How to Make the De'Ana Star (Paracord) Sinnet by TIAT

The De'Ana Star is the fusion of a standard Zipper Sinnet with an elbow transition or single standard chain sinnet (i.e. Caterpillar Sinnet). The technique shown to make the star illustrates a way to make a myriad of flat geometric paracord configurations. So be sure to play around and generate shapes of your own. Then share the "recipe" for the tie. For instance the De-Ana Star is "5-ZS, 1-E, 10" (or 5 Zipper Sinnets + an Elbow transition, 10 times). Video Production by J.D. Lenzen of Tying It All Together.

For anyone using 550, I ran out of cord with 8 feet, so you might want to add an extra foot when you cut a piece to make this

Where on the 8ft of cord are you suppose to start this? I started in the middle and by the 5th edge I had much more cord on the left than the right side so it wasn't going to be possible to finish with 10 complete edges

ive tried 8 times to get this right, i got the 8 ft of cord i counted the 5 sinnets plus the 1 elbow each time and i still up with only 7 zags and my cord runs out on the right side. is there something im doing wrong?

nice.. but i used 550 and even for the first 5 Z's, i had used up 10ft.. so i had to use other colors to finish the remaining sides.. maybe i did it wrong, maybe not..

Regardless to the reasoning for no video playback on an Apple device, it makes no sense for ths condition to continue. Lot of people use the Apple tablet and phone to enjoy the TAIT UA-cam channel. I really hope the current situation is corrected soon.
