As a 70 year old Ashkenazi male, I have never heard Sephardic or Ladino Jewish music until recently. I LOVE it! It takes me to the Mediterranean and the Middle East from my own living room. The kinship, and hardship, of the Jewish, Muslim, and Roma peoples are experiences that can be conveyed to the rest of the world in our music.
