Radithor was a medicine back then and it was water and radium mixed together and it took away any pain you felt and it made you feel stronger and energetic. argella1300 Except Irradicator has the decency to outright kill you instead of having it ruin your lungs, embed in your skin, and cause genetic defects for generations. (I have family that has been severely hurt by Agent Orange, but they can’t get help considering the US went into forbidden and undocumented zones.)

You know, it occurs to me that nun of the money rewards people offer you are really worth a dam. Even when you press them for as high as they'll go it's still not that much.
I have to say, the practices of this company aren't really that unusual by Fallout standards. It seems a lot of reserch was really shady. Like what happened at the armor R&D lab, the Vault Teck Overseer from Vault 88... and most of the others. I would also cite the institute as evidence of this, as there practices are an extension of the ones that were in place before the "war".
Vault Teck did way more than Hallucigen as they had far more reach. Sheer volume makes them worse.

China, Russia, the US and the EU nuked each other. Places like South America, Australia, and Africa may not have been hit by nukes, but the people would likely have rather had that fate. Everywhere not hit had to deal with the environmental effects, and would have died slowly.
Admittedly, those places probably started recovering quicker. Be interesting in some future Fallout game to run across scouts from other nations that marginally survived the war, exploring the main combatants to see how they're recovering. And possibly to make sure they don't rise as powers again.

The institute would of sent early gen synths like they have in other locations. My guess would be the Enclave. They would know about the old government contracts, and have suffered devastating losses recently. Sending mercs to collect old military contracts to beef back up their arsenal seems right up their alley.

You can't get big if you just play games, you know? Because that style is so oversaturated, people won't care to look at a small channel when they have a larger one who does the same exact thing.

I don't agree. I test out several channels when I'm looking for a good Letsplay and choose the one I like best regardless its size.
Also I often like games that are not necessarily played by many as e.g. Mirrors Edge 1/2 and stuff like that.
There are many good ones but Oxhorn is really in a class of his own (did I get that phrase right? I'm not a native speaker.)!

I'm not ox, but, you either need to download all the mods via Bethesda.net or Nexus, when you try to combinate them the game crashes on start up, as far as i know

Theory: Hallucigens agent found at their HQ is actually a synthesized Ultracite. Reason I say this is bc at the Deep in Fallout 76 where the facility is above an Ultracite crater underground and in the building on the top floor is Hallucigens gas canisters
Thank God you do these lore vids or whatever... When I played these games I played them extensively through many playthroughs and there definitely are things I missed for sure... And the following playthroughs... Bla bla bla terminals bla words, ooh! Guns! These videos you put together really piece together the things I forgot or skimmed over and it really brings to light the full story!

Total enjoyment in the original fallouts... One and two to be specific I played them before the first one once, the second one twice but watching you do things as 'correct' as you can made me want to do the same and I found awesome enjoyment in fallout 1 unlike I had before... Ironically I got through Mariposa twice but I want to say Tycho died right before the exit after setting it to self destruct and I had totally looted everything and dispensed everything accordingly across Kat ja, Ian and Tycho and I kept pumping dogmeat full of stims and as I said Tycho died then realised dang I don't really need any of that stuff so I retried it when I got the motivation to do so and again just rushed through this time got the logs off main PC and activated silent self destruct and was making a flawless ghost escape and I forgotten to pump dogmeat full of stims and dang it it was like 1 floor to exit I think and and dogmeat wonders into red Lazer barrier right out of elevator and turns to dust... Like as you said that's the technical conical ending piece but even when I tried to cheese that 'conical' ending, that happens! I was totally like Fuuuuuu*** and loaded previous save from before boneyard and went and did the church and met the master and convinced Hime mutants were/are sterile and up until that point I had never noticed that part of level 3 to go find the master I think it was because elevator opens immediately fired upon and a quick overview reveals a bunch of robots and like 5 super mutants and elevator next to muties so that's where I went after that ensuing fight and I armed warhead and escaped and realized at Mariposa when Tycho died the Richard grey was moved to the place I already detonated... And the end slide says how I detonated the church without speaking to the master and I think it said that's ok... So after second attempt at Mari I loaded prev got bunch progress and almost don't want to see ending for me feeling I did bad on things I *may* of forgot I can feel another spree to play those text to coming SooN

Ooh, I can see how Paul cooked the books! It's kind of clever. See, in the first draft, he was talking about profit and loss. In the second, he's only talking about their income without mentioning their expenses. So if they had 1.1B in revenue and a 1.8B loss, then that implies they had 2.9B in expenses.
The vault 88 quest brought me to hallucigen and I capped every one there.
When I first went to Hallucigen I thought I saw Deacon dead at the front door. The gunners I had spawned at the front were bald with sunglasses like Deacon.

i like the idea that the one who sent the gunners were the enclave. they were the government. if anyone where to know hallucigen, it would be the former government. and with the next gen patch its been made clear the enclave are in Massachusetts

wait a second, is it possible to use hullicigen grenades on the raider bosses in nuka world without turning the whole gangs enemies with you and still being able to complete the open season quest? (dispite them being important npc's, they arnt part of vanilla, so maybe it would work?)
I wonder if you could potentially throw one of those nades at high confessor tektus in Far Harbor and kill him without going down the replacement quest line and without the CoA getting mad at you
With that press release, instead of saying we are down 1.3 Billion he stated they still made 1.1 Billion. Presumably this would mean they projected that quarter to be 2.4 Billion and budgeted as such

And also other people, like farmers who we can save from agressive creatures, or someone, who asks us for water, i encountered such npc, sitting on a bridge.

the gunners are more than just raiders because when you look at there reasoning they are just a group of people who usually just look out for them selves but offer there services as mercenaries and a lot of the bad things they do are just paid jobs or they were hired or ordered by there superiors to protect an area
considering the lone survivors damn near immunity to the hallucigen gas, it makes me think he was probably part of a military experiment. sure it can go down as for gameplay, but the few, and i mean few, times his past is brought up he is not just dismissive but a bit hostile with how he changes the subject. it could be again part of gameplay but as someone who uses the mjolnir mk v(b) armor and loves the spartan lore, as well as the rp of my character being a Fallout version of spartan (the mjolnir armor being power armor on a condensed scale, augmented strength agility perception and intellect inherient resistence to radiation etc. starting stats at 10 Strength 10 perception 10 endurance 7 agility 3 charisma 8 intelligence 2 luck, yes i cheat his stats.) thinking we could of been a slight super solider is really cool. the sole survivor is by far the most dangerous individual in the common wealth and potentially out of any protagonist of fallout so far just on the fact that he has training, and live combat experience prior to being in the post apocalyptic landscape that is fallout. and there is a difference from a fool with a gun to someone who knows what they are doing.
but back on the hallucigen gas it is odd how we have almost no reaction to anything minus the kill you gas.

RE: Accounting Draft1 vs Draft2 - It's perfectly reasonable to have $1.8b net loss AND $1.1b in revenue (not profit).
Revenue is just how much money comes into the organisation, we can deduce that Hallucigen took in $1.1b but spent $2.9b which means they made a huge net loss (of $1.8b).
The accountant isn't lying in Draft 2, he's just only giving half of the information, this still happens today in press releases, often if there's a startup who only talk about their revenue, it's usually because their bottom line sucks and they don't want to discuss their net profit/loss.

The losses/revenue thing isn't really a lie, or magical accounting. They're saying they made 1.1 billion, but spent nearly three in total.
