This was a small snapshot of some of the public comments made at the Orange County Planning Commission's meeting on Thursday, June 20m 2024. Sunfish Solar made their final presentation to the commission for their solar facility SUP. The majority of the speakers on Thursday night begged the planning commission to recommend denial of the SUP to the board of supervisors - which they ultimately did.

Judge Zane Redifer grew up on a Blacksburg goat and sheep farm before heading off to college. He was a member of the Butler Community College's (Kansas) 2023 national champion team at Cattleman's Congress and now attends Kansas State University where he's a member of K-State's livestock judging team.
