Bainz puts his analog gear to the test in this exclusive video series. The recording and mixing engineer joins us from his studio in Los Angeles to deconstruct the mix of a hard-hitting trap anthem by Young Thug. Mixed using a combination of plugins and hardware, you will learn new techniques for integrating outboard equipment into your workflow.
The chart-topping mixer begins with an overview of his hybrid setup. He examines each piece of gear in his collection and explains how each one contributes to his signature sound. wish every other song on the album was mixed like this . this is the best mixed song on the album the rest of punk sounds horrible. muffled, etc.
its thugs choice they used a bunch of demos on that one. there's interviews with bainz where he didn't sound to happy about it either.

Sadly I've never seen a trap album that combos good production, a good artist, and decent engineering. This and Wyclef Jean are the only two Thugger songs I've found so far with amazing engineering and because of that they are the only two I listen to on the daily.
