I realized one thing. When debade is abortion, they say "no uturus no opinion." So basicaly that uturus makes a woman. But as soon as the debate is bathrooms, suddenly you dont need a uturus to be a woman.
Not exactly. There is a logic there. They don't say that makes you a woman. It just means that abortion is only relevant to people who have uteruses. They may be any gender they want to be. It's a stupid opinion which totally ignores the basic principle that pro life arguments are based on (that if a fetus is a living human one has a moral obligation to stand to for their right to live, and not just say "well I believe it's murder but we need to let each individual decide whether it's a human life inside them or not"), but it's not illogical. They didn't say "only women can have an opinion and women have a uterus". In fact that's _why_ they said "people with a uterus" instead of "women".
The other thing to realize is that according to a liberal judge you need to be a biologist to actually know what is a woman. Unfortunately not many of these clowns are biologists.
Notice how they never mention the cast members that support her. Ironically the "villain" and crazy person, Malfoy and Luna showing their goodness and sanity.

@@ravens-crypt There’s being entitled to an opinion, and there’s throwing your creator under the bus, disrespecting her and denouncing her for clout; as well as thinking you have the right to consent on behalf of all women to open the doors of our private spaces to perverts, and making a documentary encouraging children as young as 11 to take dangerous drugs and potentially chop body parts off. Which righteous actor has shone a light on that side of the aisle again? Oh right, none of them.

We must remember that Rowling was the first billionaire to become a millionaire by donating her money. Imagine the good press if we lived in a sensible world.
But she committed the cardinal sin of only agreeing with 95% of the woke agenda and daring to think for herself when it came to the other 5%. The Left CANNOT abide women or PoC who try to have their own opinions about things...

It's insane how hard the media has tried to villainize her.

@@tomkerruish2982He didn't have to make the movies, just bless off on them. And honestly Lucas isn't that great at making movies himself, he was always better at raw ideas and letting his crew take it from there.
@RCAvhstape Fair enough. I honestly don't know how involved he was, other than obviously a whole lot with the first one. One thing about both of them: they made crazy money off merchandising, which no one had before, and contracts are forever written differently afterward as a result.
@@tomkerruish2982 Yeah, true. For the first Star Wars film (Ep IV) he directed it but his then-wife Marcia did the editing, which saved it, according to those who saw the firs edit. For Empire Strikes Back he was out with a heart problem and aside from the story had minimal involvement in making the film, which is considered the best of them all. ROTJ saw him more involved, and it was decent, but we also got annoying Ewoks, which were a warning of things to come.
Lucas regreted sell Star Wars, but he had a good reasons to do so and one of them was precisely to prove how soulless companies like Disney will never be able to produce something magical as Star Wars in the first place.

Funny how the entire story line body of Harry Potter is the ministry forcing others who know better to speak untruths because they are to scared to do the same. When Voldemort returns anyone who says so is cast out of power and ostracized. One of the sharpest moments in the book is when Harry is forced by Umbridge to scratch, ‘I must not tell lie’s’ into his hand when trying to speak up. Rowling is a feminist who spoke up for women and has been given the very treatment her book talked about.

What do you mean by "super Woke"? Woke seems to be used specifically to refer to queer theory (and its particular application to transgender people) and critical race theory. And maybe over the last year or so to opposition to Israel. But I don't recall Rowling saying much, if anything, about those issues.

This isn't like Rings of Power where one rogue, idiot Tolkien sold the family jewels (I think the going rate is 30 silver things). Joanne Rowling owns her invention outright, is a billionaire, but is, above all, brighter, tougher and more courageous than all these morons put together. She will prevail, which means everyone will prevail - especially women and children. And I am very OK with that!

Just don't forget that J.K Rowling still worships at the church of DEI. The fact that she went against the woke crowd on one single issue doesn't mean she's not a member of the cult. It just means on that 1 particular issue she had enough common sense to not argue with basic biology. So no, I'm not at all optimistic about a new Harry Potter show with J.K at its helm, I suspect it will still heavily feature DEI and make Harry Potter the new Luke Skywalker, Witcher, etc, making it the Hermione show rather than Harry Potter. I wouldn't at all be surprised with some race swaps at the very least if not sex swaps too, though that's more unlikely considering the trans elephant in the room. Basically at this point I have 0% trust in any new project coming out of Hollywood, no matter who is at its helm. It's up to every new Hollywood project to prove that it put DEI behind and returned to actually being entertainment. If the new Harry Potter series will do that I will be very glad and wholeheartedly support it. However being optimistic that this will actually happen? No, just no... I've been burned way too many times for far too long to have any trust in anything coming out of Hollywood. Hollywood lost the fans' trust, they now need to work very hard to regain it. Rome wasn't built in a day but it was burned in one. That is to say it's much harder to gain trust than lose it, and Hollywood lost all trust(and good will) from the fans a long, long, long, time ago so now they must climb an extremely steep hill to get it back. The age of automatic trust, or blind faith if you will, is long gone.
Reminds me of when rich people only wanted the money. Now they want your kids and your soul. They want to send your son home in a dress and DARE you to not like it. I never thought I’d look back on those old days as good times.
And that's what, racist or something? It's set in the UK, she wanted genuine accents from the actors, not some crappy imitation, and she probably wanted to make sure some British actors got a chance to get starring roles and help their career, since they always have a more difficult time than American actors do. The UK film industry is tiny and poor compared to Hollywood, why would she not want to use her one opportunity to make a big film to help out her own fellow subjects? I can only assume that you never complain at all about characters being race swapped, since you seem to think it's so objectionable that she would want British people to play British people. How dare she? That's like saying white people should play white characters (obviously black people need to play black characters, that can't even be questioned). It's not "exclusionary" to be selective over the casting for one specific project. Now if her general principle was that only British actors should be allowed to act in any film, or that Americans can never under and circumstances play a British subject, that would be exclusionary.
I’m not interested in race swaps nor gender swaps nor dei for the Harry Potter tv series which btw we don’t need because we already have 8 movies and it’s way too soon to reboot.
Yup. JK’s anti-trans stance comes from a feminist perspective. If it were women encroaching on men’s stuff she would not have a problem with it from what I can tell.

Seriously. Everything about their ethos is anti-human, to the point of denying the baseline realities of human existence. It's the IRL anti-life equation.
I don't think that's true if your are including all trans people, it's the activists, including the ones who aren't actually in that group, who are the problem. We always had some dudes who liked to live as women, that wasn't really a problem, no one cared. I even see a fair number of them who are furious at the LGBT movement for stirring up this whole crusade and making them a big issue, they weren't demanding to use women's bathrooms (or they just quietly used them and probably most people never said anything because they didn't notice and it wasn't hurting anyone, and what are you going to do, stop and accost that manly looking woman and force her to prove she's really a female before she can go take a leak?) They just decided all of a sudden that trans was the new champion of the day and that everything trans was good and right and must be defended to the last. It was like literally over a year or so, we went from never talking about it to it being the new crusade for social justice, no debate or discussion, they just decided trans everything was good and right and society _will_ accept all of it, or else. And then tons of people started jumping on the nonbinary and trans bandwagon because it was an easy way to get attention and to gain instant victim cred. You don't have to be a mere white person, you can be _trans_ or LGBT kids, and see how you will be praised and petted and how much attention you will get. I don't blame the ones who were just quietly living their lives so much. They are humans like anyone else, whatever issues they have.
I honestly don't think there's going to be any pallet swaps for the main characters. I think she's going to keep them white just to stick it to Radcliff and Watson.
Just think about those book sales. Those books have been out for DECADES! There are piles of them in every used book store! Sitting on shelves in every library! In many classrooms! Yet they still sell that well!
They’re going to make British boarding school reflect “modern diverse Britain” - that’s before we get to the casting. Hopes are through the floor; happy to be surprised but at this point, the onus is on the industry to prove us wrong!
Why would they need to race or gender swap anyone in that story the first place ? There are *already* characters of various ethnicities and badass girls / women in the books to start with. It wouldn't make much sense. Rowling has complete creative control, owns the franchise and has FU money. I don't think she'll accept any tempering with her story or cheap fanfic tokenism dropped onto her characters.
Bi-curious wine aunties 100% exist. The access media just miscalculated by thinking they could talk wine aunties into actually *supporting* stuff other than solipsistic melodramas regarding other wine aunties ("OnE wOmAn'S jOuRnEy~").
I just keep asking myself how many more billions do they have to lose to change course? You'd think after the Ghostbusters 2016 or Charlie's angels reboot they would have course corrected, but here we are with Netflix making a documentary with cleopatra (inbred Macedonian Greek "colonizer) being portrayed as black.

They are usually just happy to have an ally on that particular issue the even if you don't see eye to eye on others.
Not only do I love the Harry Potter series, I love that JK Rowling says what she believes in. She has that right just like the rest of us. If the show is faithful to the characters & the books, I'm in 100%!
While Rowling has some sense when it comes to trans issues, she's still a radical feminist and leftist activist. Don't forget that she said that Hermione (who was described as white and pale in the books) was always intended to be black. She just so happened to say this around the time when racial representation became a big deal among the left. That's why the play, the Cursed Child, cast a black woman to play Hermione- on Rowling's orders. The same thing with her saying Dumbledore is gay- not necessary, no indication in the books or movies, but she wanted to virtue signal.
To be fair she didn’t say Hermione was meant to be black, she tried to play both sides and say she never stated Hermione’s race. I still think she was dumb for that. Should’ve just said Hermione was white but didn’t mind Hermione being black in the stage play

This is how everything should be. Author should have complete control of everything. No all of "yew, we know better than autor." Author knows the best, he just allowed you to enjoy his world by putting it on paper for you to read (if you know how to read, and judging by USA school results there aren't many kids that know 😂)
Not necessarily. A good author doesn't necessarily know how to make a good movie. I don't like to see them taken totally out of the decision making, but they don't always need full authority to run it how they want. And they are free to not sign that contract if they don't like the terms. If they are willing to sell the rights of their story away for millions of dollars in exchange for relinquishing their creative rights, that's their problem. Don't sell out if you don't like it. If it bothers you then don't buy the product. But good luck getting others to join you. They aren't just going to pass a law requiring all studios to let authors have control no matter how much they paid for the creative rights.
@justforever96 I think you know exactly what I was referring to. And we see time and time again that those who think that they know better than the author are more often than not barely capable of passing the high school level of IQ tests. I am not talking about all and everything. Of course there will be compromises when something changes mediums, that is completely normal, but when they actively try to change everything that is put in the written story, it is a problem. There are rare cases where you can see from the start what is happening (like Acolyte). But a good author will recognize when something needs to be "let go of", but that something is never a character. Today, they would try to say that Harry has an agenda against fat and skinny people because of what happened at the beginning of the first book. And that it was justified that he was locked under the stairs because wizards are very dangerous.
It was Radcliffe and Watson that called out JK and not Grint. Grint was on a talk show and said that JK can have her own opinion on what she tweets and that doesn't change his mind about her to him she is still his auntie JK
I read those books to my niece as they came out. I believe she has a complete collection of first printings as a result. We bonded and she learned English extremely well. By the time she got to school she had a better command of the language than anyone. And we have great memories.
You can hate Rowling if you're so inclined, but she definitely does one thing a lot of these woke clowns don't. She sticks to her guns on her beliefs, and just on a human level you kinda have to admire that willingness to tell the world to shove it.

Book readers know that the movies covered a very low percentage of the events that occurred in the books. I encourage people to watch the show because you will be surprised at how different it is from the film series and how much they left out. I was kinda over franchises being rebooted but the left’s disdain of Rowling has made me excited to tune in! I can’t wait for Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson to see themselves REPLACED.
This is very true. I remember in Order of the Phoenix, like 15 minutes in we were already more than 2/3 of the way through the book. It's unfair to expect a movie to be able to cover all of the information in the book... but a series? Hell yeah.
I don't even like Harry Potter like that but the rediculous Hypocrisy or leftests over her factual comment even though she is basically a feminist leftest is hilarious.
Hilarious that Mugglenet & the Leaky Cauldron have "distanced" themselves from Rowling. There were 3 Fantastic Beast movies, but the trilogy steadily dropped off on viewership from movie to movie. @@blankadams3120 Which is a fair take. The latter two "fantastic beasts" films don't even have the so-called fantastic beasts. Honestly I was hoping it would be animated when I first heard the Harry Potter series was getting a reboot so soon. It would have avoided quite a few casting landmines (which I'm guessing are coming) and it could have avoided the problem of the actors growing up too much for their roles in between seasons.
Simple, she is the author and doesn't want to lose control of her (and I stress, HER) creation. And he does very well, considering that those who are no longer alive (see Tolkien and his son Christopher) can no longer do so.
I liked “Harry Potter” better the first time , when it was called “books of magic” Really want to see where this new take goes. I didn’t really watch the movies or read the books, so kinda looking forward to this new series.
kind of a bummer about Rupert Grint. A friend of mine was a family member of his so we got to meet him a couple of times. He seemed pretty based back then but that was 15 years ago. He shared how he and Radcliffe would make fun of Emma because her on screen persona was so close to her off screen one. But hey, people change or certain influences can compel people to do or say things.
Im looking forward to the show because all these companies are FINALLY not afraid to throw the DEI money away. They will make money by appeasing to us, sane people.
I really don't get these activists. Just because the material speaks to your "otherness" it validates whatever that "otherness" is. And if you're looking for validation in a book or movie that means your family and friends have failed you, or maybe it boils down to one thing - you're just too stubborn to conform. Cheers to you, then, live and let live. And if that is true then guess what, JK Rowling doesn't have to conform to your world view, too. So do the other consumers who have their own reasons to support Harry Potter. Instead of focusing on differences, there is a lot more room to focus on commonalities.
The show will still be woke - arbitrary raceswapping, gay characters for no good reason aside from diversity points etc, but the transmission aspect will be missing, which is at least 1 thing in its favor.
I have been a huge fan of the Harry Potter novels since back when only two of them were even out. I've read them more times than i can count. And while i definitely applaud JK Rowling's devotion to the rights of women and children, she is still "woke" as all hell in regards to pretty much anything and everything else. I really hope the new show is good and sticks with the themes and characters of the books, but i won't be surprised at all if the show comes with a bunch of anti white race swapping, a bunch of characters being Dumbledore'd (made gay after the fact for no reason but virtue signaling), and a bunch of "modern day isms". I wouldn't be surprised but i would be VERY disappointed.
I've been an HP fan for 15 years. Even when I disagreed with just about everything Rowling espoused politically. Just because I agree with her on 1 issue doesn't mean I don't know that she's still a radical feminist and leftist.
I know a guy that says he hates Rowling because of her "harmful beliefs". I once asked him "do you know what she actually said" and he literally answered "no but I do have trans friends who say it's bad and hateful, and I don't wanna talk about it"
I had a friend who used to say that, and I made him read the blog post she wrote. For about a year he started saying he supports her view and found it normal and reasonable... but lately it's slipped back into "everyone I know hates her therefore I hate her too".

In fact that's _why_ they said "people with a uterus" instead of "women".
hahaha so true!
They push for truth to be "relative" only so that they cant be called out when they contradict their own faulty logic
This just in: people with no principles don't apply their own arguments consistently.

ROTJ saw him more involved, and it was decent, but we also got annoying Ewoks, which were a warning of things to come.

JK Rowling refused to have American actors in the original movies... Openly not inclusive, boy I miss the good Ol days.
@OOL-UV2 well it's always getting worse all the time... in 20 years they'll look back on today as the good ol days.

Author knows the best, he just allowed you to enjoy his world by putting it on paper for you to read (if you know how to read, and judging by USA school results there aren't many kids that know 😂)
Not necessarily.
@@justforever96 Agreed. They should have some say in things, but not to a huge extent. Bug different between whats on paper and whats on screen.
Hogwarts is a school for Wizards not Fairies!
My Mums (Her Grandmother), would then have tea and they would watch Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances.
'For women' - precisely. Thank you for putting them right each time.
I'd honestly like to see an adult Harry Potter story where the villain(s) were intelligent and knew how to cast more than 3 spells.
JK made Dumbledore gay and wasn't brave enough to admit Hermione is white. She drew the line on the trans, but she's far more woke leaning than conservative. Rowling is not one of you, you're going to be disappointed.
Hogwilds school of gizzards. Let’s not forget HBOs sequels to GOT, season 8 and House of the Dragqueens.
"... her views aren't controversial at all, and it hasn't hurt the Harry Potter franchise in the least bit."
❤❤❤ Loved this episode!
Nice to see a channel that's going to display a rational take on the issue. I commented that Dumbledore wasn't you know on a popular Harry Potter channel and the host decided to call me a home a phobia. Another time the same host on a different channel said the proof was another comment I made where I basically said you can't alter that XY or XX
Let's see if UA-cam deletes this one.
if you mean altering genes we cant do that yet in any sort of massive capacity in an adult human. we could alter the genes of eggs but that opens moral, political, religious cans of worms.
funfact we technically can but not in any sort of capacity to make a difference.
By still making money from continuing to report on Potter news & also using titles connected to things in the books. They should've shut down or completely rebranded. But then they wouldn't still have the cachet that they have.
"One of the culture's most contentious social issues." Correction: one of weirdo entertainment media's most manufactured fake issues. 100% of normal people agree with Rawling that Harry P. Ness shouldn't be on their daughters' swim team.
I love how they have to start the article saying that Eddie Redmayne is a Harry Potter star... and I keep going, "Okay, who was he, then?" Oh, right, Newt Scamander, in the spin off series that got two movies? Yup, real weight behind his role.
Exactly. Who?
There were 3 Fantastic Beast movies, but the trilogy steadily dropped off on viewership from movie to movie.
Even as a Harry Potter fan that has seen all 3 Fantastic Beast films, they slowly jumped the shark due to not understanding how to write a compelling story that wasn't just ripping off the war against Voldemort.
@@ShaggyRogers1 I watched none of them, they just... didn't catch my interest. So, oops, my mistake.
@@blankadams3120 Which is a fair take. The latter two "fantastic beasts" films don't even have the so-called fantastic beasts. They were really a Dumbledore back story set of movies, and even then were pretty bad.
Retconning Dumbledore into having a second brother who is supposed to effectively be magic Jesus was lame. Having the next magical dictator being chosen by a deer just threw all logic out of the window.
Thank goodness Rowling can wipe her tears with her billions.
Gary used to own a comic shop
imagine how much better our entertainment options would be if people didn't constantly feel the need to politicize everything.
It’s a beutiful thing to see someone literally too rich, and too in demand to cancel, and with common sense anti work views.
Nothing can hurt her. She has nothing to lose. And she’s only getting more rich and more in demand as time goes on.
Ryan Reynolds will be cast as Moana in the live action adaptation of Moana.
I kinda wish the upcoming series is animated. It could be like ATLA.
Honestly I was hoping it would be animated when I first heard the Harry Potter series was getting a reboot so soon. It would have avoided quite a few casting landmines (which I'm guessing are coming) and it could have avoided the problem of the actors growing up too much for their roles in between seasons.
@ agreed 🙌 I also think we need more animated Tolkien stuff or even an animated Narnia series.
i wish more people were sane
Very good ! ✨Bravo Nerdrotic!
Simple, she is the author and doesn't want to lose control of her (and I stress, HER) creation. And he does very well, considering that those who are no longer alive (see Tolkien and his son Christopher) can no longer do so.
I have troon fatigue.
im on the rainbow and I have it as well. Whenever i see somone with that kind of content I leave them unread.
I liked “Harry Potter” better the first time , when it was called “books of magic”
Really want to see where this new take goes. I didn’t really watch the movies or read the books, so kinda looking forward to this new series.
That intro...also used the music that plays when Tonks comes to your office in that Germione game. If you know, you know.
Strong, self made woman who isn’t being corrupted..
Should be supporting her, even if the opinions differ
"The Leaky Cauldron" mentioned in a video about automatic/manual transmissions.
The jokes just write themselves.
kind of a bummer about Rupert Grint.
Love that she doubled down on
I have been trying (and miserably failing) not to get excited about this show, but the news look promising. I hope they dont disappoint.
The media and leftist meltdown is glorious
I dont know about you guys, but I am absolutely STOKED for the Eragon series that Author Christopher Paulini is working on!
You deserve so many more subs!
