23:27 I remember these when I was growing up in the early 90's. Can't remember if it was marketed as a Tercel or a Corolla but they were pretty decent for what they were. Definitely gave the 80's gen Subaru's a run for their money.
Good stuff, Spencer! I'm diggin' that Forester STi at 21:34 .👍😎 I hope the family is doing well. Look forward to seeing you back in SC in the near future. Cheers, bro.
You could not be more wrong about the SUV/Truck market here in the states. ESPECIALLY old Land Cruisers (FJ60/62s sell for $25-30k here in Seattle all day long). My neighbor across the street just got a sweet early 90s 4WD Toyota van for around $11-12k and of course Delicas are a rare exotic sight along with the kei trucks for in-town driving. The market hasn’t really developed around here for the Chaser/Soarer/X-Chassis (yet) but I’m sure it will be blowing up very soon. Seattle is a VERY promising market for JDM imports, especially anything 4WD w/diesel. I had one of those 4WD Toyota Tercels (the Carib you looked at). It was a very high-quality-built car but the deal breaker was the 60 or so hp 3-AC engine. 1452cc of pure nothing doing. I killed 2 of those gutless mills until my mom had pity on me and sold me her 3-yr-old Outback, which felt like a space ship compared to the Tercel on my trip back to school. The Tercel 4WDs are longitudinally mounted so you could do an easy engine swap considering it was (mine was an ‘87 model) carbureted. Cheers and good luck in the import biz!
That was me talking about the Type X Tail Lights. In Australia we where only allowed to Import the Later model Type X 180's with the Twin late model tail lights. So as far as i knew, if it didnt have those tail lights, it wasnt a Type X, as sooooo many cut and shut dodgy 180's claimed to be back in the day here in Australia. My bad Spencer
Oh, the little Toyota wagon, we had something similar in a 4wd Tercel wagon, people liked those. (I think they were all SR5 trim but I forget if they had a special name otherwise.)
I think there's a huge market for the low mile sedans/VIP cars. All of the LS400's in the states have either been beat on by teenagers or have 200k+ miles. Also anything AWD will sell in the PNW.
The hardtop on the Supra is what will help it sell the most. You're right that NA+Auto is the least valuable. I've had 3 Supras since 1999 and will always have one in my garage. My 1998 was just the feature/cover car for the Sept 2019 issue of DSport magazine. Maybe I'll have the R34 shipped to the Defend USA location and grab it from you there.
I almost see all your videos you live the dream of a jdm car lover man, I feel emotional when I see a blue FC3S in one of your videos, I own one a lot time ago, right now are very rare to find in good condition.
Roadsters will def make some sales. Like the Beat, and some of the "toaster" cars could make for good little hipster vehicles. Haha also, being in SC Look into 4X4 vehicles. Farm trucks are always needed.
It's crazy how these prices are skyrocketing at the moment. Not only of Skylines but even cool JDM cars in general. I hope the bubble will burst anytime soon though. Always dreamed of having an R32 which was quite affordable a couple of years ago.
Good detailer can fix the paint on the supra NP. I think you should send all the NA Auto Supras to the US. Dont be afraid of a honda or two. It's the only brand I'll buy. The land cruiser will sell here np. If it's cool, it's cool you know.
I think the market will be small for a gto or mr2. Even the roadster unless it will be sold for cheap under $7k. s14 looks like a good pick up my guess $13kish value.
11:47 JZX90 mmm the best. One day im gonna buy one of those, automatic. Just like the one i test drove in Virginia. Saving up for a house with a garage for my car, well for that jdm car of course.
Love the Red Supra N/A Automatic. There is a market for the N/A Supra. Plan on making a trip to your USA south Carolina Garage Defend. Keep us updated on where & when you open please.
Eh, I think 'roadsters' are still too common here to be worth anything special in the US. If the fastback coupes weren't super-rare I'd be interested in one of those, potentially, though.
Another awesome video and awesome cars that I think many of us drool over thinking about owning lol. Has the location of the US store been disclosed yet or are you guys still looking/deciding where to open up?
automatic & na supra is fine IMO as long as it's fairly easy too modify. (I mean its a supra ofc it will be fairly easy too work on with how the modding scene is for them.) & nothing is mechanically wrong with it, nor is it having some weakspots compared too the turbo 6 speed that will be expensive too fix, like say a weaker rear diff or something ?
wheels in your suitcases? it's doable but a major pita hauling around lots of suitcases or big boxes. I've brought back crankshafts and other parts but you have to be careful the parts aren't greasy or have gasoline or compressed gas in them. Airlines and tsa don't like flammable stuff on board airplanes. Shipping them back using japan post is really expensive, especially if its heavy.
@YourCarBro im looking at a 180sx and it would be an online site. I want a car that looks sexy that i can have in the states and can be modified and street legal. I have budgeted myself to about $12,000 if you have any tips i would be happy to hear them
Hi! What do you think a stock desent condition r34 gt-t or gt-r would cost in japan? *not rusty *No big body damage *un-tempered engine *auto or manual
You should stop by that luxurious part of the garage, no need to review any car just a glimpse of whats in their. We can call that segment"the forbidden garage" hahah Keep it up bruh
Why do so many cars end up at the auction? Especially the newer cars. Is it a bank taking a car back because owners cant afford them? I always wondered.
R32 gtsts you see around 15-22k in the usa, the cleaner ones being higher of course, personally that white one, maybe 17k? Looked really nice especially the trims and the no dash bubbles, however i personally wouldnt like the gauges in the dash. I Paid 23.5k for my 32 gtr thats in nice shape, so it all depends i guess.
You’re doing gods work sending these gems to the states, bring back jdm
23:27 I remember these when I was growing up in the early 90's. Can't remember if it was marketed as a Tercel or a Corolla but they were pretty decent for what they were. Definitely gave the 80's gen Subaru's a run for their money.
Do you take orders, I want that crappy R33 GTR in the video
The cars here are amazing! Any tuners that end up at the dealer auctions in America are usually either really messed up or broken.
Good stuff, Spencer! I'm diggin' that Forester STi at 21:34 .👍😎 I hope the family is doing well. Look forward to seeing you back in SC in the near future. Cheers, bro.

Sometimes ppl want the automatic cars for drag racing

Awesome content like always!
Patiently waiting for the full video of that white r34.
0:13 What’s that little red Mitsubishi that has an Evo-esque looking front end?
Probably a colt ralliart.

Nice video bro! That purple 180!!!!!!!
I almost see all your videos you live the dream of a jdm car lover man, I feel emotional when I see a blue FC3S in one of your videos, I own one a lot time ago, right now are very rare to find in good condition.
All the import cars is amazing, hopefully I want to get one, especially a Nissan Skyline R34, if you could, I gave you my address before in here.
I think that Toyota is a tercel 4WD pretty dope actually they have low and high gears like in off road trucks and such
That's it! In Australia fitted with a 4AC engine.
Roadsters will def make some sales. Like the Beat, and some of the "toaster" cars could make for good little hipster vehicles. Haha also, being in SC Look into 4X4 vehicles. Farm trucks are always needed.

3:54 exactly what I was thinkin too when i looked at the wheels lmao
Envy..
Full of envy. What a job u have!
Wish you good luck with your business venture.

That white 4x4 Toyota is a Tercel wagon really cool cars have been looking for a clean one for a while
300 for type x lights they go for 1500 easy in Australia /New Zealand
This is William Park of Burbank, the SUPRA is Sweet, too !!!!!!!!!
I think the market will be small for a gto or mr2. Even the roadster unless it will be sold for cheap under $7k.
s14 looks like a good pick up my guess $13kish value.
glad to hear your getting the USA shop going soon. will u be sourcing parts as well???????? i need a clutch master cylinder for a 97-2000 ctr
best auction videos -------the sunburst yellow roadster rules
Automatic N/A supra > no supra... Maybe LS swap it or RB swap just to hurt feelings.
Always nice and compact this auction hunting series. By the way the red rust free Supra may be a good choise for your new shop.
My heart stopped @ 24:51
25:00 that vspec 34gtr is Adam lzeds right?
11:47 JZX90 mmm the best. One day im gonna buy one of those, automatic. Just like the one i test drove in Virginia. Saving up for a house with a garage for my car, well for that jdm car of course.
Fct 8306 On Two Wheels if you’re going to spend that kind of money why would you get auto trans???
Oooh i love the zenki, i have always preferred it over the kouki even though the kouki is a lot more popular, it just looks soo good 🙌
I kinda go back and forth on which I like any given day, wouldn't mind either, really.
I want a custom Mini truck.....not the micro truck but a new airbags and body dropped. Can you please find one?
Love the Red Supra N/A Automatic. There is a market for the N/A Supra. Plan on making a trip to your USA south Carolina Garage Defend. Keep us updated on where & when you open please.
That Laurel has Hawaii safety inspection stickers. That's super interesting...
Do you see many Porsche 993 turbo go through the auctions? Looking for a right hand driver for HK
Fun fact: Black Laurel has Hawaii Safety Check Sticker on right rear bumper!
Id Be Happy With That Red Auto Supra!
That GTS would go for an easy 10-12k here in the states since it’s been turbod and has the rb25
R32's are soooo easy to manual convert. But I guess here in NZ we have a lot more RB vehicles and parts.
Where do you sell these vehicles? I would like to see your inventory
I thinking about buying a gtst coupe I live in Indiana. When are you open the us store!!!!
Eh, I think 'roadsters' are still too common here to be worth anything special in the US. If the fastback coupes weren't super-rare I'd be interested in one of those, potentially, though.
I agree... there's enough of them here already.
@@MasterD1279 Yeah, not that they're bad, we just have em. :)
The midnight purple 3 r34 gtr isn't as rare as the midnight purple 2? I figure it would definitely be allowed to show and display.
It seems like certain rhd cars sell ok in sc as long as they would be good for delivering mail. I know rhd Jeep Cherokees sell very quickly.
I had a man gasm over that Midnight Purple GTR... if you could have brought that to the UK I probably would have sold my soul to get it🤣
12:48 Hey Girl 😂😂😂
Another awesome video and awesome cars that I think many of us drool over thinking about owning lol. Has the location of the US store been disclosed yet or are you guys still looking/deciding where to open up?
Why don't you ever look at the Toyota caldinas there was one right next to the stagea?
automatic & na supra is fine IMO as long as it's fairly easy too modify. (I mean its a supra ofc it will be fairly easy too work on with how the modding scene is for them.)
& nothing is mechanically wrong with it, nor is it having some weakspots compared too the turbo 6 speed that will be expensive too fix, like say a weaker rear diff or something ?
What the auction site you use in Japan and are you going to set up a shop for importing car in Australia Brisbane
00:13 mini evo.
That car with the weird tail pipe action going on. Had a Hawaii safety check sticker on it
Wondering if you could help me find a Evo 6 at the auction
show him the $$$$$ first
That Toyota Carib looks kinda like the Tercel that we have in NA??
What did that 260RS go for? I’m moving to Okinawa in a few months and that’s the dream ride.
South Carolina is the absolute smartest place to set up shop.
South carolina Show zone shop is a ripped off, overpriced, not well trained mechs., serviced terible
So JDM cars have to be 25 years before they can be legal in USA? If i remember correctly i think it's 15 years for here in Canada.
Gt4 St205 is the best for the US market. People just don't know how hard to get your hands on one of those underrated cars.
As far as I know 180sx its one thing, and the type X model its a 180sx with extra bits that only came from 96 to 98
If you bring over jdm parts and wheels you will make some good money!
wheels in your suitcases? it's doable but a major pita hauling around lots of suitcases or big boxes. I've brought back crankshafts and other parts but you have to be careful the parts aren't greasy or have gasoline or compressed gas in them. Airlines and tsa don't like flammable stuff on board airplanes. Shipping them back using japan post is really expensive, especially if its heavy.
Take a look at Baltic Supra’s UA-cam site. He has the fastest A340 automatic Supra (7.3 1/4 mile)
@YourCarBro im looking at a 180sx and it would be an online site. I want a car that looks sexy that i can have in the states and can be modified and street legal. I have budgeted myself to about $12,000 if you have any tips i would be happy to hear them
I had a 91 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, whished I still had it cause they only shipped 2k to the US.
Evo fan right here........
Are there any MR2's for sale? Is there a website link for the auction?
Hi Spencer i saw an s13 a white two tone there next to the 180sx type x so how much are they going now ? Nice GTO is it a VR4 twin turbo?
Hi!
What do you think a stock desent condition r34 gt-t or gt-r would cost in japan?
*not rusty
*No big body damage
*un-tempered engine
*auto or manual

That midnight purple is so clean
Garage defend USA??? Hey Spencer are you guys opening a shop here in the USA? And where? Ok I got it South Carolina can't wait.
I would take an NA Supra with a good body. Yes, I vote to import a few. Some will not be afraid to do a swap.
All the mk3 supras please :) s14s and z32s are awesome i feel they will go up a lot they are very cheaply priced atm for what you get.
Enos roadster would be a great car to bring to the states!
I wonder how much a JDM civic would be 🤔
In japan they average around $18k-$15k
steven mena yen?
One thing is the auction price then what else to import it to the states ? what % are we looking at ? tax and so on ?
What website/area where you in? (Nur being the Nurenburg edition of the R34)
You should stop by that luxurious part of the garage, no need to review any car just a glimpse of whats in their. We can call that segment"the forbidden garage" hahah
Keep it up bruh
That is lovely Toyota back in the states that known as “Toyota Tercel SR5” made in 81-86. 23:25
I don't know where you are from but in Canada to its call like that
Such a shame the r34 gtr MNP3 is a R grade :(
Buy the green Lifted Delica for the U.S shop that would sell
That Red NSX is an ideal car here in the Philippines and it's left hand drive
I need to learn how to drive manual but I would ROCK that automatic Supra! screw what every one thinks LOL (Cool video)
Where your garage at in the US??
What's the name of your garage?
I see those skylines go for around 13k to 15k
$25000 in Australia , gtr $50000
Martin Blanco JDM in the US for 13-15k? Post a link please.
Why do so many cars end up at the auction? Especially the newer cars. Is it a bank taking a car back because owners cant afford them? I always wondered.
where is the website for garage defend usa? i just talked to someone there about a few i was interested in
What year was that awesome odyssey?
Any suggestion for big boys like me (6'6")?
I wonder how much the stageas go for in the US
I'm confused,,,, so did you get out the military and went back to japan to buy cars and them shipped?...
When is garage defend usa opening up?
Where you shop located at?
What you have in inventory?
R32 I'm asking how much to ship to whangarei new zealand
