- The Duchess of Cambridge played with scouts today as she made a visit to the Scouts' headquarters at Gilwell Park, Essex and joined them in a den made from twigs and leaves. . Report by Habiba Khanom.
She is lovely with children, genuine and real. They love her too

What a nice,relaxed atmosphere the day was for the Duchess of Cambridge. The children were really comfortable and had a lot of fun! Great job Kate!

Oh my gosh, new total respect and appreciation for the focus she has. With all of those cameras clicking, I can only imagine the crowd of photographers and yet she maintains I contact with each child as she speaks to him. That is amazing.

Everyone is trying to keep it positive.
The thing is, Catherine isn't trying to outshine anyone. She is being herself. Meghan is being herself as well. They EACH have their qualities that work well for themselves, the family and their patronages. It is not a contest.
She was on her haunches a lot, to be perfectly honest I couldn't last that long, two minutes of that and I am literally done, she and Meghan have strong quads.

At 0:02 I was surprised to see Catherine wearing leggings. I thought it was against the royal dress code. Maybe not, but she looks good in them.

In my opinion both women can wear whatever they like. There are no rules regarding their clothes.
I believe that she is wearing slender-fit style pants/black jeans. In videos I've seen it appears that she tends to wear this type of pants or stylish track suits when she is going to be participating in engagements involving physical, outdoor & sports activities.
She has worn pants/slacks often over the years.
