I realized one thing. When debade is abortion, they say "no uturus no opinion." So basicaly that uturus makes a woman. But as soon as the debate is bathrooms, suddenly you dont need a uturus to be a woman.
Not exactly. There is a logic there. They don't say that makes you a woman. It just means that abortion is only relevant to people who have uteruses. They may be any gender they want to be. It's a stupid opinion which totally ignores the basic principle that pro life arguments are based on (that if a fetus is a living human one has a moral obligation to stand to for their right to live, and not just say "well I believe it's murder but we need to let each individual decide whether it's a human life inside them or not"), but it's not illogical. They didn't say "only women can have an opinion and women have a uterus". In fact that's _why_ they said "people with a uterus" instead of "women".
The other thing to realize is that according to a liberal judge you need to be a biologist to actually know what is a woman. Unfortunately not many of these clowns are biologists.
I started reading Harry Potter when it first came out. I was twelve years old, so I literally grew up reading these books. To hear some of these so-called fans describe what they believe to be the main themes of the series often leaves me wondering if we read the same books. The books are about the power of love & the triumph of good over evil when ordinary people are willing to risk everything to fight for freedom against tyranny. I'm not sure where they're getting the idea that it's about what they have decided is "self-acceptance".
It's called self-insertion. They want all shows, games, books, etc. to be about THEM, and their particular mental and personal issues, not about what they actually are.
The whole series is about the mental breakdown of an abused boy who gets involuntarily committed and the magical place he escapes to as a defense mechanism.
Daniel Radcliff's most meaningful role after HP = a literal lifeless cadaver. Emma Watson's biggest part after = ??? (Same for the entire rest of the surviving cast.)

No one should change their entire life and the fabric of society for the .001% of people that need mental help. Good on JK and good on WB for backing her up. Real Women’s rights and health is more important than the feelings of the mentally unstable.
Funny how the entire story line body of Harry Potter is the ministry forcing others who know better to speak untruths because they are to scared to do the same. Hi! I'm from Lithuania, and in Lithuanian, Harry Potter is translated as "Haris Poteris". Interestingly, the word for "woman" in Lithuanian is "moteris". Just one letter changes "Poteris" to "moteris"! Because of this, the beginning of this video could sound hilariously different in Lithuanian. :D
I know a guy that says he hates Rowling because of her "harmful beliefs". I once asked him "do you know what she actually said" and he literally answered "no but I do have trans friends who say it's bad and hateful, and I don't wanna talk about it"
I had a friend who used to say that, and I made him read the blog post she wrote. For about a year he started saying he supports her view and found it normal and reasonable... but lately it's slipped back into "everyone I know hates her therefore I hate her too".
I absolutely love asking, “why do you hate them?”, or, “what statement of their’s do you disagree with?” any time someone says that they hate JK Rowling, Joe Rogan, or Gina Carano. There are a lot of people out there, like myself, who enjoy Rowlings' books and movies, but don't consider themselves part of that "community". Harry Potter is a classic now, you can't cancel it anymore. Kids read it at school these days, because it's well written and entertaining, granma watches the movies every year. The audience is just normal people who want to enjoy a nice movie or book and somehow everyone seems to forget that.
Harry Potter as a concept has become bigger than Rowling. I agree that the content can't be cancelled anymore, it will live on even without Rowling. I feel most people don't even care who or what kind of person is behind it, they will consume it anyway. This is good btw, the entire cancel culture is stupid. There is no need to disassociate from an entire franchise just because someone said some things that you don't agree with. The internet has made us all much closer, so it's understandable that people feel a need to react. But as far as holding people accountable, you should probably keep it to people you actually know.
Dude the actual modern audience has already locked out the MSM entirely. Literally the only people left who are tuned into them at all are boomers, wine aunties, and theater kids too lame to hang out with other theater kids. Yeah.
I'll say this again. When they went after JK, that's when I shifted right. I actually read the books. Thousands of pages she wrote with the conclusion being LOVE. no greater message has ever been written. I chose my side.
I'm glad to see a shift against this crazy bs. Being born with a trait you don't like doesn't mean you can guilt-trip people into pretending that trait doesn't exist. The white lady who identified as black got told to get lost. This is the same thing. Gender identity is not some special case that outranks race, nationality or anything else people would claim. If I'm expected to use pronouns because of how someone CHOSE to view themselves, they can contribute heavily to my affluence fund. Because although I wasn't born wealthy, I choose to identify as such and they need to respect that. Also, they can honor MY pronouns which are "your highness" and "my lord". Stop the insanity.

Why would they need to race or gender swap anyone in that story the first place ? There are *already* characters of various ethnicities and badass girls / women in the books to start with. It wouldn't make much sense. Rowling has complete creative control, owns the franchise and has FU money. I don't think she'll accept any tempering with her story or cheap fanfic tokenism dropped onto her characters.
Not only do I love the Harry Potter series, I love that JK Rowling says what she believes in. She has that right just like the rest of us. If the show is faithful to the characters & the books, I'm in 100%!
And that's what, racist or something? It's set in the UK, she wanted genuine accents from the actors, not some crappy imitation, and she probably wanted to make sure some British actors got a chance to get starring roles and help their career, since they always have a more difficult time than American actors do. The UK film industry is tiny and poor compared to Hollywood, why would she not want to use her one opportunity to make a big film to help out her own fellow subjects? I can only assume that you never complain at all about characters being race swapped, since you seem to think it's so objectionable that she would want British people to play British people. How dare she? That's like saying white people should play white characters (obviously black people need to play black characters, that can't even be questioned). It's not "exclusionary" to be selective over the casting for one specific project. Now if her general principle was that only British actors should be allowed to act in any film, or that Americans can never under and circumstances play a British subject, that would be exclusionary.

Actually it’s a very smart decision. They’re not waiting for the movies to loose value as they know that it most likely never will. They decided to create a brand new series to engage NEW fans that didn’t necessarily grow up experiencing HP coming out in cinema every year.

To hear some of these so-called fans describe what they believe to be the main themes of the series often leaves me wondering if we read the same books. @@mavisbeacon6770 Same for HBO. They don't want to get hate for that reason.
"Shots fired, too bad they came from a water pistol" lol
Excellent! video as usual Gary.
They’re going to make British boarding school reflect “modern diverse Britain” - that’s before we get to the casting. Hopes are through the floor; happy to be surprised but at this point, the onus is on the industry to prove us wrong!
I have some level of hope that its not going to go full modern dr.who
Why would they need to race or gender swap anyone in that story the first place ? There are *already* characters of various ethnicities and badass girls / women in the books to start with. It wouldn't make much sense. Rowling has complete creative control, owns the franchise and has FU money. I don't think she'll accept any tempering with her story or cheap fanfic tokenism dropped onto her characters.
@@WalterBishop-t4b Have you never heard of the Cursed Child?
Because jk didn't make them main characters. You have to have a main character as diverse as a PBS kids show.
@@WalterBishop-t4b I hope she doesnt agree to any of the modern tokenism stuff.
Not only do I love the Harry Potter series, I love that JK Rowling says what she believes in. She has that right just like the rest of us. If the show is faithful to the characters & the books, I'm in 100%!
I love your editing. Laughing at the kindergarten cop kid and the auto and manual thing.😂❤
Mwah mwah mwah! Chef’s kiss for changing ‘anti-trans’ to ‘pro-women’, thank you! 🙏
💜🤍💚
Its Win Win for J K ROWLING and it’s brilliant 👍👍👍
Thanks for this, Gary! Keep it up.
JK Rowling refused to have American actors in the original movies... Openly not inclusive, boy I miss the good Ol days.
@OOL-UV2 well it's always getting worse all the time... in 20 years they'll look back on today as the good ol days.
@@justforever96 no no no you completely misunderstood me- I'm American and I'm glad she said no Americans.
@@captaincool5387Same, I appreciated her nationalism.
@@iamthewizardwhoknocks2845 there's nothing wrong with being proud of your country!
Thank goodness Rowling can wipe her tears with her billions.
I don't want to exclude anyone based on who they love
Liberal middle-aged white woman here! LOVED the books, LOVE the parks, liked the movies, liked the play. There's this old South Park episode about tolerance versus celebration... Team Rowling here. If you push against someone for not being Left enough or Right enough, you push them away to the other side. Fingers crossed for all of us!
I am somewhat of a centrist I guess, but it definitely seems to me that conservatives are much more welcoming and accepting of others , as long as they aren't showing up just to scold and tell everyone how wrong they are. They are usually just happy to have an ally on that particular issue the even if you don't see eye to eye on others.
@@justforever96 I’m more left-wing and that’s 100% true. I find it much more productive to work with conservatives where there is common ground than self-proclaimed “leftists” who are insufferable and irrational.
I’m not interested in race swaps nor gender swaps nor dei for the Harry Potter tv series which btw we don’t need because we already have 8 movies and it’s way too soon to reboot.
Actually it’s a very smart decision.
They’re not waiting for the movies to loose value as they know that it most likely never will. They decided to create a brand new series to engage NEW fans that didn’t necessarily grow up experiencing HP coming out in cinema every year. This series will draw out its own super fans and, unlike the movies that have become must-watch Christmas family movies, it will become this iconic series that will eventually have its own figurines, merch, posters and cult-like fans.
If the author gives the greenlight then I don't really care.
That little kid at the beginning had me laughing and snorting. 😂
“The little kid”??? Niqqa that’s Harry Potter
Maybe once people realize the modern audience is a facade, we can finally move past the access media.
Bi-curious wine aunties 100% exist. The access media just miscalculated by thinking they could talk wine aunties into actually *supporting* stuff other than solipsistic melodramas regarding other wine aunties ("OnE wOmAn'S jOuRnEy~").
its a hold over from 2016 where they could shame people into watching thier stuff.
I just keep asking myself how many more billions do they have to lose to change course? You'd think after the Ghostbusters 2016 or Charlie's angels reboot they would have course corrected, but here we are with Netflix making a documentary with cleopatra (inbred Macedonian Greek "colonizer) being portrayed as black.

How bad do you think the literal wealthiest people on the planet wanna tell other people what to do?
Contrariwise? How much do you think they care about losing the billion dollars of fiat currency they had in their favourite khakis that morning?
Your editing is so smooth, appreciated it!
This channel has come such a long way.
@@liamphibia It's a robo-thot. Pay it no mind.
You used the old harry potter games soundtrack as some of the background, that's awesome :D

You're a winner, Harry...
To be sorta fair, they pretty much told the cast of Harry Potter that if they didn't come out against JK, their careers would be over! They were over anyway, so you think they could support the person who made them rich, but no, they sold her down the Thames river. Yet I don't see Daniel Radcliffe with a trans girlfriend. They're real women, he says, so why isn't he dating one? Could it be these people don't believe a word they're saying, but we're so afraid they'd lose their careers they couldn't betray her fast enough. I don't see Emma dating a trans man either.
I'm not in J.K.s political think, I'm conservative, but I love her creativity 💪👍👍
JK Rowling: "I never thought I would fight these woke cultists side by side with those who once accused me of leading children to witchcraft."
Religious conservatives: "What about side by side with a friend?"
JK Rowling: "Aye. I could do that."
I don't even like Harry Potter like that but the rediculous Hypocrisy or leftests over her factual comment even though she is basically a feminist leftest is hilarious.
Y’all are gonna flip flop and have a fit once you hear about Snape…
The media and leftist meltdown is glorious
I'd honestly like to see an adult Harry Potter story where the villain(s) were intelligent and knew how to cast more than 3 spells.
The reason she's winning is that she's right. By the way, 'Rowling' rhymes with 'bowling', not with 'Howling'. Happy New Year.
People forget she hates you. She has a single issue and people suddenly forget she was calling you hitler before it was trendy.
Thank you... these people fall for the con so easy
Oh, I know she's a leftist at heart, but regarding the women protection issue, I'm with her.
@danelwind2574 it's low hanging fruit, that's all. Practically everyone agrees on this.
Very good ! ✨Bravo Nerdrotic!
In my view Daniel, Emma and Rupert are nothing but a bunch of ungrateful brats, they deserve to be erased from Harry Potter’s history.
Ryan Reynolds will be cast as Moana in the live action adaptation of Moana.
Just think about those book sales. Those books have been out for DECADES! There are piles of them in every used book store! Sitting on shelves in every library! In many classrooms! Yet they still sell that well!
Spot on as usual thanks!
Hogwilds school of gizzards. Let’s not forget HBOs sequels to GOT, season 8 and House of the Dragqueens.
