Are you kidding? I am a Syrian Jew. We fled persecution in the region and we have a community that is almost 500,000 people strong.

I'm Syrian. I guess that it would be hard for jews to live here anymore since we have a lot of Palestinian refugees and our Alawite-controlled regime of Al Assad is investing in the anti-Israel sentiment of the majority of Syrians to stay in power. That means it's going to be much complicated for Jews to stay. I wish I can live freely here since I'm a gay agnostic but hoefully after tyranny we'll discuss these issues.

@Bintshovel She saved them! Who can live in a society where your neighbors look at you as an enemy just because of your identity!

this was a crime not a rescue!! detaching a huge community from their homeland with a better-life promisses any syrian would accept that back then!!. i am not denying the fact that they suffered a lot from the syrian-israeli conflict but they will over pass it cuz they are Syrians .. ps: still few hundred lives in Syria the land of tolerance and coexistence since the early dawn , political propagandas been trying to change this fact since ages!

They weren't "detached". They ran for their lives. It was HELL for them. They were being closely watched by military police, weren't allowed to move more than 3km away from their houses and they needed a police VISA (!!!!) to travel between Aleppo, Damascus & Qamshili!! Thank Gd they left before ISIS arrived. They would have been massacred... like the Yazidi.
So much for tolerance and co-existence in Syria

@DivyaPreity4ever what?! i never said you hate Arabs but i though your kurd and most kurds are Muslims and they dont like arabs. yes i know about Jordan's history but still that does not give Israel the power to do all those crimes with the Palestinians, religion, history and politics tells you to kill but a crime is still crime no matter what gives you permission to do it, its still murder. . .

@syriandruze you only know what you are told, and that is not always true.
Come and ask Israeli Druze how life REALLY is in Israel, why they are great soldiers in the IDF and if they EVER witnessed ONE of those so-called "crimes" that Israel-haters love to talk about
