@caerleon87 They'll take 11hp from a non-genuine Kubota engine at 3000rpm and jump their tracks before they break anything if they are set up right. I doubt there was any damage. It likely jumped out of gear which was their habit when the pall spring on the F/R lever weakened or got grubby. The engine rpm was barely out of slip so not loaded much. I observe that most restoration owners are running the engine a little slow which may cause premature wear of the centrifugal clutch shoes.
@caerleon87 If it was not a jump out of gear, then the motor might have stopped which releases the centrifugal clutch and the machine is free to roll. These machines have to be parked across a slope or chocked, otherwise they will run away after the engine is stopped and the driver climbs off. One and a quarter tons of runaway MG6 with a rotary hoe on the back makes a fair hole in light forest as mine did before I got it.
DARANGULAFILM seriously 1 and a quarter tones wow there heavier than I thought I'm in the process of getting an mg2 I honestly wouldn't have thought they were that
@caerleon87 these old machines were built to withstand a beating such as this not like the crap they build today. Why don't you go and criticise those people who do this sorta stuff with old tractors and rideon mowers as while your at it. Plus how can burst a flywheel? The worst the flywheel could do is slip off, I've seen it happen with old stationary engines.

That roller was way cool! What kind was it?
The Ransomes are quite tough little machines but I prefer the Bristol 10...it would pull the roller into next field!
are these diesel or steam?. im guessing Diesel
its a shame you didnt video it before i broke it lol
