Try the MFJ 993B, you have a good radio and will have a good tuner too. I use this combination and works realy good with a Comet mobile antenna on my apartment porch.
Thanks Tom. I use an MFJ-998 with my other radio. It’s a great tuner. With my current antenna, the Yaesu’s internal tuner is working just fine. I guess if I wanted to use the FTDX10 with my amp I would consider the extra cabling.
What interface cable did you use with the FTDX-10? I have the same rig and a LDG Z-11PRO II tuner. I don't know what cable to use to connect them together,
I don't use an interface cable. I can't find one that works. I switch the mode to AM and hit the MOX button. The AM carrier has enough power for the tuner to work and is low enough not to harm the tuner. Don't forget to switch it back :)

Yep. It's the tuner.
I would like a FTDX10 or a 7300. I can dream.
Both are good rigs.
Who makes the side rails in that radio
@@MrStropparo Portable Zero.
