Love this game. Remember being a kid and allowed to choose one Sega game at Bradley's and I chose this and was so captivated by the music in this game. The opening hover-bike chase sequence was so cool and mysterious too. Great memories! 😀

"CD-ROM game in a cartridge!" Played this for the first time back in '93 on the Sega Genesis. What a soundtrack! Had to rent this game twice to finish it. First time didn't know how to get back to the ship (or was it do something after you kill the last alien?). My father and I didn't mind playing it all over again next weekend. Hearing the ending theme was just amazing. You truly felt a great journey coming to an end, with hope for what lied beyond. Without any instruction manual, we really had to experiment to learn all the moves. Great times. Eventually bought the game from the rental shop. Never got an instruction booklet though. (Didn't bother with the sequel, since I think Conrad drifting in suspended animation was the perfect sci-fi ending.)

The manual has a cool little mini-comic book in it. I LOVED this game as a kid, and still play it once in a while. Mostly for the music 🎶

This will always be the definitive version of this OST for me. I played this game when I was a young kid around 5 or 6 y/o and it always scared the crap out of me, but I still loved it. The cold digital sounds of the genesis always gave me a weird feeling, and now I totally love it.

Loved this game as a kid. Was by far my favourite game on the Mega Drive and such a great soundtrack too. Just picked it up on sale for the Switch and am playing through it again.

First level and last level first ith out knowing the game or not being a reader of manuals getting use to the game I found my self trying all sorts to get past that impossible gap last had a dark feel after the fun stuff I found the city and jobs fun minus escorting not a fan of watching paper thin targets while defending my self to still if it had been today much worse a case patterns are beatable random not so lol but yeah not good when it goes from nice to dreary last level.
If it was like Kings bounty hack then I had no clue that game destroyed me mabey it was just the reading back then who knows and no UA-cam or guides back then what a horrible time that was

For anyone that likes this, you may want to check out Mort Garson's Ataraxia project (The Unexplained). Some clear inspiration from him in this ost

Loved this game, so unique and properly futuristic. I never could get past the nuclear reactor meltdown though. I always got to the end of the stage and I can't figure out how to operate the button.

the Journal/Diary music only have the first part of it, and is rendered in a weird way. Too bad cos the original music is the best music in the game, and can easily be missed since it only plays if you activate the Journal in your inventory at the last level of the game, which is not needed to complete the game.

Yes! Is definitely the best song in the game. This version even has a different melody. The version on the switch has different chord extensions. Went back and listed to the amiga version and is just way ahead of its time. I wonder what the original music composer thought of the other versions?
