Sheriff's Sale of Restaurant Fixtures Out of Miranda's Restaurant - June 15, 2024

Madison County VA Sheriff Erik J. Weaver offered the contents of the former Miranda's Restaurant (Downtown Madison) in a Sheriff's Sale Saturday morning. Auctioneer Peter Elliott auctioned the contents with a winning bid of $5,600 to Culpeper resident Richard Dwyer. Dwyer said he hopes to return his purchases to the restaurant, located at the intersection of N. Main Street and Schoolhouse Road if he's successful in closing the deal to purchase the restaurant building and the adjacent former historic Hunton Hotel buidling located south of the restaurant.
