That steering wheel is actually the factory steering wheel on the Evo. I believe the 7,8, and 9’s all came with that wheel

That turbo Mirage sounds like an Evo bc it has a detuned 4g63 in it! It's a wolf in sheep's clothing! That car has a lot of potential! Would be the perfect sleeper!
@yourcarbro I own a 350z. Great car to mess around with. It's very easy to fall in love with them especially after you drive them for awhile. I got to say the Z's are a pain to work on just because of engine bay having no room. but for 4k just to mess around? hell yeah, do it man.
Sell that delica. And buy that nice white landcruiser. Wayyyy better than that delica. Trust me landcruiser are way more tough and reliable bro. So many here in Australia. And that one at auctions is so tidy and collectable. Diesels go forever. Get it asap!

I visited Japan in the 90's and I was fascinated by their cars, bought some car magazines there and took some pictures. I remember Land Cruisers of different types and ages everywhere and people were putting low profile tires on wagons and mini vans (Accords, Estimas). I also remember the different names for the cars they sold in their market, fascinating.
Any crappy car in Japan is a hell of alot better than any car here in the U.S.
Love 8th gen civics, the Mugen RR is probably one of the best civics there is.

Are you guys good enough where I can buy a car less than 25 years old where you guys can ensure that it meets U.S. import laws in regards to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and DOT requirements??
I am unable to find an auction house that is willing to ship a car less than 25 years old.
Most only want to ship the ones 25 years old and older because its easier and exempted from the heavy requirements.
Let me know how far you will go.

The white mk4 is a rare tiptronic auto. So you can switch gears up/down with the buttons on the steering wheel.
I'm living in Japan and I'm thinking of buying an EK9 Type R. Right now they're at around 18-20k for a high mileage one. 25k for a decent one. Thinking hard about it. Prices are going up.
350z for 4k is a pretty good range, 350s still sell for more than double that where im from
wow! Here in the Philippines those Mirage Cyborgs are called Lancer “singkit” which means slanted eyes, because of their headlight shapes. They we’re very popular here, rarely seen nowadays.

Business Suggestion . Look in importing to Japan some old American Boat cars and Vans. The low rider culture might work for starter cars. Just a suggestion.

As an Old Man I would be concerned about getting parts ( various light bulbs, starter, alternator, shocks, brake calipers, and so on ) or being able to cross reference a car that was originally Legal for the States when new . I just don't want to bleed like a Mercedes owner does.

You know, I dunno about kei *cars,* ...they're cute and all, but worth importing and registering over here? I dunno, maybe if they were cheap to ship. Practical kei *trucks* on the other hand, with the bed you can open at any and all sides, those little things look crazy-useful and it seems people love slamming and body-kitting the things on all the youtube shows. If we didn't have a Gator here, I'd be particularly envious just for around our property here, particularly if there's 4wd ones with yer basic commercial setup.
Also, green 86's, now I'm hoping we get those over here. :)
