The hypa wavetable is basically an analog emulating saw which thanks to the curve makes it a bit more warm and not as harsh with the high end as with the basic serum saw. If you look at it in a spectrum it should have a slight lowcut in the high end! Makes it a lot smoother and warm. Personally tho i prefer the juno saw in serum which is also a curved saw!
Thanks Tom - these tutorials are fantastic. I also purchased the deep house/future house presets a few weeks ago .. absolutely great and very good value. Just wish I'd waited for the megapack.
Tnx for the very good tutorial, but how u process sound to stay more present on mono? With suoersaw the problem i have is just too much open in stereo spectre... Any suggest?
any producer who doesn't really know sound design knows that a super saw isn't as easy as people think lol. "just use 2 saws with 16 voice each and detune em" yeah no
exactly. and a beautiful warm, lush, supersaw is one of the most amazing sounds you could ever hear. but if its not done right, its just some harsh nastyness that goes straight in the trash for me.
hi dude, i know this is an old vid but i only recently got serum. can you please explain to me what you did at 7:36 after putting the envelope 1 into the cutoff. the one which you chopped the automation in half or something because when i do it, it just divides equally
Might be a little late by now, but if you go into the matrix tab, there should be a column labelled Type, you can choose if you the modulation symmetrical or asymmetrical by clicking on the little arrow
Hey Tom, was wondering what the melody is from. It's right on the tip of my tongue but I can't place it and it's driving me crazy. Great tutorial, love your channel!
Hey man, does serum have a "spread" function like in Massive, for making the sound wider? I know you can pan the oscillators, but can you pan the individual voices? Thanks!
I dont understand why I cant hear the difference between no hyper Dimension and with it... Maybe my room is not quiet enough? I only hear a very slight difference that if I were making the sound myself, I would have added WAY too much of the effect. I closed my eyes and listened to the difference and I honestly couldn't notice any change in sound
Mate, some good info here but you need to edit your videos and cut out all the umming, ahhing, repetition of topic introductions, etc. Get to the point, young man. But yeah, useful stuff, regardless.

+Subway DJ Hey! In Serum the voices of Unison are actually spread by default :) You can adjust this in the global settings tab under unison spread.
Whoa! Good to know man, cheers :)
Is there a way to get the names of the presets in each pack?
Thank you :D
thsnks
Looking for a supersaw just like habstrakt & megalodon - revenge and I’ve just found it

you are right, it's not adding much to the already heavy unison.
how did he make the outer blue circle shift to the right side at 7:40?
You need to drag the ENV3 to the circle.
You can push the knob all the way down and then put it and it will apply it only to 1 side :D
There is a hotkey but i forgot it.
Is it considered cheating if we make a sound with you and edit to the way we like and make a pack and sell it?
It was stupid just asking
ThIs Is WhAt We HaVe NoW

2 octaves apart?... 0 + 1 = 1 ...hahaha, just given ya shit.

If you looked at the upload date or watched any recent videos you'd see that this is 5 years old and my videos are now scripted and heavily edited.
