Just a safety tip from an experienced Bushcrafter, bear spray is not effective and is known to agitate bears. It is far better to have slug shots ready to defend yourself and your children. God bless.

Family of 8 here... we would go camping most summers.
The past few years, we've been going in early fall. Such a memorable experience.
My husband will show the kids some survival and bushcraft skills when we're out.

@Jady A You’re the only one in the world they could make me actually want to go camping lol looks beautiful, fun, and the best of both worlds camping and seaside! I love how your children are so well-behaved I know my children would enjoy that too. I just wonder if they would ever be able to keep their hands off the flowing water and the electricity lol

Great set-up! Very similar to ours, but we need a lot more blankets where we live. 75 at night! Our forests are usually much colder at night, but we like getting cozy in the tent after enjoying the stars. And laundry! That is awesome. I don't think I have ever been to a campground with laundry, but we tend to stick with the public lands (national forests, national parks, and state parks.) We also always have to keep our cooler and food bin put away because of the bears.

I follow u n i love ur videos a big thanku fr all ur guidance but With all due respect im just wondering what happened to ur advise for modest dressing? Two of ur videos r on modest dressing with a cross on shorts but i see u n kids so often in shorts!
Never have I said we do not wear pants or shorts. We wear shorts when we camp, do sports and go to the beach and especially in hot summers when we are out biking, hiking and being active just like any normal family would and the weather and activities call for it. That does not mean we are not modest. In my video of modesty I talked about that we do not wear skinny jeans, booty shorts, crop shirts, etc. When we are in a place with alot of mosquitoes my little kids wear leggings for protection especially in the evening, but only on the campsite. We do not wear bikinis and bathing suits. For swimming we swim with shorts and rash guards, but when we camp and do sports we wear shorts just like any normal family would. My girls still wear skirts very often. If you listen carefully in my video I mention that we wear pants, we try our best to find baggier and longer shorts. So my advice still stands and we try our best to be modest in a world that is not very modest. Even the shorts I wear are longer than what most would wear and it is not easy finding longer shorts. People need to stop judging others and put on the glasses of compassion and rational thinking. This was a camping video not a clothing video.
