Another reason that through adversity a poppy will grow under any conditions and survive. Another reason why the poppy is such an important symbol of our brave veterans 🥀
I believe after the allied solders had fought their way through fields in Flanders the next year due to the ground being turned over by the boots of the soldiers The fields Had thousands of poppies flowering ..

Made me tear up 🥺 im glad there's Remembrance Day, like what Colonel said, the veterans not get lonely. Its feel like the whole country with them to light their heavy memories.
Never forget! I think I am better prepared for the situation we find ourselves in because of the generation that raised me. My grandparents were born in the 1890s and my parents were born during WWI. I can do anything!

I’m sure she will remember having the honor of meeting you and will treasure her badge she received from you! Maybe your sons Princes George & Louis and your lovely tenacious daughter, Princess Charlotte might enjoy becoming scouts as an extra-curricula activity. One of my granddaughters who just started her first year of high school joined the JR Naval ROTC in September of this year!
