Marvel! My criticisms of the show are the same as all the other ones - the ending was messy, too much focus on a big battle, and there were pacing issues (probably because Marvel didn’t hire show runners or think they needed to actually *learn* how to make TV shows until literally right now). But the performances were great, it showed so much diversity among its Muslim characters AND the rest of the cast, SFX aside I liked the production design, it covered intergenerational trauma beautifully (makes me cry every time I watch the partition episode), and I like how it drew from other Marvel properties (Tom Holland Spiderman) and John Hughes teen movies. Other than racism and clown-ass online troll sexism I really don’t get why people didn’t like it. Easily top 3 MCU shows for me, with WandaVision and Loki.
If they can make Ms. Marvel the star of The Marvels, maybe the MCU in this realm has a chance. She's fun. Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau are not. U.S. Air Force women are more fun than they are combined. As long as Ms. Marvel doesn't join the MCU gov't military, she might survive the M-She-U.
I liked the little stylized graphical flourishes in this show. While I found only 3-4 episodes were quite good, the show was wholesome and Iman Vellani was great. I gotta' say, they took a big swing on the Partition episode at the train, and they didn't sugarcoat it - good job there. Of course this show faced massive adversity by 1) Featuring a Muslim brown-skinned heroine and family (gasp!), and 2) A woman lead. All the bigots and incels had a field day with this (screw them). We got to see the ugly corners of comics fandom when these trolls exited their caves. I don't get hung up on superficial horseshit like those idiots. The show had some heart and fun, and as a hero origin story it worked for me.
Ms.Marvel has so far been my favorite D+ Marvel show. It’s such a beautiful show in so many ways. It has its moments that aren’t great but overall it’s great.
I will honestly never understand why the internet is so adamant on hating this show. If you (not you specifically, viewer, just the general public) don’t like it, just move on and watch stuff you really like. It’s not hard.

I don't get hung up on superficial horseshit like those idiots. The show had some heart and fun, and as a hero origin story it worked for me.
Honestly Ms.Marvel is an underrated show like if you agree.

Ms.Marvel has so far been my favorite D+ Marvel show. It’s such a beautiful show in so many ways. It has its moments that aren’t great but overall it’s great.
I will honestly never understand why the internet is so adamant on hating this show.
If you (not you specifically, viewer, just the general public) don’t like it, just move on and watch stuff you really like. It’s not hard.
