Guys exaform is made by ks. Happy new year. I like the relaxed blog style format. I actually over torqued my fatbike dropper and never even thought about it being the reason my dropper is slow since switching it from my hardtail for winter. I even re-lubed it and then cranked her back down again without it crossing my mind. So thanks for the psa Jeremiah.
I have this dropper. Just installed it. The lever is so so, but it works. The post itself is great. Almost zero play, and quick action. Just as good as my way more expensive PNW post.
I have a pnw suspension dropper on my GT. The suspension component was awkward at first but I got used to it quickly. I recommend one especially for a hard tail.
Nice video guys! I bought that same crankset for the wife's G.1 Explorer. They would not fit the mountain bikes I have as the crank arm does not curve out enough top clear the rear chainstay, so be aware of that! But they are so SWEET! Glad to hear Wolfman is recovering, and almost DONE! Happy New Year to all!
really wish i could have you guys to show me what type of head tube adapter and wheel i should get for my bike, dang it! already have the fork picked out (tapered fork). love these videos though
Since you are talking budget MT200 brakes are a no brainer. Prices are way down on those. That coincidence of Kevin H and Berserker sending the same items was weird. The only thing missing was some Twilight Zone music in the background.
Man the tick doesn’t shop around much when it comes to droppers!!! 😂 I’ve been eyeing this cranks up, they’re a copy of the 5dev cranks… much more budget be interested what you think of them. Brakes…. Hmmmm Clarks M4 look good on amazon in the uk atm, maybe same in the US?
I really enjoy these videos guys. I myself ride high end bikes but love how you guys show that it don’t matter what you ride just ride. So much good content for these budget bikes. Shows people it’s all upgradable. I’m not part of your patreon but would like to send you guys some parts from my parts bin. I have a lot of really good take off parts and parts that didn’t really work well for me. I would love to see you guys put it to use on your channel. Let me know how I can do this.
Amazon is selling a Himalo Lutu? Frame( aluminum with medium and large sizes). Thinking about it in the future; but would trigger a whole upgrade cycle since it has boost wheels( so would need new wheel( unless theres a quick release to boost through adapter?) It's 64 degree head tube tapered with high pivot rear 140 mm travel. Happy new year to you, the family, and the wolftick nation. Wish the wolfman a speedy recovery.👍
You guys are going to need a new wheel to run on that through axle fork you bought. The stock OTR wheel is quick release skewer not through axle. You can convert a through axle wheel to QR but not vice versa. The adapter you bought is to convert a 15x100 (non boost) through axle to a 15x110 boost through axle.
I thought the same thing. eBay has trek i35 or bontrager i19 for 70$. Unless they have a spare wheel hanging around or the factory hub can be modified, that converter isn't going to help.
You mentioned you do not spend that much time in the seat, however do you have a video comparing budget seats or possibly interested in making that video? Box store seat almost ruins the riding experience for myself. Ledge x1 and x2.
Jg bike is legit I got a dropper for Gt aggressor pro back that came with remote and for another build I used there 1x crankset and stem and handle bars the price looks stretchy but I’ve used there stuff it’s good for the price
It doesn't. Can't convert QR skewer hub to a through axle hub. The converter they bought will just adapt a shorter TA to a longer boost TA. They will need a new wheel if they want to run that through axle fork. I guess they could rebuild the stock wheel with a TA hub but it prob wouldn't be worth it.
hey guys 100% do a review of the evosid i literally have one in my save for later on amazon but can you do it a little differnt can you try it on multiple bikes people only ever review it on one bike so you have to watch multiple videos to try n get a good idea for example shimano rd or xt derailiur i even watched one guy fit one to find its a sram style chain can you check both? because if im right i believe the chain ring is an old sram fitting
Wolftick !! I tried to share a really good deal I found. Won’t let me comment though. I’m a subscriber as well. It’s Unified Bike Company. Check it out guys. Luv your channel. Came across this deal while I was looking for a gravel frame to build my own bike after watching your channel so much. Thanks and keep the content coming, one of the only things I look forward to watching on the internet ** My apologies if this is not allowed
Glad to hear you are on the mend Wolfman. I enjoy both of your channels. Mail time was particularly good this episode 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
The whole family watched and yes we were laughing during mail time! Lil Squatch smiled for sure. The bottom bracket tool looked beefy.

19:04-19:18. 20:48. Dad's concerns well founded. lol
I picked up those Evosid cranks have them on my Rail and my son's Diamondback. They've been awesome.
Them 165mm cranks look stunning very good cant wait to see how you get on with them ❤
Seat lever dropper posts are awesome! No cables.
@@tinycmo yeah but it's a pain reaching for the lever while flying through some narly trails. It's actually dangerous imo

Those 5dev clone cranks are nice!! It's crazy 5dev wants $500! I might get the Evosid in black. Great patreons y'all have!!
My i900 dropper lasted about a year

@@gregnowak2492 did you try a bb spacer? I've seen ppl use them on mtbs with no issues. Those cranks are actually clones of the high-end 5dev.
If I was a betting man I'd say berserker sent the same crank set too 😂
Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner

@@sanjeever82 what bike you got?
I got one of those crank arms, I need to install them

I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my bike with some mt200's. Would you have a recommendation for a reputable seller? Thx
It was playing from my basement

Budget Brakes are easy, MT200. Prices are way down on those. I think Kevin H and Berzerker are coordinating.
I assure you it was purely coincidental
It was funny!!
Satori Sorata Pro Dropper Post 31.6mm x 485mm x 150mm , i got one and it works great aliexpress

I only use Wittkop Medicus Air saddles ( the Trekking model ) they are my default bike seats.

@@bigsqualor You are correct!
yeah thats what i was wondering too. I really wanted to get that fork on sale, but having to get a whole new wheel kind of defeated the price savings
Curious what you think of the Evosid crank?
I've been running mine for a few weeks now so far can't tell the difference from my SRAM GX cranks.
When you have it all built do we get a cat's meow ride❤

Suspension seat posts are a blessing on a street bike, they are very forgiving and they work very well; just don't buy the cheap ones.
Clarks mechanical breaks are good but shimano mt200 for the win if price is right
Someone tell me about the boost converters! This converts a 9x100mm wheel to a boost fork? How?
They convert a 15x100 TA wheel to a boost 15x110 Thru Axle
It doesn't. Can't convert QR skewer hub to a through axle hub. The converter they bought will just adapt a shorter TA to a longer boost TA.
