Some cool tools! Have a great weekend Bryan!
I appreciate it Mike! You do the same! :)
Hi, I'm from the UK and I've got one 12" version of the second saw and the only reason I've even considered replacing it was I wanted a sliding saw. I also used to own of of their 10 circular saw but I sold it because it was a bit big and heavy for my needs. Having said that, it was a solid and well built tool.
That's great to hear mickcawley! Thanks for sharing. I was super impressed with the tool brand as well! Really appreciate you watching!
I’m glad I subscribed to Flynndog woodwork 👍
Haha! :) Thanks so much Hengry-hn7rb! I appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Great reviews! Thank you. I subscribed immediately.
You are too kind! Thank you so much! :). Have a great day Ian!
I’ve been hearing good things about this brand for well over a year now. Fantastic review.
Oh nice! I was quite impressed. SImilar quality to any other tool brand I've seen out there. Thanks so much for watchign Pat!
Looks like Evolution is aggressively trying to get some much deserved name recognition in the US market. They also sent these saws to Mike at Projects For All. Mike did some very impressive cutting with the big S355MCS including 2" solid steel round bar. The little R210CMS cut 1/4" steel plate and chrome moly tubing cleanly, which is impressive for a baby sized saw.
If you haven't seen his channel, Mike is -IMO- the most thorough fine detailed reviewer on the Tube. Been subscribed to both of you since you started, and it's great to see both channels steadily growing.
@ProjectsForAllReviews
Thanks so much for sharing ST-0311. I have not seen him yet, But definitely going to be checking him out! Thanks so much for sharing. Excited to check him out! :)
I am 1 year into owning Evo's Rage 5-s contractor's table saw, for backyard hobby woodworking. As most of my stock is pallets and fences, the multi material blade comes in well handy for the rough dimensioning cuts. An 80-tooth fine cut blade does a good finish once the metal content is sorted.
That is great to know Doug! Thanks for sharing that, I'm very interested to see how those work as well. May be a future video! Really impressed with the quality of evolution!
I'm impressed by the chop saw and it's various features.
I really liked that one too. Really kind of a cool saw. thanks so much for watching Ray!
Thanks for the video! I'm Team Teal when it comes to my miter saw but that fun-sized one does look interesting!! Blessings!!!
Team teal is a great team to be on! The tiny miter saw was probably my favorite out of this mix for sure. Have a great sunday and blessings to you as well! :)
In uk have a evolution compound miter saw for 8 years now still going strong
That's great to hear Gary! Really impressed with this brand! Thanks so much for watching!
I live in the UK been using these for about 6 years now spot on
Oh nice! Glad to hear it from someone who has been using them for a while. I was quite impressed! Thanks so much for watching Wayne!
They do a multi blade cuts wood metal etc ,I always watch your videos interesting to see what tools you guna review 👌👌👌👌👌
@@Nowere1234 Thank you so much Wayne! I appreciate it! :)
About time they started sending you stuff. good job.
Haha! You aren’t lying! This channel is expensive! But I love doing it! 😊
I've noticed his subscription count rising quite nicely. Watch out Stumpy!
@@kwilliams2239 Haha! Thanks so much! :). Stumpy doesn't have anything to worry about I don't think! :).
The saws were pretty nice, but that saw stand looked like a tool I could put to use. Another fun Saturday coffee video, thanks and have a great rest of the weekend.
Yep, that was one of the most interesting for the price. Really like the smaller miter saw too. Really nice to have something so light! Thanks as always for watching Pat, and have a great sunday! :)
An interesting video. Here in the UK. Evolution have been out for years. I use their rage 5. table saw. It was a multi material saw. with a sliding table on it. for £250 a few years ago. It's given me good service. its a bit plasticky. And only yesterday I saw a review. of its next generation.£450 And it seems to be a lot of improvements. Still has the sliding table. Which. is very useful This new version allows you to get. 3rd party miiter guides. Of much better quality than that that's always provided with saws. Soft start. fast switch off. very easy kill button. and the rack and pinion fence
Did your metal cut in chop saw? Come with the magnetic wand. This is a device for picking up the. shavings of metal which the will be a lot of, if you are cutting metal. very handy device. with my deal mine came with this wand included.
Thank you so much for sharing Chris! Love to hear about these other tools. Sounds like they make some all around great products! I unfortunately did not get that metal wand you spoke of. That would have been a great addition! I had no idea that they made such a full line up of tools. I'm definitely going to be checking this brand out more in the future! THanks so much for watching!
If you work with metal you know Evolution. Wish content creators wouldn’t use false titles.
I did like the huge axe.
Understood! Sounds like they are a great asset in the metal industry. For us woodworkers, however I don’t think many people know about them. Thanks for watching Stuart!
The little saw is indeed cute but with limited space in my garage, I don't have room for a second saw. I'll stick with my 12" DeWalt. Thanks. Good reviews! 😊
Well you've got about as good as saw as you can get. LOVE my dewalt! Thanks for watching Chuck!
I really do love that 14 inch saw. I wonder if the fine folks at Evolution would be interested in gifting one to a duty injured first responder who can't afford one. GREAT VIDEO!!!!
You definitely have earned one. Evolution if you are listening this guy needs one! Thanks for watching PaganWizard and thnaks for your service!
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Thank You Very Much!!!!!!
I was going to ask if you would do a review on this company as I have some of the tools and quite like them but I have nothing to compare them to. I find their multi purpose blades great too. I would love to see your opinion on their track saw (hybrid)
Oh nice Alex! Great to hear that. I'd love to check out their track saw. Actually I'd love to check out any other track saw other than the festool to see how it compares and see if I overpaid. Thanks so much for watching Alex!
Thank you. Ordered the Evolution saw after checking out your link. My DEWALT cold saw base is so thin that after years of light use the fence is no longer plumb nor at the correct angle.
Oh nice! Thank you so much, that really helps the channel. I hope it works out of for you and it sounds like you gave that old Dewalt a run for it's money! Thanks so much for watching Willbraswell!
Captain America: “Language”
This looks like a good budget “miter saw” with some cool extras.
Haha! Thanks so much for watching Damon! Really appreciate it!
I bought a evolution concrete saw 4 or 5 years ago and it's been great ever since , note I only use it once or twice a year
Great to hear WEALRO! I suppose I will only use these occasionally, but I think they could be work horses if I made them primary saws. They feel really well built! Thanks so much for watching!
That miter stand looks like my Roybi I bought 7 years ago. But mine is longer about 4 feet.
Thanks for sharing Dandelie! Good to know. I haven't seen the Ryobi ones but they sound like they would be another great option.
I think the price went up to 149 bucks the last I saw them. Still is a ok deal to me.
@@dandelie2067 Oh damn! I just checked right now, and looked like it was $100.52, but might have to do something with the location of where it is shipped to though. But totally agree with you. Still a decent price!
I bought an evolution chop saw from Home Depot a few years ago when it was on clearance. Pretty good little saw
Oh nice! I had no idea Home Depot carried their saws. Good to know for the future! Thanks so much for watching!
@@FlynndoggWoodworkNot sure if they carry their saw any more as I haven't seen them in a while, but I haven't really looked. I assume they were not going to be carrying them going forward since the saw was on clearance or an older model. I will have to keep an eye out for them
@@LordHog I'll be keeping an eye out too. I'll scope it out next time I go. I bet if they do carry evolution it would definitely be in the metal saw area.
I like the little one for metal, personally I've dedicated my old Ryobi to the job. Then last thing you want is bits of metal flakes mixing into your woodworking projets. One thing to think of is when chopping ferrous metals ,its not a good idea to use your dust extractor as it can spark and send a nasty ember into you dust bag where it will smolder and start a fire hours later. Good review though ,much appreciated. Keep it up.
That is an excellent point, thank you so much for sharing. Definitely don't want to use that dust collector when cutting through metal. That is a great way to start a fire. Thank you so much for sharing and watching!
As i am in England Revolution is quite common and a pretty decent choice for quality and price... i currently have the Evolution Rage 5 S table saw. Its full of features and is pretty accurate if you tweak it up... check it out mate 👍
Great to hear Paul! I've heard nothing but good things in the comments about this brand. I can't believe it isn't more common here in the states. I was really impressed. thanks so much and I'm very interested in checking out more of their tools!
That Evolution miter saw stand looks very similar to the Harbor Freight Warrior Miter saw stand I bought for about $60. It’s decent and a great value.
Oh nice! Thanks for sharing Jim! Sounds like another great option to take a look at. I need to make it to HF soon to scope out some of there more interesting tools. It's been a bit since i've been there! Thanks so much for watching!
Think I will stick with my Axial glide and Zero Gravity Stand
Sounds like a great choice! Thanks for watching Eric!
$100 is a helluva deal for a miter stand. I'd have a hard time going back to a regular stand though. I caved and got the rolling miter stand from dewalt and its so nice. with basic modification, I attached my dw735 to it. I just left it on there permanently now and need another one for my miter saw.
Yep, that is one thing that happens with those "portable stands" My miter saw and this saw will most likely have a permanent residence on the stand they are sitting on. Typically even if I am movinig it somewhere I just take the saw and not the stand! :) Thanks as always for watching NathanTalbertWoodworking!
Well done!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching afpitbull60!
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Question: Do the shirts you sell run true? I normally take a M.
@@afpitbull60 Great question. I would say yes, if not maybe a little big. The nice thing is, they don't seem to shrink, which is most important I think. They are also a little longer than most I have, which is nice for those of us with larger bellies! :)
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Thanks! I appreciate the info.
@@FlynndoggWoodwork I just placed an order. :)
The Revolution saws look interesting for, as you say, a grab and go construction saw. Have you compared it with the cheaper Harbor Freight saws? I see the Warrior 7-1/2" saw is on sale for $100, with 10" saws in the $190 range.
I keep my $100 (I've had it more than fifteen years) HF 10" SMCS around for this sort of thing. It's bigger and more awkward but if it rains, I haven't lost much. It looks like Revolution ripped the stand design off DeWalt. The DeWalt stand is great but trades size for weight. I had a Bosch I used it with but sold that, so it's only used for my HF, now. I have to get off my a$$ and put new decking on my deck.
Thank you so much for sharing this kwilliams! You aren't the first person to mention this. I really need to do some more reviews of the Harbor Freight tools Many people keep bringing them up, and I've only been to Harbor Frieght 2 times. Sounds like I'm missing out. Thank you so much for the suggestion, I think it's definitely worth exploring on a future video.
That stand looks basically like a DeWalt.
Oh that’s interesting. Looks like the Dewalt ones are a little more pricey and maybe have a more mobile base, but good to know! Thanks for watching Grannydeen!
Dogg, man, those evolution tools are making some waves in the community. Most of you inner tubers have given high praise to the evolution tools. Look at you instructing us in the difference between chop and miter saws. Pretty soon, you'll need to hire a Vanna White type of assistant to help point out all the features of the items you are displaying. Bet that would boost views, just don't tell Mrs. Dogg. Ahh...you finally broke out the Woodpecker.
Haha! Woodpecker was just for you. Man, have you seen vanna lately? She ls like dick clark! Doesn't seem to have an aging gene in her. Or she has a great surgeon. Probably the latter! :) Thanks as always for watching meat. Hope you have a great sunday! :)
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Happy Easter to the Dogg pound.
@@themeat5053 Same to you my friend. Burt Sends his regards as well! :)
Didn't show a lot of cuts on the wood miter saw but the ones you did show, the bearings sounded terrible.
Hmm... I didn't notice any problems with either saw. But maybe I don't have the ear for it. Thanks for watching DesignCutters
What do think of the Bauer 58564 99.99 compared to the evolution
Oh that sounds really interesting. I have not tried that saw, but at that price, that would definitely be worth taking a look at. I need to check out more HF tools in the near future. People are always asking me about them and I have very little expereince with them. Great suggestion!
Im happy with my miter saw but I really love that miter station. You've got nuts all over you BTW dont know if your aware? Lolol
Hahahaha! You know it! :). Thanks so much for watchign CorbyQ! :)
They're not a new brand. They've been around awhile. Known for abrasive cutting saws for welders.
Yep, you are right! :). I'd really like to get one of those abrasive saws as well. They really look nice. Thanks so much for sharing and watching nate!

Maybe your title should be ‘New to Me’. I’ve used Evolution for years
Probably should have been! :). Thanks for watching Zoeng99.
Neat
These are good budget tools. I wish we could begin to purchase tools not made by communist China, though.
I hear you. Hard to find these days it seems. It's a shame!
Thank you please read Romans 10:9-13❤
Thanks for watching Brent!
Evolution has been known and respected for a long time with metal workers. These saws are designed and meant for metal, not wood. Just like your others are designed and meant for wood. The two types of saws operate at different speeds, along with the blades being specific to the material. You’re not supposed to mix and match
Well, I'm not sure I agree with you. The box Specifically says that the larger miter saw is specifically made for mixing and matching. Both for metal, wood and other materials. I think this is one of there saws that they are trying to make that has multi-uses. That was one of the reasons they sent i to this channel I believe. I 100% agree with you on one purpose saws though!
Not true.Evolution make metal and woodwork tools, and multi material cut blades. In the UK,they are better known for the woodworking saws.
