Thank you so much for sharing. I took note.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 1. Dinner around 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Including cleaning up after dinner. She does not want her kids to grow up thinking that someone will come clean for them. So they clean together 2. 5:30pm to 6:30pm they do something as a family. During summer. They go to a local park after dinner and spring. In the winter time, they stay home and do board games and handy craft. She is playing with the 3 kids and husband playing with the other little kids and bonding with them 3. At 6:30pm. She has an alarm that goes off. Night time preparing start. Kids have snack. Her little ones have bottles. She goes to the laundry room and get clean clothes that needs to be hanged in the closet. Her older child put her clothes away. After that older child go for shower and little ones go for bubbles bath. She adds magnesium bubbles bath soap in the water.Big kids go to their rooms after shower. For little kids, she brushes their teeth and massage her kids. Which helps with bonding. 4. By 7:30pm, kids are in their rooms. They recite psalms 23 together as a family. She connects with each individually and say a prayer with them and dim the light. Kids stay in their beds, in the bedroom, door's closed. They are not allow to play or jump. They are allow to talk to each other. That set, their night time routine. It has predictability to it, it has a sense of safety for them. It is a ritual. They do the same thing every single day and that is why it has become easy to put the kids to beds. As they go to this routine, the kids know that they are getting closer closer to bedtime.
I gave this video a like when she said "so you can have time with yourselves and your husbands" speak to us Jady. Love your videos they have helped me so much as a mom as well!
Even now in my 30s, I remember my mom rubbing me and my sister down after bath time. I love that as a reminder to slow down the bath time routine and use that as extra bonding time. Honestly, I get a little snappy at bedtime cause I'm ready to get some me time, but I just have to get started earlier. Thank you for the tips!
Testament that skin to skin bonding is not just for mommies and infants. And don't worry, you're not the only Mommy that gets frustrated at bedtime. But that's why we have one another for support.
I might not be able to completely control my household like you but I still love watching your videos and listening to your advice. Watching you makes me feel like I can do it even if my family is alot more chaotic then yours, I do try and I won't give up.
She is uniquely gifted in organization and management, I think it's great to learn from her but not feel bad if we're not exactly the same! I know that because I'm not perfect my kids learn a lot about humility 😅 and I'm thankful for that!
I can't thank you enough Jady! You have been a great resource for me for the last 6yrs. I've purchased your materials and curriculum, it helped my children advance greatly especially reading! God bless you and your family. Thank you for the love you pour into your children and the world!
I remember when I was a kid, I loved my daily/night routines, it made me feel "secure" and I felt relax. Thank you Jady, you are our sunshine, you help us to be a better parent, happy kids!
There is something very calming about listening to you. I feel like I can accomplish anything! Your kids must love that. We have a routine that slightly varies a few nights a week but where I find myself struggling is starting early enough. You eat dinner very early. My husband is working and I really want to wait for him. So we may eat dinner at 5:30 one night or 6 or even 6:30 other nights depending on his meetings. I wish we could start earlier because I know my kids would benefit from an earlier bedtime. Right now we strive for 8pm but it is lots of stress and rushing after dinner to make this happen.
I'm in the same situation. We have dinner at 630pm, my husband plays with the kids, then shower time, prayers and bedtime. Most nights we make it to bed at 8pm. You can do it. 730pm might not be feasible, but 8pm is okay in my opinion.
Thank you for this. We have a newborn, 2 year old and 3 year old. These are such good reminders. It was so easy with one kid, then we adjusted with two, and now with the third the last two months have been harder at night. These are great tips.
She's right about routines being imperative. A few things making this timeframe unattainable for some families: 1. Work schedules 2. After school/recreational sports 3. Varying parenting styles 4. Pure disobedience 😂 But it's beautiful when all goes to plan
Thank you so much for this video ! You posted this right after I had a really stressful night with my 3 year old and I actually had to pause after you started talking about going out after dinner , I immediately took my son outside ( I’m in New Jersey as well so it was cold lol ) and he got all his wiggles out and actually went to bed early 🙌🏾 today was night 3 of change my routine and so far so good 😊 thank you for this and all your content has blessed me , I think I’ve been watching you for about a year and a half now and also I use your homeschool curriculum with my son and I love it 💛
I tried this for the first time last night and it worked like a charm. God is so good … this momma was able to get some studying in the Word of God, catch up with my work, spend time with my husband and go to bed at a decent time. Praise the Lord. I thank God for you Woman of God! God bless you and your family always!!
LOVE this video. Our babies go to bed at 7:30 too but we don't have an awesome routine like this! Definitely gave me stuff to think about. I just wanted to mention something unrelated - about LAVENDER. I only learned about this in the past year and when I saw you talking about your babies playing in the lavender-magnesium bath I felt I should say something b/c it's not common knowledge. Lavender (also tea tree oil) has been linked to endocrine disruption and is estrogen-mimicking. Essential oils have been used since time immemorial but I think many people use more than our ancient ancestors would have ever had access to. I'm not suggesting that you use it in excess, but I personally did not know anything about it and just felt like I should pass it on. To Jady or anyone else reading this, please don't take my word for it. ❤️
thanks for sharing! all these products can be bought fragrance free for those concerned . We always change our bubble baths and balms and do not use the same ones long term. We use, chamomile, cedarwood and many others we rotate in. I always make sure they are safe for children. Thanks for sharing about lavender I am sure google has something to say about all essential oils so one has to make their own decisions on which ones to pick for their family!
Jady thank you! Our night time routing is so different because my husband works nights and it’s just me with the 3 kids. I think the key point you mentioned is to be consistent. Not everyone has the same routine but it’s so interesting to see. God bless you and thank you for all your helpful and informative videos. You are seriously wonder mom ❤️
yes you have to create your own routine so that it works for your family and this was just an example routine. Every family is different but I have found this routine to give me some alone time, much needed at night after a hard day! Blessings!
Thank you so much Jady! I just found your UA-cam page about a week ago & became an instant subscriber! Lol I've literally been binge watching all of your homeschooling videos (I am a new homeschooling mom of 3 😊) . Just want you to know You are truly helping me through this journey from the way you talk to your kids, take your time with them, plan your days and routines with them, and how you do group subjects with them. Definitely learning a lot from your videos so I really appreciate you and want you to know that from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏾❤
Aww! This was such a peaceful moment for me to watch! I have fallen off track with a few things now that both my kids are in school AND extracurriculars. I appreciate this moment to stop and reflect on it. Thanks!!!
My routine looks similar although struggling at the moment as my almost two year old it taking a long time to go to sleep at night. He's normally asleep for 7.30pm and it really is essential for mental health and happiness (for me). Thanks for sharing. I love your videos. So helpful.
We have been doing night routine too... just like yours, my two year old for some reason is struggling to fall asleep. He wants to play, he says go out, then he wants to talk. But Im sticking to the routine, hopefully soon we will go back to sleeping fast as he did. Thanks for the video!
This must be the norm for toddlers who are nearing 2. My son is weeks away from his 2nd birthday and is experiencing the same. 11:30 bedtime currently!
Our issue isn't getting our four year old to bed on time but getting her to stay asleep. Our 13-year-old 10-year-old and 6-year-old go to bed without incident but the 4-year-old will be asleep no later than 8:00 p.m. and wide awake at 1:30 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. We stopped letting her take midday naps and gave her melatonin and it hasn't helped. Right now she's our little night owl 🌜🦉
Great video! I've always been a stickler for routines since my kids were infants. I really think its what keeps them sleeping through the night and not climbing in our bed like other kids do. Lately its been harder as my husband isn't home until 8. So we don't have family meals anymore and sometimes he isn't home to tuck them in either. I know its just a time in our lives for now though
Your routine sounds fantastic! Ours happens a bit in reverse as my husband doesn’t get home until 6:30/7 and eating together is priority. But I agree that consistency in the evenings is paramount!
What an amazing, thoughtful mom in every way! What a beautiful bedtime routine. I’m so inspired! Also, Pretty Pretty Princess is the best!💖💖💖 I havent played since childhood, but now I hope my parents saved it so I can play with my daughter.
I wish my daughter went down at 7:30… last few times I did that, she was up at 11pm and all morning. I find she does better with with 9-10pm bed time and wake up at 8
That's perfect! She is getting 11 hours of sleep! We too have a later bedtime because we do not have to be up early. My husband runs his own business and many nights is not home until 7pm. Dinner as a family takes priority over early bedtime. Prior to 2020 I was on call over nights and would not get home from the hospital until 6:30am. My daughter sleeps until 9:30 so I could get some sleep before started our day. Each family does what is best for them.
In our house it varies between the seasons - winter it's 7-8, but summer it's 9-10 due to long days. When you live in the countryside and have more chores (like animals for instance) it's just impossible to wrap up the day at 5-6, especially if some extra classes (music, sport) finish around 6-7.
Love this! We do 7pm bedtime and since doing this particular bedtime it’s been a godsend for my sanity. ( we used to do 8pm but it was too late for them it felt like) We play until 5:30 outside then eat dinner and get ready for bed. Bath time teeth brushed and then we read all the favorite read alouds and there’s always one already asleep by the time 7pm hits and the other follows shortly after.
The massages is something my kids love & enjoy. They also like gentle back scratches and it makes them feel relaxed & they fall asleep so much faster than before we had that routine. It's crazy how little changes help! Also, since I'm a mom of 2 sometimes my kids would get upset if I massaged one first and not the other so I decided to alternate every night so they already know if one got a massage one night then it'll be the other ones turn the next time!
Jady, thank you for this video! You are a blessing, a godly example, and a light! Would you please do a video showing when and how you lesson plan and prep all of the educational activities you do with your kids? Do you plan and prep daily, weekly?
Thank you so much for this video. My husband and i started to implement these strategies today, and i think we nailed it! i hope we will be able to make it a habit.
thank you, not only do you help me with parenting tips but also inspire me as a mother to take it one task at a time. You are amazing. I love you. God bless you and your family
I'm having hard time now with my 4 year old son since I started working. His dad is the one attending him now, and he's becoming really wild, I think this is because my kid is now soaked in screen unlike before. My husband would opt to let him watch so he could do his thing in the computer. My kid easily cries this time and would terribly hold up his food in his mouth, he'd even finishes his meal in about almost 2 hours. Later my son would start his online classes I hope I could keep up on my ideals on making things right and easy. Huhu. I want a routine and yet its so impossible to achieve since I started working. I love all your video Jady. You have help me in attending my son's early stages. You're awesome! God bless you and your wonderful family and to all the moms here in this channel God bless you all!
Thanks. To anyone who feels bad for early bedtime DONT. It's good for them and yourself to rejuvenate and relax. Making sure beds are comfortable an right size, pillows, an blankets are important to.
We are the same. 6:30 start to get ready, 7pm bed. Although my husband works nights I NEED my alone time to rejuvenate. Being a mom, teacher, cleaner, accountant, and chef all day takes it out of you.
Thank you Jady! I love the idea of a massage before bed. This might help one of mine who had a tough time falling asleep. I’d love to know what snacks you give.
Thank you for sharing! My family is still a far shot from this but I am encouraged that you mentioned that it takes some time. I will work hard to implement this.
How do you manage to have dinner at 5pm?! I feel like I missing out!! What time do you have lunch then? I struggle because I do dinner time around 7pm and then after it’s bed time around 9pm so by the time everything is done it’s 10pm and I am already tired by then….
It's really cool to know I basically have the same nighttime routine with my favorite influencer😀 my only issue is we start dinner at 6 or 7 so the kids go to bed around 9. I need to get them to bed earlier like I did when they were really little
I've been being watching your videos, I have a 3 yr old that's a late talker and currently getting speach therapy once a week, for the past week I've been doing lots of research on ways to help him with his speach, his very smart, he can imitate a whole movie for you, he can sort things and match things and loves for me to read books, he listens and does everything that we ask for. The only thing is that he says a few words only. In this past week that I have neen working extra with his, he has picked us a few new words and now points to things he wants. Any tips that you can give me, I'll be definitely be doing a lot of you diy boxes for hands on activities on one of ur other videos I watched. 💜
We do a lot of the same things. Dinner is usually a little different on weekends so baths may come before dinner sometimes. Dinner is usually 5-5:30pm.
Thank you, Jady! I noted some useful ideas, love the idea s for bonding like games after dinner and a rub. I am sure my son would love it! Want to try. May God bless you!
My evening routine is similar. This is for if a husband works second shift. 1. Outdoor play after quiet time. 6p.m alarm goes off just in case I didn't 2. Light supper...our main meal is at dinner when dad is home. I love her idea of them helping clean up. Our older children alternate cleaning during dinner with their dad each day while I do content read aloud for Littles before quiettime. I should have the Littles help with evening suppertime. 3. Bathes and house quick pickup 7p.m sharp an alarm goes off 4. Story hour...we do songs, Bible stories, and classic literature during this time. It is everyone's favorite part of the day. My older children are either working outside the home or taking bathes during this time. This period I for under 12...but it is common our bigs will hold a toddler for fun...as what is cuter than a singing toddler or clapping baby🥰. 8 to 8:30 is bedtime. I try to keep storyline to 1 hour, but if quiettime lasted a bit later that day than I may continue an extra couple stories. When I am expecting and exhausted this has been known to be 45 minutes...mama's need extra rest sometimes to. 5. Bedtime for children. I can do a good sweep of the house and a final put kitchen to bed and listen to UA-cam or a podcast while I quickly straighten the last touches. The last thing didn't happen as much when my last baby was little due to she wanted cuddled...and I embraced that season and enjoyed the cuddles😁.
Thank you for sharing. I do get my kids into bed by 7/7:30. Question: Here’s the challenge-sometimes once I walk out the room they start playing and I have to come back. What can be done to help them STAY in bed? Should there be some sort of consequence? Share your thoughts please.
Another help.. Do you take standardized tests for your kiddos and submit to the school district. If yes can you please share your journey on that which one did you take and where. Do you ever think of sending them to the brick and mortar school ?
This is so helpful! How do you handle late nights? My husband and I are in full time ministry. We have evening services and it’s hard to get the kids to bed every night at the same time. Any suggestions?
I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old. They literally never sleep. On a school night they will go to bed at 10:30 despite me doing dinner, bath and bed. I am heavily pregnant and exhausted. I will try out your tips, thank you for posting xx
The amount you fit in astounds me.... How do you walk to a park AND back AND play at the park in the 5:30-6:30 time frame, and how are you able to get everyone showered, bathed, rooms tidied and in bed from 6:30-7:30? I feel like everything takes me too long. Maybe because I do it myself (husband is working during that time)?
God Bless you ❤️
Love this video, many thanks - second time watching and I've taken notes in my journal lol! I'm still trying to implement it but seeing the difference. My main struggle is getting dinner ready on time for 4:30, how do you achieve this? Or if anyone else has cooking time tips, especially if you homeschool - do you cook in the mornings or leave it until the hour before dinner is due? Thanks in advance x x
Make a weekly menu in advance, in general I try to make sure breakfast is done or super easy and quick the night before. Lunch is usually leftovers or prepared after breakfast (usually with kids help) and dinner is prepped if not started after dinner as well (sometimes the night before too). Slow cookers are a lifesaver. Then dinner is put together between 3:30-4:30 and ready by 5 or 5:30 but my youngest kids often have a snack during that prep time.
@@MeraBaid Thanks so much for your reply. Weekly menus have definitely made a big difference in my household, from what you've said I'm going to start looking at more things I can prep in advance to make the cooking time quicker 👍🏽
First tip is to have a scheduled meal plan for the week. Try cook foods enough to last atleast 2days so U feel Ur not cooking every day. and start cooking it around 1or 2pm or could be early in the morning whatever suits you. And dinner will be done at the right time. :)
@@keleyahlivebytheword8864 Thank you for taking the time to reply! I've realised that cooking early is definitely a must, going to try and get it done even earlier.
( we used to do 8pm but it was too late for them it felt like)
We play until 5:30 outside then eat dinner and get ready for bed. Bath time teeth brushed and then we read all the favorite read alouds and there’s always one already asleep by the time 7pm hits and the other follows shortly after.
Thank you so much for sharing! You are always so helpful and reassuring!
Thank you so much! Your encouragements and guidance are a Godsend.
Great tips! I'm going to look into the soak & balm🤩 I think that will help SO MUCH.
Me too!
We do most of this. I love the idea of balm and massages, especially if its more about the bonding than the fancy balm. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Jady ❤️ you are one heck of an amazing lady and so inspiring xox
Wow. You inspire me, thank you God for leading me to this page 🥰
Absolutely lovely. So similar to our routine. Just a beautiful loving ritual. 🤎
Thanks. To anyone who feels bad for early bedtime DONT. It's good for them and yourself to rejuvenate and relax. Making sure beds are comfortable an right size, pillows, an blankets are important to.
Lady A. I Love You so much for giving your Women REALISTIC ways of living. Let NONE silence your voice because real families need you.
We are the same. 6:30 start to get ready, 7pm bed. Although my husband works nights I NEED my alone time to rejuvenate. Being a mom, teacher, cleaner, accountant, and chef all day takes it out of you.
Thank you so much for this, very helpful!
Gratitude 👑💜
100% I'm so glad my kiddo has been going to bed by 7:30 PM and has been doing well getting up early to start our day.
My 8 year old son Loves games. I play board games with him all the time!
Thank you Jady! I love the idea of a massage before bed. This might help one of mine who had a tough time falling asleep. I’d love to know what snacks you give.
I love all these routines you’re doing. I’d love to learn more from you about mothering and home management. ❤️
I need to get them to bed earlier like I did when they were really little
How old are your kids? My oldest two have an 8:30 and 9pm bedtime and if works really well for them.
I really needed this. I get so overwhelmed with my 2 sons. I'd love more videos like this.
Thank you wonderful suggestion 💕.
Thanks Jady ❤️ Happy New year to you and your family.
Love to see you and hear you... Whatever you say always....
Go Jady A you are great! From UK
Thank you for this video.
Your voice is so calming. I had a challenging day and this just encouraged me and calmed me 😩 thank you for sharing your wisdom!
I really love you and appreciate what you're doing 💖 you are a great mom
I am from Egypt 🇪🇬
@@ayamamdouh8718 Egypt! How neat!
I have a million alarms on my phone. I never thought to make one for a sleep routine. I’m going to try this.
Mine are in bed by 7:30 as well. My husband and I look forward to our evenings together ❤️
Wow! Do they take naps during the day? If so around what time please?
Yes please video on family games and family bonding activities
Jada, you are such an awesome mom! Thanks for sharing!! ❤️
Love all of your videos! Thank you a lot!
Thank you Jady. I really appreciate everything you share in this channel, it really helps me a lot.
lots of love from Italy
Thank you for sharing this with us! Definitely helps so very much! ❤️
You r my role model dear!
May God bless you.
Ooh I can’t wait for your time management tips 🙏
Just appreciate you so much. 💕 Thank you for all your hard work! You are such a valuable resource, Jady!
It's calming and relaxing listening to you. Thanks this amazing share. I will definitely be working on this.
This is what I was waiting for!
Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️
I absolutely love this! I will try to implement some of these methods.
Thank u for the video!I am interested in the play list with clean up.
Same. We all need sleep 😊
Thank you, Jady! I noted some useful ideas, love the idea s for bonding like games after dinner and a rub. I am sure my son would love it! Want to try. May God bless you!
Thank you for your sharing.
My evening routine is similar. This is for if a husband works second shift.
1. Outdoor play after quiet time.
6p.m alarm goes off just in case I didn't
2. Light supper...our main meal is at dinner when dad is home. I love her idea of them helping clean up. Our older children alternate cleaning during dinner with their dad each day while I do content read aloud for Littles before quiettime. I should have the Littles help with evening suppertime.
3. Bathes and house quick pickup
7p.m sharp an alarm goes off
The last thing didn't happen as much when my last baby was little due to she wanted cuddled...and I embraced that season and enjoyed the cuddles😁.
you are very wise!! You are a professional, I wish you the best of the best!!!!!
Routines are very important
This is wonderful! Definitely going to incorporate some of your tips, I am always eager to improve in areas dealing with parenthood!
Thank you JA! Keep up the excellent work
Thank you 😁
Thank you for sharing. I do get my kids into bed by 7/7:30.
Question: Here’s the challenge-sometimes once I walk out the room they start playing and I have to come back. What can be done to help them STAY in bed? Should there be some sort of consequence? Share your thoughts please.
Thanks jady i always love watching your videos😊
Appreciate your encouragement at 12:45 ☺️
Another help.. Do you take standardized tests for your kiddos and submit to the school district. If yes can you please share your journey on that which one did you take and where. Do you ever think of sending them to the brick and mortar school ?
You really inspire me
Thank you a lot
Thanks for the lovely videos
Ver inspiring
This is so helpful! How do you handle late nights? My husband and I are in full time ministry. We have evening services and it’s hard to get the kids to bed every night at the same time. Any suggestions?
Same here! Dinner will never be so early at our house. 😊
Do you brush all the girls' hair? My daughter's hair is hard to brush so I have to do it myself.
God Bless you ❤️
seco el pelo con toallas. Usar muy seguido la secadora no es saludadable para el
pelo. Saludos amiga!
@@JadyA Muchas gracias por responderme. Saludos! ❤️
Building strong foundation for the future
The time Jady starts eating is when I start cooking lool, on a good day! Need shift my life back a couple hours or so 🤦🏽♀️. Thanks again!
Hi Jady!
Thank you for this helpful video. What night light is your daughter using or can you recommend a night light for my night reader?
