❤️Thank you for watching!! Got any questions for future videos?? 👇
hmmm tips for projected shadows but, not on the ground, over the figure or on others. It seems so difficult !!
Your influences and how you acquired your skills, such as influential books or illustrators who you learned concepts from. Great video as always 😊
Hey
Yeah u

How to do shawdows
What color do you use in the multiply layer to make the shadows? Do you just pick the base one?
You could do a tutorial about what types of colors should we use in each type of layer, depending on the blending mode, the base colors, and the colors around the background.
That is an excellent idea! Thank you 😊 The color that I use if a bit darker, saturated thank the base color
Brilliant. I have wanted to see someone explain this for ages. Thank you.
Glad that it was useful 🙂
The most awaited video is here ❤️
Happy to hear that 😁
I love this tutorial, just straight to the point
Thank you, that’s cool😁
screen makes every color underneath brighter :)
Honestly learned so much. I am still figuring out digital art on procreate and masks and effects go over my head at times
Yeah, it a long process, but with practice everything is possible to learn🙂
I already have an idea of what blending modes do but it’s always useful to be reminded by a professional artist. 💪👾
Thank you very much🙂
Thank you for the usual tips. Can't wait to start utilizing this. Love your videos.
Thank you Palmer 🔥🔥
Thank you so much for this tip 🥰
the first time I learnt about blend modes, I went ham and used it on as many layers as I could :,) Seeing how you streamline your use of each mode is really helpful! It's defo something I need to practise and be more conscious of in my art.
Super cool that the video helped Zen, thank you for taking the time to tell me
you're just amazing. thank you.
I found out ur channel with the spider man video, and I loved the way u drew and especially coloured him. I saw ur tutorials and drawings but I got a little confused with ur colouring process. I struggled mainly at blend modes. Now that u have made this video, I feel more confident and excited to create a drawing! 😊
That is awesome Bleet😊 happy to hear that and I’m so glad that it was useful

Yo Tinois! happy to hear that man!
The video was very helpful in explaining the different modes. I never really understood them before, but this video made it more clear. I was wondering if you were still using the same blue color for the multiply, soften, etc or were you changing the colors for those effects? Thank you!
Thanks 😊 for thos video

Love the egg ! Going to work on my lil dinosaur egg 🥚🔥
haha that's great
haha it surprises me how many artists out there don't know the clipping tool... great tutorial buddy
Thank you very much men😁
Almost all the artist knows about the clipping tool except for those who just started doing digital arts and more of a newbies.
Hey fantastic channel here for digital artist. Still trying to get use to it and your videos are very detailed and easy to follow. Not sure yet if you have a video on coloring styles and techniques? I’m having issues learning ways to color on procreate coming from traditional color pencil and some marker on paper.
Here is link to one of the videos that might help you ua-cam.com/video/13CUb2deCmM/v-deo.html . I don’t have that specific video, but you can check some of my other videos like: How to paint skin.... they might be useful
lucas tell my dude where are u front? cus ur accent it feels like a hispanohablante y ademas en el video te preguntan en español de igual manera excelente video!
pd: i think that with this video i discovered America xd
Good
Tnx🙂
Hello Lucas , Very Nice video ! Y have a question , what brush or brushes do yo usually use to shade ? Thanks a lot :) Because when i shade with airbrushes i find the result kind of boring
Hey Bren, for this one, because it was a basic sphere I used mostly the airbrush, I understand that the result can be boring and very "digital", so for more complex things like portraits or actually anything else, I use a brush with a bit of texture. Mostly the LP Dynamic Pastel from my brushes
How do you know what colors to use for the shadows?
Very good tutorial, but without telling which colour choices you made for every layer and why, I can’t apply it to different paintings. ☹️
I find that shading and colouring my black and white drawings are too hard and spoil my drawings. Any advice?
I've downloaded the brush and got ttf but its empty in procrete
I always wonder: is there a way to mimic some of those in traditional painting? I always hesitate to use blend modes, because I always feel like I need to be able to pick the right colors "by hand", so that I'm also able to do it when I don't paint digitally .. this might be different for someone who is also perfectly capable of doing that, but for me (still learning to paint) I feel like I shouldn't use them for now .. I'd be very interested what your thoughts about that would be :)
Hey Arne, thanks for the question. For sure, this is a question that I have asked myself several times while learning color and values. My conclusion is that Painting with things like blending modes and filters and stuff like that will help you get results that may be out of your knowledge reach at the moment, but the good thing is that they give you some knowledge at the same time, you get better, just waaaaay slower than if you would pick colors by hand.
That's why I recommend doing plein air painting as much as possible. It is the fastest way to learn and improve your colors and values
I like your artwork try to autodesk sketchbook, drawings and character
Thank you, yeah sure thing. I used it already in my video: Best painting apps for the iPad😊
You seem to have replied to every comment. Nice.
I true to 😅
Ha lol I didnt actually think you’d reply 😆
I had no idea whats how they worked ,
I still don't know how to edit two layers at the same time
Hey Enos! hahaha well glad that the video helped to explain it. What do you mean edit them?
@@LucasPeinador when I transform on one layer the layers below are not affected
Lucas deberías poner subtitulos en español :'(
Perdona que no los pongo Satin, toma muchísimo tiempo traducir el vídeo y escribir todo lo que digo... si el canal sigue creciendo tal vez puedo contratar a alguien que traduzca :)
