- Using a willow blade underspin. Charleston inshore saltwater kayak fishing in unclear water. I shot this video in early July during the middle of the day. One thing I love about inshore fishing around Charleston is the tidal variable. I find that like with so many other environments animals are more active in the early mornings or evenings. However, the tidal flux has so much to do with the habits of these fish that they are catchable any time of day.

Great kayak launches near mt. pleasant … paradise landing is great (upper wando), Gadsdenville (copahee sound), iop Marina (pay to launch), Sullivans (station 26).
