    Bummer to hear this happening to you. I'll have to mention it when I make a summary on my suspension analysis series.

      Yes it is. I was really loving the suspension. Was a great improvement over stock. Now I need something that gets the job done and last longer than a year. And I just checked the mileage, and only put a little over 10k miles on it.😒. So didn’t last long at all. I’ll have to check out your Suspension Analysis to see what better options are out there.👍🏾

      I just received my rear replacement yesterday, so they got it to me a lot faster than originally stated.👍🏾

      @@Lucrativesoldier Pretty fast at least!

      @@bruceyyyyy Right! Ill try to compare the old to the new to see if they've improved the bushings, or still using the same ones.

    Good information but not good to hear. I just installed the same Ironman kit on my 2020 Forester Sport. I took it for the test ride to settle the suspension and parked it. Next morning I noticed a large puddle of oil below the rear strut. Looks like the weld at the lower ring cracked and all the oil leaked out. I contacted them and a new strut is on the way. I'll see if the bushings have been changed on the new one too. This is not good or confidence inspiring. Like you said "You get what you paid for". At least they are making good on the replacement and warranty. I also noticed that you are running the front stock swaybar end links. When I was putting the front together one side at a time I had to compress the strut to line up the end link and I didn't think this is good so I installed Ralitek adjustable links. The lift made the stock links too long. Watching your progress and seeing how it goes with Ironman honoring the warranty.

      Thanks! Sorry to hear you’re having issues too. It’s nice that they honor the warranty, but in all honesty, who wants to keep removing their suspension to have it replaced? Not to mention having it realigned too. And then you have those who don’t do their own work, so those people have to pay for labor also. It’s just unfortunate that they can’t get it together.😒

    Damn, wish I'd waited a couple more weeks to install my Ironman kit now!

      Yeah, I was considering switching to a different setup but I figure I’ll just roll with Ironman until the wheels fall off… hopefully not literally.😂

    Jeez, that's a bummer. I know we talked a little bit about them on your post about the bushing, and I know you've seen a few of my posts and comments about them on Facebook, but yea, that sounds about right, I only got about a year and 9k-10k miles before i started thinking it looked lower than it should, and it wasn't until about 4 months later at AWDFEST that I confirmed it was around stock height. Good to know they seem to be at least somewhat willing to deal with these issues now though, after going back and forth for over a month with them, it took me emailing their CEO to get any sort of positive response.

      Yeah I’ve actually given up on the front being replaced. I just don’t have the time or energy to try and convince them that they need replacing too. I’m just gonna ride it out until I upgrade, and just keep sharing my experience.🤷🏾‍♂️

    Hello friend, do you have a video of how you installed the 2 inch Ironman suspension?

    • @Lucrativesoldier
      @Lucrativesoldier  6 місяців тому +1

      Unfortunately I do not. I didn’t do one because Ironman already did one. They actually do it on a crosstrek but it’s similar. If I would have know it was a little different I would have. Maybe I’ll do it when they send me my replacement.🤷🏾‍♂️

    Not good to hear, I just bought and received and installed my spec C on my 23 OBW two weeks ago. Been a hell of a time getting the car aligned. Hearing some clunk, but I’m figuring it’s to be expected as it’s a stiffer ride. Good luck brother, I hope they honor their product, and yeah, sending in the item before receiving the replacement, especially in this application is not a good look.

    • @Lucrativesoldier
      @Lucrativesoldier  5 місяців тому +1

      Sorry to hear that. You’ll enjoy it for a little while, as it is an improvement over oem as far as performance goes, not longevity.😒. Keep an eye the rear sway bar mounts. They loosen up and will make noise. As for the replacements, they actually got the rears out to me a lot quicker than expected. But now I’m trying to get the front taken care of. Next replacement, I will probably go with the Bilstein/Rallitek setup. I can’t imaging going wrong with that.

      @@Lucrativesoldier so on the rear swaybar mounts, the outback wilderness keeps the stock setup, so I should be okay with that.🤞🏽if it weren’t for a veterans discount that I got with Ironman, I probably wouldve gone rallitek or flat out. In any case I’m at 250 miles and should hit the other half of 500 this week for the re-torque check. I’m glad you got the rears, I’m hoping they come around on the front set.

      @@Locutus720 oh good, that’s one less thing to worry about.
      I considered Flatout, but heard people having problems with them also.😒
      Thanks! I will do an update as soon as I have one. I did a short showing the difference between the swapped Ironman rears.
