Wish ableton had ARA2 support the record function gets progressively time consuming with larger files... they just missed the mark on that with the recent Live 12 release 🤦♂
ARA support has been the top requested feature on Ableton's boards for what seems like a decade now but they just ignore it. I was a diehard ableton user but ended up switching to logic for this exact reason.
Cmon bruh.Is there another video to use in Abelton? You're talking too fast and not showing which tracks you're adding the plug in on.I recorded 3 vocal tracks and have no clue to hear playback capture in Abelton......??? Been at it all morning with no luck.
I had to watch it twice to understand. you have to put 2 instances of Vocalalign(1 on each dubbed vocal tracks) , and use the sidechain function to choose the track which will lead, and then you capture (how do you get it one both tracks at the tim, IDK), and so you have to play the entire vocal part in real time to capture. That makes it way longer and boring than in Studio One for example (I'm working on both DAW)
Nice video! Do you think it’s worth the extra 200 for Pro instead of Standard? I only need to align the vocals, the pitch is easy to do with melodyne studio for me.
When I apply this in ableton one of my tracks is muted?? So I'll have three instances of the plugin, one of them on the vocal I want to side-chain everything else to and the other two on two other vocal tracks which are side-chained to that vocal. Of those two other tracks, only one of them will be able to be heard. Does this straight up just not work if you've got more than two vocal tracks?
@@LivioVolpe I guess I have found a new way to not turn them into stereo.. You gotta export the particular track first and then take it back to the Ableton project as a new audio.. also, turn off the 'normalise' option off while exporting becuse it increases the peak (the waves appear much bigger too if you dont turn it off).. I think this workaround might help. cheers.
Great explanation! Thank you!

If I purchased the standard edition, is it possible to upgrade to the pro edition by just paying a difference between the two?
yeah, get it on Thomann though it's cheaper

Hi! I'd recommend our Voc 6 Pro trial to test it out for yourself :)
just get standard if you have autotune already I think
Yes just tested last week and I have bought standard, great tool. Saved me so many hours already

yeah.. I had to redo it a few times .. group stacks are a little painful
Why is the mono vocals track being transformed to stereo?
That's an Ableton Live thing, it happens automatically. But the reason itself, i'm also curious to find out why exactly.
