Got the civivi chronic, very happy with it. Regular flipper. For smaller wrist people, there is a casio gshock of 99 euros with solar and atomic sync of about 40mm. Got that. My outdoor watch i can bang around.

@@MoorlanderEDC I noticed! Beautiful knife! I got the same one. Orange micarta. My only criticism after a bit of use it that I wish the detent was a bit stronger or there was a better finger choil. For heavier use it can be pretty easy to close. It would make it hard to flip out but a bit safer to use. But I could also be using it wrong. Still a great knife. I totally forgot I suggested that. When I saw it in the video I was just like, “oh I have one of those” and the bond is great. A must edc for me.
That was my struggle too flipping it out. I think if the tang was just even a few millimetres longer it would help. The bearing do take a while to wear in too so I'll just carry annoying Mrs Moorlander flipping it out all the time 😆
Happy Sunday Lord Moorlander, your Civivi is very similar to the Elementum ( my favorite Civivi ) except that its a slip joint & not a lock blade like mine ( I have it with olive drab Micarta scales ). In addition to using the flipper tab I have fitted mine with a Kwik thumb stud for a slower more controlled opening of the blade . Good luck with the new joint venture!
Hi Steve. The Elementum is my knife of 2021. For the price I think it's hard to beat it. That opening action is buttery smooth. I just wish I could carry it more. This will definitely be the first of many. We have already pretty much hashed out the next two bigger collabs as well as some smaller ad hoc ones too. Exciting times

Hi Travis. They're from a Spanish brand called Hawkers. They have a large range that are none metal parts so they're pretty tough, but if you push the arms round too far, they pop off (and back on) to save any hinges getting broken. They also have crazy sales too. They did a buy 1 get 2 extra free a while back

I watched all 6 videos and I am surprised to see I have only two same items in my EDC pack with Jon Gadget (vix. compact and skeletool CX), but no similarities between the remaining gear Gurus. It’s also partly because some items you have are not available in my country or are way too expensive because of the tax regime. I myself carry a Victorinox Compact, a Leatherman Skeletool CX (a bir switched with a carbide glass breaker), a Leatherman No4 prying tool as a key organizer (simply clinging sounds don’t bother me), a Nebo Torchy, a very simple leather card holder and my Suunto 9 Titanium Baro. Sadly I am not experienced as yourselves to share my items but am very fond of your collab. Hope to see new ones!

The light is intriuging, but I was unable to justify the size. The GITD did not work well for me in that format. One of the good things about this flashlight is that it does not roll. Not a fan of the buttons. If they would fix the buttons, make the body have more grip, fix the dark spots, increase the brightness and range options, and increase the waterproofing, it may have made the cut. I like the wallet idea. Maybe when I settle down.
I get that. I think with these being the first in the development of this new series it's a great foundation. I think I could live with a slightly longer body to fit in an AA battery and larger lipo too. Have a great weekend buddy
@@MoorlanderEDC I tried the Nebo Inspector+ (IIRC), and it wasn't bad for length, but the user interface was terrible. Of course, it rolled. The zoom was not that great for my purposes.
..... knifeless REBAR is by far the better option..... much more sturdy than the BOND. I have both and the BOND is a bit flimsy TBH and is now in the drawer of the "not used".

The knifeless REBAR is a robust practical UK carry along with your UK legal knives. All the tools in the REBAR are locking to give you extra safety and stability. Another feature of the REBAR is that the wire cutters are replaceable.

Before I answer... I have to say I love the name. Real Russ Abbott vibes. I don't know anybody that's making then however I'm sure you could by the material and make a tarp with some copper eye holes. I think if you had a 3 by 3 tarp it would take up quite a lot of space in your pack. It's not super heavy but it wouldn't be as light and compact as a light weight tarp. It would definitely be an epic 100% bomb proof tarp for sure

Hi Dragon. I've had a few people mention the sound levels. All I can do is apologise. I think I've changed a sound setting somewhere by accident as the sound level is down. Hi Dragon. I've had a few people mention the sound levels. All I can do is apologise. I think I've changed a sound setting somewhere by accident as the sound level is down. I've just bought a lav mic in the Amazon sales to see if that helps and I'll make sure to up the sound output when I'm editing.
