How Mayo have changed shape for a kicking game and tighter defence

Commentary after the national league opener questioned whether tactics had really changed that much as a greater emphasis on a longer, more direct kicking game was thought to be sought out.
Whilst a windy, rain-soaked night on game one was never going to show off the finished product, there were some signs that Mayo have altered their setup in a way that will bolster the defence and allow a more direct kicking game to develop.
