Well, this match was interesting within these 4:52. How long does a match last?
So what happened during the rest of this match?
You like it and that´s 200% OK, but I still think it is boring.
      So is Basketball.
Basketball is interesting to watch within the last 4-5 minutes of a match, the rest is a too long and boring foreplay!

I know this is late, but I think that was the best part about this game. Everyone knew either the longest championship drought in sports or the 2nd longest World Series drought was going to end that night. We were going to witness history in the making regardless of who won. The fact it was also an instant classic game made it even more legendary. I’m not a fan of the Cubs or the Indians, but I was rooting for the Cubs to end their 108 year curse and I remember being so excited on that final out, I can’t imagine how great it must have felt as a Cubs fan.

Good Lord, I'm sitting here at 1 in the morning just remembering all of this. Sitting on the couch in my lucky shirt, me and my dad with our hands switching between our mouths and the top of our heads, dreading everything. My 51 year old dad, who has lived in Chicago most of his life, one of the most devoted fans I have ever had the pleasure to know, thinking that his Cubbies may finally win it all. My phone, which is usually buzzing with text and messages, was dead silent. Everybody I knew was glued to their screens, praying that today would be the day. Even now, a year and a half later, I watch and feel the exact same emotions I felt that November night: Hopeful, Ecstatic, Safe, Nervous, Terrified, and Triumphant. I know that for the rest of my life, every time I rewatch that final out, chills will run down my body like ice water and my mouth will stretch into the biggest possible grin as I hear Joe Buck say, "Here's the 0-1. This is gonna be a tough play. Bryant. The Cubs, WIN THE WORLD SERIES!"

Everyone gets their ups - cause its essentially a contest between a guy with a bat and a guy with the ball. In like manner, no one should play baseball who cannot take the heat on the mound and deliver a decent inning. Then the pitch command factor takes its rightful place. Who likes to watch a little league game where a kid with no little or no control loads the bags and walks in a dozen runs. How do you think that kid feels even if his mom/dad is the coach? How about the rest of the team? It all starts at the sandlot. Every player should toss 10,000 with a parent. Get a feel for the release point - go a simulated inning with no walks... Now, you got 12 little league arms ready to deliver with the bat or the ball - you got game - you got romance - not a popularity contest with a few hard throwing "wild things".@@jlop6822

I'm a diehard indians fan, and still watch this. What a ride that year was. So many injuries and such an improbable dominant run in the AL, to somehow going up 3-1 against the best team baseball had seen in a while, to losing a heartbreaker in game 5, and then getting dominated in game 6 and 7, but somehow...Rajai Davis, who in his 11 years only had 55 home runs total in his career, hits one of the most clutch home run in history, hands down- the most iconic Cleveland Indians home run. That emotion I get from that home run everytime, is something I'm grateful for. I just wish that feeling could've been what the Cubs fan feel watching the final outcome of this amazing series. It's been 2 years, but this game gives me joy, goosebumps, and a depressed exhale of how close we were and how hard we fought. Hats off to the Cubs. I'll never forget this series for the rest of my life.
To think how this was ONLY 2 years ago. What's sad is how great the cubs and indians were, but the Red Sox, Yankees and Astros have ALREADY made teams that are WAY BETTER than both.......
And that's why this loss hurts so much more.
PS. That rain delay still haunts me. IT DIDN'T EVEN RAIN. and to cubs fans who think its an excuse we use... "Rizzo called the rain delay 'the most important thing to happen to the Chicago Cubs in the past 100 years. I don't think there's any way we win the game without it.' " (Source: Wikipedia)

One of the best games in modern baseball. I remember being center deep in the crowd outside of Wrigley Field in the 7th inning thinking it was only a matter of time. We watched that scoreboard go to 6-6 and watched the game on someone who was streaming it on their balcony. Made it to a bar for extra innings. The bar went batshit crazy on the final out. What's really impressive is how many different Cubs players contributed in this last game. I think Kris Bryant was the only player mentioned more than once. A true team effort.

Best game7 hands down in MLB history. Both teams looking to end a drought cubs come back from 3-1 Indians fighting back in game 7 cubs answer Davis ties the game in 8th off the hardest throwing pitcher n the game cubs take back lead Davis fights again to a 1 run game last out with runner in scoring position. You just can't get better than that unless tribe hit a walk off hr in the bottom of ninth to screw the cubs. Epic series
