I'm a father of two and don't have much time to game. I work 12 hour swing shifts including weekends and nights. On slower nights I can take this and play all night long. It's been a game changer for me on night shift. I used to just watch movies on my phone. Now I have that big screen for movies and games. It's great!
The Legion Go really surprised me. I bought one on a whim, open box deal at BB. I fully intended on returning it, expecting to hate it. On paper, it looks bulky, uncomfortable, the controls seem weirdly designed, and windows on handhelds wasn't appealing to me. But somehow, it won me over and is my absolute FAVOURITE handheld out of any of the ones I have. Does it have issues? Yes, definitely. But the huge, vibrant screen, is so incredibly immersive, and the flexibility of being able to use it as a tablet, and have all the simplicity of being able to use windows actually is a huge difference to other handhelds out there. Having windows on a 7inch screen really doesn't work because of readability for me, but the Legion Go, I don't feel like I'm making any compromises. I don't recommend it at full price, but I do recommend people hunt for deals on this and try it out, it may surprise you.
As a truck driver these handhelds have made gaming so much easier. Used to have my switch for on the go but now I can hotspot on the road and play wow and stuff I like
I've had the steam deck for a while and sold it then got an ally and sold that as well. I was beginning to think that we might be too far from good console/pc gaming on the go. Until I got this thing. I'm in love with it. The massive screen and great resolution + the performance shocked me. Not to mention that you can easily get the steam deck's OS look and functionality so it quite literally has no negatives. Bravo Lenovo 👏
Really appreciate the deep dive into integer scaling. It's one of the most overlooked features on the Go, IMO. Huge performance uplift without the blurring that typically comes with dropping your resolution down.
Great "re-review". I've been using the Legion GO since day1 (swapped my og steam deck for it) and i still love it so much. Daily use, so much power and freedom, can't wait for the Legion GO 2.
If you remove the controllers, you’ve got a really snappy mini tablet PC. so it really surprises that no one has made a keyboard trackpad case for this so you can use it as a mini laptop.
I just want to say thank you for the tip on the audio, the difference between the out of the box audio experience and now using your EQ is night and day!
Despite the lack of updated drivers, I've always had a good experience with Lenovo support. Considering the recent expose by Gamers Nexus around ASUS' crazy customer service, I'd weigh that heavily comparing the ROG and Legion Go.
@@marksapollo Not always. As an IT guy at an university where we use lots of Lenovo hardware and from personal use I can tell, Lenovo has it's own problems. Good luck getting you stuff replaced or repaired out of guarantee even though it seems to be faulty by design (lots of people with similar issues). Lenovo devices look nice but have their out-of-box issues like the keys on my wife's Yoga 2-in-1 triggering the touch screen causing random mouse movements when used closed with a dock and external mouse. Also has some random and odd other issues. The Thinkpad X1 Carbon I got at work has battery issues, odd issues where it freezes randomly for a few seconds and the keyboard is also touching the screen, causing it to get dirty from natural skin oil and I have quite dry hands. Lenovo doesn't design such devices with a big enough gap between screen and keyboard. At this point I would rather get the SD (if I wouldn't own one already) than the Legion Go, but I also don't have any experiences with Valves customer support.
i broke mine, motherboard suddenly failed. tweeted the problem at them at night, in the morning a local rep contacted me took the device and by tomorrow the device was returned. I do appreciate a company who takes after sales w more effort. now i use their PCs and laptop
Received a steam deck oled this week. Great device but it made me fall in love with my legion go all over again. Just can’t beat that screen. Returning my SD Oled and bought a pair of the grips you shared on Etsy. I know it’s an expensive device for this, but at 1600p 144hz I find it to be the ultimate streaming device for my desktop. I rarely play games native on it but use that screen to its fullest with max settings through moonlight.
I know my reply is dated, but this screen is the same as in the Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet. Same size, same specs. Difference is it has powerful ARM chip, not PC. So it's Android. But it is twice as cheap and twice as light. You can add telescopic controller and stream in way better setup than Legion Go can
I think the Legion Go is the best hand held out there. I know the ROG ally x has better specs. But i have to give it to Lenovo for thinking outside the box. The detachable joysticks, fps mode, big beautiful screen. 144hz refresh. It's plain awesome. For the next GO I would like to see a better system to attach the joysticks. Something like magnets, like Nintendo is doing. I would also like to see higher performance with an oled screen. If they can deliver, then it's game over for anyone else i think
you wont be gaming at top res or refresh rate unless its older titles and the ally x outperforms it . i think as a swiss army knife the go is the best but strictly gaming its good but not the best , i think people just get wowed by the huge screen and overlook the other details
The great thing about the handheld space right now is that there is no "correct" choice in what is objectively the best one right now. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and it's about finding what suits YOU
As someone who just bought one of these a few weeks ago. I can agree I never put it down lol, and I’ve had Ally Z1 Extreme and Steam Deck. This thing is awesome
@@timekeepermedia5142 Console wise? My Anbernic RG556, the OLED screen is amazing. But the Legion Go has an amazing screen to haha not as portable though
I had a rog ally and legion go and sold my legion go, just felt uncomfortable to me and some of my favorite games ran worse than they did on the rog ally
Russ, your content is always on point, but I must say, you've really stepped up your game on the production value. Lighting, sound, framing... The complete package is looking tight. Keep it coming, man.
I've had the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and now the Legion GO. I must say that the Go has been my favorite so far because of the larger screen. I always felt the SD and Ally screens were too small for most PC games. I wish someone would incorporate all the best features from each device into one. I understand handheld PC's are still in their infancy. But I can imagine what we will be seeing 10 years from now.
When you have a 4 hour layover the Go’s tabletop functionality comes in clutch. I was watching movies and playing games and it felt like only 1 hour lol such a great device
It's also just the right size to use on a plane without feeling like a laptop or larger tablet taking up valuable space while broadcasting whatever you're playing or watching to everybody sitting behind you. I got a tablet mount specifically designed for plane travel to test on a recent trip and never touched the onboard entertainment.
Hi, i will take the plane to go to China on july. Could you explain me how you can use thé legion go on plane bécause the life of the battery is not very large. Excuse my english and have a good day.
@@louiscypher9493 Pretty much all planes that fly internationally have universal power outlets, if I'm not mistaken. I just plugged in a charger for the Go.
I use legion Go mostly for travel trips. I fly monthly for work and it is great for this. Even TSA asked me about it on my trip last week, told the guy to check it out. Most def worth it to me.
Holy crap Russ.... You just fixed my Lenovo x12 laptop's speakers, and I have been trying for well over two years to fix them. They were so metallic and tinny that they would peak and crackle simply at the sound of plugging a device into them. Turns out I didn't have EQ settings in realtek, but that took me down a rabbit hole I hadn't thought about, and turns out there was a dolby atmos console with some dynamic setting that was ja cking everything up. Turned it off... your voice stopped peaking the speakers. They still weren't tolerable, but no longer unusable. So I added in FXsound and turned it to light processing and holy crap it sounds like a laptop. Not a great laptop, but I can actually use the speakers to listen to a lecture now. Man lenovo can't do speakers for crap. Absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service though, I don't love my X12 as a device, but spending $250 for 5 years of next day on-site repair has paid for itself several times over, having a technician come to my house and fix the several hardware faults I've had (firmware update bricking my display driver, dropped it once and broke the magnesium chassis and one speaker)
Here's the thing. I bought this unit of a device not for tabletop but for a replacement for my infotainment center computer. I originally had an alienware alpha, and I loved the form factor and it worked for my use case. To buy or build something today to do what I need I'd spend significantly more than the $600 I spent (labor day sale) to get this device and since I play both a lot of retro games and a lot of new but not super AAA titles, it works very well for me with nothing but a simple dock. To be honest, I can take this thing with me to my parents house to visit if I want to, and that's a great feature, but for my use case it's pretty perfect as is. I will be using some of the suggestions for scaling, and sounds control, but other than that and maybe some new driver's it's exactly what I was looking for.
I’ve had my Legion go since November and I’m still very happy with it, I even sent it in for some warranty work and they had it back before they said it would be back (about a week) this device seems to have great support and I will likely own it for quite some time! Only thing I haven’t quite gotten figured out on it is emulation which is mostly due to lack of much trying. Overall super happy with my purchase.
Went to best buy for an Ally X, ended up getting LLG open box for 580. Loving it so far, playing Uncharted, Star Wars Fallen Order, Apex Legends, which all look good with medium settings. Helldivers runs worse. The big screen is super nice, and if you remove the controls it packs up smaller than Ally X.
I absolutely love my LeGo . Even though i primarily got it for gaming, what sold me on it was the fact that you can't really find a tablet running full windows , with the specs that it has without spending $1000+ bux. Excellent portable tool for using blender and other 3d art applications. I was going to get a waccom graphics tablet but was going to pay no less than $1000 for it. The LeGo does everything i needed from the waccom for half the price.
I like how passionate your reviews are and how they address real life use cases. Most reviews i came across would just run benchmarks ans call it a day, even though they claim to be "enthusiasts"
Yeah, that's what sucks with smaller install bases. Even with the popularity of the Steam Deck I can imagine we'd see a good handful of options... missing out on third party things like cases is whatever, but there's so much potential here :/
I 100% reccomend buying a mountable table arm thats big enough for tablets/this. Its soooooo much more comfortable to be able to chill in your faviorette spot with the screen hovering in front of your face on its own. Especially if you want to use your own controller.
Thank you. I feel that the LLG gets pushed to the back of discussions with focus only on Valve and ASUS. They all have positives and negatives, and different folks will find each one rheir ideal. The Go is that device for me, controller size, screen size, battery, balance, etc. Don't need to knock other portable Consoles/PCs because you prefer one over the other, all are great options.
I love me legion, my favorite part is that the kickstand still works for portrait mode where you can play all the old standup arcades ❤ i owned the deck and ally and returned both but fwll in love with the go. The only thing i would add to your video is de bloating, and you can use a tool like bloatynosy, i went from 250 precesses on the cpu to 115 with about 30% performance boost.
Great video 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I currently have a SD LCD from day one. Looking to grab the GO as a late birthday gift for myself. Excited to get my hands on one soon , just waiting since the Canadian price is 899 plus tax 🤦🏾♂️
thank you for testing bro, the resolution comparison part is definitely something I have been looking for for a long time, then I got it from your video, I think I will buy legion go because I think 800p doesn't bring down the graphic experience as much as I expected
I got my legion go around January, and i love it. I play it almost every day. I've purchased the same grips, and they make it way more comfortable, and as a plus it can still fit in the original case, though just barely, and I've also 3d printed the connector and the vertical screen connector for emulating DS/3DS. I'm finally getting to play sega saturn since none of my other devices emulate it acceptably to me (Retroid Pocket Flip, Samsung Galaxy S10+ with a Razer controller, modded Switch in Android dual boot, though i haven't tried the Switch Cotton rom injection. Only a few games i play require balance mode, where i get 2 hours of play time, most of my emulators and indy steam games run on power saver mode, where i get 3 - 4.5 hours of battery time. Just being able to play anything without having to set up a laptop has been a game changer, and has made it so much easier to just pick up a device when i have 5-10 minutes, or when i just want to play on the couch or in bed. 10/10 would recommend, and if you can get one open box you can get it cheaper than a steam deck OLED. Even so, with the ability to play game the deck can't, and play the games it can better, i think it's worth the extra dollars in my personal opinion.
lol I had to think for a second, LG what? What LG product, then it clicked haha 😂, a fair few have made Steam Decks or Legion Go's their only computers.
@@marksapollo I used davinci resolve to make my vids, and that just doesn't work with linux (also lack of detatchable controlls was a real issue on my SD)

I love my Lenovo Legion Go! I mostly game on my main rig because I have a 4090, so I don't play my Legion Go as much as I'd like, but I take it everywhere with me tbh. Its been awesome. Currently playing Mafia: The Definitive Edition on my Go!
@@IzzyEwoods So I still use my Ayaneo 2 (I use it if I don't want to bring my larger Go) so the Go wasn't really a replacement. I love the Ayaneo 2...feels super premium (mine has the full glass front) and performs great for what I play it for (mostly retro emulation).
@@IzzyEwoods well it really depends on what your needs are. I love the Go big screen and power, but I love the Ayaneo 2 ergonomics. The Go will have better support if you have any issues though so that is something to consider.
Holy crap your speaker settings completely changed the way it sounds waaaay better lol. I find its even better and more punchy with the exact way you have but with omni sound off. Perfect!! Thank you awesome video
Thank you so much for this follow up video on the Legion Go! I picked up a 1TB Legion Go from BB in 'Fair' condition back in Dec for just over $610 after tax. I was worried that it would be scratched and damaged but it was actually in perfect condition. The BB employee I talked to told me they just marked it as 'Fair' to get it sold and I was happy to keep it at that price. I've been enjoying using it overall but I am excited to try out the recommendations you have mentioned! I also plan to grab the comfort grips and then go from there for some of the other accessories. I'd say that my biggest frustration with it is that sometimes I’ll find that it’s turned on while in it’s case so it’s hot and has wasted battery. I’m sure that’s user error but I would like it if it were easier for me to hit the power button and store it without having to worry if something is going to randomly wake it up in there. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
From what I heard looking at many reviews of these devices, that's a windows 11 issue. It was even doing that when I tried using win11 on the steam deck. From what I read online, putting it in hibernate instead of sleep works better. Supposedly that stops it from turning back on, but the downside is it takes slightly longer to resume.
I have it. I had big doubts if i decided good or not. From first day i have it i realise that this is the best handheld. This tablet with separate joystick design its the best. Its so versatile and customizable. I m 100% sure i buyed the best handheld.
Starting 😂😂😂 I haven’t gone back to my deck since. I just wish there was move covers/ accessories etc. but I love it. Still much room to get even better
I have not missed using a handheld like when I tried the Legion Go. Bought it open box and liked it so much I returned it for a new model since it was on sale and I had a 2tb SSD available to upgrade to
The extreme lengths you have to go to have interger scaling and/or FSR or stuff like that just makes me appreciate my SteamOS Steam Deck even more. All these things are a single click away and already included. The equalizer to boost the speakers is also native (and you can also use EasyEffects) and everything is 100% free and extremely easy to use. I still don't understand why people complain that Linux is hard to use when Windows requires so much confusing steps, updating drivers, etc.
but you are not scaling up to anything significant? In fact your going even lower res - on this device we are talking 800P to 1600P - it should be built in to the LEGO for sure, but let's not oversell what the Steam Deck is doing. It's 800P and maybe can squeeze a few lighter games higher on an external display
Honestly I don’t comment a lot lately, but I have to say of all the PC handhelds I’ve used… the legion go is my favorite. It’s far from perfect but it’s the only one I haven’t sold or traded or returned. It does all the stuff I want and I love it. ❤
I got the Deck OLED but it's annoying to have to work around OLED burn in when installing things etc. Decided to try the GO expecting to just return it and was blown away by it. The Deck has been sold!
As someone that at some point travelled overseas with a PS4 fat, a portable monitor, dualshock, personal laptop, business laptop and their corresponding power bricks. The only thing I could say is that I'm amazed with my 2 handhelds! (SD OLED and LLGo), I have to say that on my recent trips I have been choosing the LLGo over the SD OLED simply because I can play any game I want. Also, with controllers dettached it is very easy to travel with, its like travelling with a chunkier ipad mini, then you can throw the controllers wherever you want (these are light but very durable so I dont really care about those at all). Also I have been using it just as a tablet to watch videos, read documents/epubs/browsing in portrait mode and it is a pleasure, I don't really feel the need of a personal laptop anymore. The only thing I could say I'm really missing is a finger print scanner to unlock the thing, similar as the ally. Other than that if they release a refresh of this same product with a few more enhancements: better ergonomics, native landscape display, more refresh rate modes and not only 60-144, more software updates, maybe even an OLED screen, Lenovo will simply blast the handheld market, only with those updates I will be sold to upgrade and not even consider to get rid of my original V1, since I still think that is an amazing product with a ton of use cases other than gaming
I only learned of handheld windows consoles after i saw this in a store yesterday. It was so intrueging that such a small device has windows on it without it being emulated. Sobi picked it up and then i fell in love. Just a shame i cant get it right now,but ill earn it. It is an improvement from my current setup anyway
wow really? Also SD oled user here. What does the app do other than integer scaling and hot it affects the deck? and how it can be run in the background?
Love my Go, it is simply my favorite handheld. I share pretty much all your feelings of it, and while it's clear this was just as much a parts commercial as it was a follow up, I REALLY appreciate learning about that vertical orientation accessory and also that carrying bag. Both are getting purchased!
Yeah, ive had the Legion go since its inception, and i just adore it. It's dependable ,beautiful screen. I actually use my XReal 2 Pro glasses with it as well and a small pockect size foldable keyboard, and i am set. I also have an Anker portable charger (basically a portable power station) that i leave in my car and because the Legion go had the firmware update where the battery charges fast while playing and im getting around 6 hours of play with my hook up, its just no comparison. Ive also since, gotten rid of steam deck, asus ally AND my ps5, there is no need for them anymore after the legion go.
Have owned the LeGo since launch. Handheld Companion is the one and only reason I havent returned this device. When people ask me what I think of it now I always say that it is my favorite piece of gaming hardware that I own, but I also wouldn't recommend it to another single living person over a steam deck OLED.
@@the_bogeyman. I do own both (not an OLED, a launch day 512gb LCD though) and mainly because of the need to go through a lot of effort and frustration to set up basic UX features on the Go that were there on Deck on day one or soon after. The gyro control software through Space, for example, is NOWHERE near as good as a community-driven tool such as handheld companion provides, much less Valve's in SteamOS. you'd think the company making the hardware would be better at harnessing capability of said hardware than the community.
Appreciate the tweaks and shoutout to an awesome community. Main thing holding me back (because I have a gaming laptop) are the battery life and audio (but I usually use bluetooth earbuds anyways). The controllers being unique (and the 3D printed accessories look nice) and the large screen are what draw me in as a Nintendo Switch user. Hoping for the next model to have OLED.
Bro i like the way u describe and making thing so simple and make it better for us by helping with ur knowledge ,, really appreciate your work . keep it up man 👍
Lossless Scaling is such a gamechanger for me. I'm using it not only on my ROG Ally for smooth 120 FPS gameplay, but also on my desktop to get close to 240 FPS on games! Great that it works with any kind of GPU too. It's kind of a miracle app - all for the low, low price of $7!
I bought it almost 7 months ago, still use it, still love it. I absolutely hate that we have 0 new drivers, no proper integer scaling, no proper AMD frame generation and no optimizations for new games. Everything else is pretty decent. I do wish we could buy new controllers more easily, as they are not available in my country =(
I LOVE my Legion Go! I’ve had a Steam Deck from nearly the beginning and I bought a Steam Deck OLED limited edition last year and I barely play it. I mostly take my LG with me when I leave the house.
I have SD OLED LE and love it, but I do like a lot of things about the Legion Go. How would you compare the screens? After the SD OLED I’m not sure I could go back to an LCD. If someday a Legion Go 2 gets an OLED then wow.
@@tappersreviews4677 obviously the LG is lcd but man it’s an amazing one. Way better than the one used in the SD lcd. It very comparable to an OLED though you will see edge backlighting on darker scenes but not much. The screens size is also a head turner. Is big, vibrant, and sharp! It really is nice. I reviewed and compared them on my channel (shameless plug lol)
In addition to the “power savin g” there’s also “Quite Mode” in the bios menu. Spelling isnt a dealbreaker but does show lack of attention to detail in one area that could mean issues in another. I will say the LeGo is the best all around device. Need a tablet? Joy cons? Giant kickstand? Built in track pad and optical mouse? Portrait play? All there. Not as comfortable as Steam Deck or Ally, not as polished, but I bought the thing for emulating EVERYTHING (DS and WiiU included) and that it does very well.
You should try BazziteOS on the Legion Go, it's feature-complete vs the Steam Deck LCD. Steam input back button remapping, gyro, TDP control, etc, is all there with a few decky plugins. Suspend-resume works flawlessly, it basically feels like a Steam Deck with detachable controls.
I feel like it's important to mention button mapping has improved a lot. Not all of the extra buttons are comfortable to use, but the 3 in the back are pretty good and I've mapped them to stuff like alt-tab and esc with no issue. You also can change the button mapping profile very easily, so I have one for watching movies/videos/whatever. The screen is big enough that you basically get a mini TV in bed. Oh, and don't sleep on that mousewheel and trackpad. They make Windows navigation so much better, and are pretty handy to organise big inventories in games too.
I love the Deck's ergonomics and control placement, but my eyes can't deal with 7" screens, so the Go's been awesome. The larger display and versatility coupled with all the community-driven customizations really cement the Go as a dark horse in the handheld race. Great video filled with helpful tips. Definitely going to be picking up those grips to try. Edit: Sold out. Bummer, hope they print some more soon.
I was curious about the Legion from the start but was disappointed after the initial reviews. But I recently caught something regarding Lenovo coming out with some AR glasses later this year that could make this handheld a lot of fun. Now with your positive comments I'm definitely leaning towards the Legion Go. Thanks for all the info.
Thanks, Russ, for confirming I still did the right thing by buying the ROG Ally. I'm so sad Asus is not going to give us a OLED display on the Ally X. On the other hand: saves me a lot of money.

Can you imagine one with the RG35xx H with regards to the install instructions for non stock operating systems? ld love to see it!
I've been using muOS for the 35XXH. There are a few videos on it and you can try to watch and see if it's good for you :)

Yes, Asus have certainly dropped in service levels these days, more interested in ripping the customer off. Lenovo like Valve are better then that.
Lenovo is certainly the best pc brand for quality, price and support
i broke mine, motherboard suddenly failed. tweeted the problem at them at night, in the morning a local rep contacted me took the device and by tomorrow the device was returned. I do appreciate a company who takes after sales w more effort. now i use their PCs and laptop
Best of wishes to all who read this 🥰

Thank you. You too!
You can add telescopic controller and stream in way better setup than Legion Go can
I love my Legion Go. The screen is big and the colors are so vivid. I wouldn't change it for any windows portable device available!
I picked the 1tb version up last week for 500, so far I’m using it as a laptop/iPad replacement
+ the customer service and after service is way better as of now.
you wont be gaming at top res or refresh rate unless its older titles and the ally x outperforms it . i think as a swiss army knife the go is the best but strictly gaming its good but not the best , i think people just get wowed by the huge screen and overlook the other details
The great thing about the handheld space right now is that there is no "correct" choice in what is objectively the best one right now. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and it's about finding what suits YOU
This one still seems like the best
what would you say is the best value for money one? the base steam deck battery life is traumatising to me
As someone who just bought one of these a few weeks ago. I can agree I never put it down lol, and I’ve had Ally Z1 Extreme and Steam Deck. This thing is awesome
Do you still have/play on all 3? Or is the legion go your only 'go to'? (excuse the pun)
@@TheDJDUCK01 At this point the legion go is the only one of the big 3 I have, I have a few of the smaller ones for gens before GameCube/PS2
@@lilrockstarrs what do you like most specifically for ps2?
@@timekeepermedia5142 Console wise? My Anbernic RG556, the OLED screen is amazing. But the Legion Go has an amazing screen to haha not as portable though
I had a rog ally and legion go and sold my legion go, just felt uncomfortable to me and some of my favorite games ran worse than they did on the rog ally
Oh snap, Russ is my brother lefty! ~2 years I've been following your channel, and I discovered this just now ❤
Russ, your content is always on point, but I must say, you've really stepped up your game on the production value.
@@louiscypher9493 会说中文吗?
Always appreciate the Legion Go update videos. I am going to have to order those grips.
Always good to see a mewithoutYou fan! Love those fellas
saw them many times.. so good live!
Went to best buy for an Ally X, ended up getting LLG open box for 580. Loving it so far, playing Uncharted, Star Wars Fallen Order, Apex Legends, which all look good with medium settings. Helldivers runs worse. The big screen is super nice, and if you remove the controls it packs up smaller than Ally X.
you mean Worst Buy
We need a new office tour! Those arcade cabinets look sick
I'm about to go buy one a soon as i go on break in an hour 😊
TATE mode is freaking awesome! Good luck doing that with your ROG Ally!
Since the joycons are modular I wish brands like Flydigi would make premium joycons for the Legion Go
Especifically if the right con can just mirror the left for non-FPS users, or even a left FPS con version
Yeah, that's what sucks with smaller install bases. Even with the popularity of the Steam Deck I can imagine we'd see a good handful of options... missing out on third party things like cases is whatever, but there's so much potential here :/
Well said!
I wish bro. Flydigi last month releasing a premium laptop cooling pad. damn it is expensive but it use peltier hahaha
Excited to get my hands on one soon , just waiting since the Canadian price is 899 plus tax 🤦🏾♂️
the only thing I don't like in SD LCD, is I can't see anything! Too small for me, looking into Lenovo Go...
thank you for testing bro, the resolution comparison part is definitely something I have been looking for for a long time, then I got it from your video, I think I will buy legion go because I think 800p doesn't bring down the graphic experience as much as I expected
I replaced my laptop and desktop with just the LG and have been loving using it so far, it's an absolute beast.
lol I had to think for a second, LG what? What LG product, then it clicked haha 😂, a fair few have made Steam Decks or Legion Go's their only computers.

I just picked one up myself (I currently have the Ayaneo 2). Thanks much for the update on the Go!
How do you feel about the Ayano 2 and what made you get something else instead
@@IzzyEwoods So I still use my Ayaneo 2 (I use it if I don't want to bring my larger Go) so the Go wasn't really a replacement. I love the Ayaneo 2...feels super premium (mine has the full glass front) and performs great for what I play it for (mostly retro emulation).
Can you say one is better than the other ?
@@IzzyEwoods well it really depends on what your needs are. I love the Go big screen and power, but I love the Ayaneo 2 ergonomics. The Go will have better support if you have any issues though so that is something to consider.
Holy crap your speaker settings completely changed the way it sounds waaaay better lol. I find its even better and more punchy with the exact way you have but with omni sound off. Perfect!! Thank you awesome video

I just bought one like yesterday!! I've been playing lies of p on it!!(switch player here!!) Abd to be honest im having SO MUCH fun!!
@@undergradchaos Thanks for the heads-up! I'll give that a try.
I have it. I had big doubts if i decided good or not. From first day i have it i realise that this is the best handheld. This tablet with separate joystick design its the best. Its so versatile and customizable. I m 100% sure i buyed the best handheld.

Thanks for the video Russ. I love my Legion Go.
Me too
Always love your videos, Russ! Keep doing what you're doing!
I just bought mine this week and I love it!
Russ I love that your an aging hardcore/scene kid like myself and your t shirts always make me smile 😊
Honestly I don’t comment a lot lately, but I have to say of all the PC handhelds I’ve used… the legion go is my favorite. It’s far from perfect but it’s the only one I haven’t sold or traded or returned. It does all the stuff I want and I love it. ❤
Ive got mine couple days ago and love it 🙋🏻♂️😁
I recently purchased a Legion Go and am very happy with it.
The only thing it's missing is a Lenovo manufacturer dock.
I got the Deck OLED but it's annoying to have to work around OLED burn in when installing things etc.
Decided to try the GO expecting to just return it and was blown away by it. The Deck has been sold!
I absolutely LOVE my LEGO SO MUCH! The games this runs surprises me everyday!
Being able to play my Xbox games on the go + detachable controller were the main selling point. That big juicy screen also helped.
yes the screen tastes very good like a steak!
Good shout on lossless scaling, using that on my SD OLED and the newest update has made a huge difference.
wow really? Also SD oled user here. What does the app do other than integer scaling and hot it affects the deck? and how it can be run in the background?
I also have a steam deck oled and must have missed that part, how do we use it?
Love my Go, it is simply my favorite handheld.
I share pretty much all your feelings of it, and while it's clear this was just as much a parts commercial as it was a follow up, I REALLY appreciate learning about that vertical orientation accessory and also that carrying bag. Both are getting purchased!
Great video i am loving my legion go keep making Legion go videos i will watch them
Your channel is so amazing! :)
I am curious...why wouldn't you recommend the LeGo over a steam deck oled, if the LeGo is your fav gaming hardware? Do you own both?
Legos are fun
@@the_bogeyman. I do own both (not an OLED, a launch day 512gb LCD though) and mainly because of the need to go through a lot of effort and frustration to set up basic UX features on the Go that were there on Deck on day one or soon after. The gyro control software through Space, for example, is NOWHERE near as good as a community-driven tool such as handheld companion provides, much less Valve's in SteamOS. you'd think the company making the hardware would be better at harnessing capability of said hardware than the community.
@@the_bogeyman.pretty much it’s not easy to recommend to someone who plays casually and has never messed with windows desktop.
Yes. Handheld Companion is Soooo much better than Legion Space
Congrats on 500k brother. Great video as usual. ✌️
Bro i like the way u describe and making thing so simple and make it better for us by helping with ur knowledge ,, really appreciate your work . keep it up man 👍
Those 3D prints are excellent, I now love more my Legion Go!! I just paid $53.99 (including shipping) for the whole set (5 items). Thanks Russ!
Plain and simple the best videos around
I bought it almost 7 months ago, still use it, still love it. I absolutely hate that we have 0 new drivers, no proper integer scaling, no proper AMD frame generation and no optimizations for new games. Everything else is pretty decent. I do wish we could buy new controllers more easily, as they are not available in my country =(
I just got the go. Typing on it now. It's a nice mini tablet pc. If I want a pure handheld steamdeck is probably the better choice
Wicked , truelly the best handheld video ive seen .
Just picked one up, love it!
Introducing the Valve Switch!
Absolutely love my Legion go. Really can not go wrong with 1 terabyte of storage. Would love to see some new controllers.
