Climbed all the peaks back in 97', hiked in via cayonlands national park. Backpacked over 100 miles back country camping 😅. Long time ago now. My body just cant do those things anymore. Miss it all, was absolutely stunning then as it is now.

Years back I found narrow 4WD trails near the top of Mt. Peale ....... And an iconic-looking really old front end of a car all evenly rusted red, v-curved over hood, like it was smiling at you....... and I want to remember old log cabins with preserving out-of-place metal roofs on them, but that might have been somewhere on another mountain in another state. The LaSals have some incredible old growth Aspens nearer the top, thought I was back high in the Rockies! Thanks for the trip, great in your face photography!!!

Another lesser known but fabulous overlook in that area is Needles Overlook in the Canyon Rim National Recreation Area, between Moab and the Needles section of Canyonlands.

Thanks for showing this. I'm from the East coast and we were in Colorado touring the Rockies. We decided to drive into Utah and see Canyon Country. Driving West on I70 we started to see the La Sals and were like what mountains are these? Been up there many times since then. For photographers, like myself, they are such a beautiful backdrop for the red rock desert area, especially when snow covered.

Thank you very much for your nice comment. We also love driving around and finding new places. And, I love haring from people who share similar perspectives. I wish to go back there, and like you said, La Sals with snow must be beautiful. Thank you very much for watching the video 😄

We stayed a few nights on a ranch in the foothills some years back. A delightful spot and so starkly different to the desert surrounding on all sides. Looking forward to returning in the near future to do more exploring (we’re from Australia)

It’s not hidden anymore since it’s been posted online. Also, the place has been around for millions of years, and has only been hidden to those who haven’t gone there. Channels like this are the end of the West. Poserville.

Hmmm. Since Utah itself markets it, and there are a number of other UA-cam vids contemporaneous with or earlier than this one, I think you’re rather late in criticizing this channel.
