This is actually really well designed. It's future proofed with a bath for either kids, elderly or sick, and the bedroom downstairs if anyone is unable to use stairs. Kitchen is a great size, and people only need smal lounge room. The deck is also a great feature. Honestly, with COL and housing prices rising, tiny living will be standard. I love this design. Well done!
For me ( and many others )it’s a lot about the “ footprint” , plus as a senior …..do you Really Want to Clean a Larger Space? This home looks well thought out , to live in and use efficiently for a good while - at least thru the first child . . As I age it looks usable for at least a decade . I like their concept .

I really like your choices, especially the kitchen size and arrangement. The bump out is the perfect window seat. Porches are always a great bonus. Good choice to make, in my opinion. You guys did a great job.
This is such a beautiful tiny house. Layout is perfect. Love the white color. Makes the place very airy. Smart move to have the bedroom upstairs. The couple still young so no problem with maneuvering in the loft. Later when they have mobility problem, they can switch to downstairs bedroom, and have their kid (assuming they have one by then) use the loft. The bathroom would be less claustrophobic if the curtain is kept open. I love the kitchen, the lounge, and the fact that there is a convertible table so they can have a romantic dinner. ❤ (can’t imagine eating on the couch without a table, like some tiny house). Lovely couple. The lady can’t stop smiling, it’s infectious. Love her personal space for daily devotion. A bonus. This tiny house has everything and im happy for them. I wish long and loving stay in their perfect home. God bless and keep them.❤😊

The storage lofts are always under designed. What a perfect opportunity for mobile storage cubes filled with clothes, memorabilia, winter gear, extra beddings, extra kitchen appliances etc. Mobile rolling cubes create expandability and more living space below

Your tiny looks so great. You did a wonderful job of making space where there wasn't much space. I love Tennessee. We've been in east Tennessee for 8 years now and just love it. Ironically, we moved here to get away from the hurricanes in Houston, TX. They found us! We are thankful that all we suffered was our dam made our water pump house get damaged with the amount of water overflowing and we were without water for a week. It is still not drinkable, but we are thankful to have it restored. I hope you enjoy Nashville. Dream big!
This is a great story and a lovely couple. I also love her joy! We also found Hipcamp and were staying on a farm in Livingston MT and on land in Amarillo TX in November.

Very nice build. Although I'm much older and would be inclined to build a single level tiny house. You showed how that would look as well. The width really makes a difference in your build.I'm considering going with a 10x30 build myself. Again, a great job!
I have seen the foot cutout in another video and it was great! The loft was her office. If you do another tiny, I did see a video and the bathroom ceiling was lower, and the loft above were able to more space up, then down, like you did with choosing to sleep in the loft.
I’ve been looking at tiny houses and destination rvs and trailer homes. It got me thinking, the rvs have slides everywhere, and since you can only go up 13 1/2 feet so I wonder if anyone ever thought about a pop up? Once you get to your spot you can raise the ceilings that way you can stand up in the lifts. I’ve never seen that before but it’s a great idea!

9:47 - why cannot you make it tall enough? What are the real limitations? You can't transport this on the road anyway since it is much more than 2.55 meters wide.
Do mini split heat pumps in the USA not have dehumidification capability? The units i was able to buy in Canada (Mr Slim from Mitsubishi) heat, cool and manage humidity.
Why didnt you just buy the land and built a "normal house" but wd specs/expenses close to tiny house. Or does the bldng code have a sp. Size and amnt of built.
These homes were meant to get away from paying taxes. Nice homes but most states don't allow them. Wish I could find a place that doesn't tax you for owning land with a tiny home.

Who is the builder of your tiny house?
If the unit is more than 8-1/2 feet wide it really isn't a 'tiny house'. What you have is a 'park model' mobile home.
But, I have to admit, you have a very nice and comfortable park model mobile home!
A mobile home is a home that's mobile. They cannot move their home aka it is not mobile.

They are renting the land. The landowner pays the taxes with their land rent money.
