The Whizzer was my first roller coaster! I grew up going to Six Flags in Gurnee every summer. Haven't been there in years now! I need to make the trip down from Green Bay soon!
I can't believe American Eagle is still alive and well! OMG! Remember Shockwave and Iron Wolf! Wow! THANK YOU for the Gurnee flashback! The characters were never out and about back in the days when we visited.
“Well” lol. They can’t even duel it properly due to the how old the ride is and they can’t really fix it due to some laws and regulations, mainly the proximity to the highway.
Iron Wolf still exists, but it was moved to Six Flags America to make room for Goliath and has since been renamed as Firebird! Can't say the same for Shockwave, though.
Took me back!!! It has been 12 years since I have been there. From the Whizzer to Raging Bull. SO much fun and great memories. I remember when I entered recovery, my ex had been sober already a year. And we bought season tickets to Six Flags to have a great way to have sober fun. Great memories.
So much fun to see other theme parks and new rides! Absolutely go to Six Flags all over the country! The one in Upstate NY is not far from Niagara falls. Funny how the Superman ride in NY is completely different than the one there. In NY - they have knee pads on the seat in front of you because you spend much of your time in the air lifted out of your seat! Can't wait to see a spinning water slide! Wendy Lady
I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago so we spent a lot of time here. I'm 69 years old now so haven't been to an amusement park in four decades, but a couple of my favorites that are no longer there were the triple ferris wheel and the stand-up roller coaster. I'm surprised that so much of the park is the same. Thanks for bringing back my memories!

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jersey is definitely a must visit for their parks. Love the rides there it's great if you're into thrills Edit: if you were afraid of that one launch coaster you might not wanna try Kingda Ka lmao
@@jabbawabba4949 Me too! I was older, and my first real one was actually RnR in DHS. BUT... does that really count for a REAL coaster? LOL Nitro though, love it. Now, we always do that first every visit. It is a staple for us!

This was my home theme park as well. I remember going there after prom....way back in 1988!!!! Whizzer was my first roller coaster and I thought I was tough crud when I went on the Demon. LOL. This was fun. Memories for sure!
My mom's best friend from collefe used to work there when she was a teen & we took a trip it was her, her mom, my mom, & we loved it! And fhen I went again in 2015 with my mom, my brother, & my best friend & I love this park so much more than my home park, Six Flags St. Louis.
When I was young, I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for the first and only time. When I went there, it was called Six Flags Marine World. One time I used all of my lunch money on carnival games. I didn’t win a single game and I was famished for the remainder of my time there. I will not play anymore carnival games from now on. I will just use the money for food and merchandise.
If you go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio make sure you check out the Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels right down the road. Since you love water parks it should be a fun one for you. :)
I’d def be interested in seeing a series of Six Flags’ visits, this one in IL is actually one of the few I haven’t been to yet. Def recommend saving the TX parks for a cooler time of year though, I used to work at 6fFiesta (San Antonio) and it being built inside a quarry makes it great for 🎢 rides but not great for 🥵 … there is a water park attached tho, so that’d be neat to see you experience the two of them together. Arlington also has some fab rides, you could go at same time of year as the TX state fair 😏 Also agree with other commenters that spreading the wealth across other US or international Disney parks would be cool to see to spice it up
It's been 8 years since I been to six flags. I love that place. So many good memories. A lot has changed since I've been there. I have to take my kids there to spend the day. Thank you for uploading this.
Nothing wrong with Culver's, but we need to get you to Nebraska so you can have Runza (or get them in all 50 states; currently they're only in Nebraska, 2 in Iowa, 2 in Colorado, and 1 in Kansas). When I lived away from here, I'd have their signature sandwich shipped to me. It's that good.
SFGA is my home park so I truly enjoyed your vlog. I was 11 when batman the ride opened in 92'. Now I get to see the smiles on my kids face which is priceless at least every weekend.
Man Kyle it's good to see something a little different bc you live in Florida but I get it, you can't just travel whenever but yes, sixflags have wooden coasters so they are bumpy I hate them sometimes bc they are bumpy and I bang my head sometimes but I still love Six Flags. I'm at the one SuxFlags St. Louis of you ever come to STL let me know and I'll be there
My favorite one here was either bull or x-flight. they ride super smoothly. Maxx force is crazy the acceleration, especially because i had never done a launch coaster.
American Eagle is still one of my favs. Have you ever gotten to ride it backwards? Do you remember when they did that many years back?? It was so cool!
Wow, American Eagle looks awesome - I love a good wooden coaster - though my back doesn't anymore 😂. I think it would be cool to see different six flag parks. Max force looked wicked, your hair told the story, but Goliath OMG, holy cow dude Goliath looks crazy!! Raging Bull was so high 😳 That was a great park day, fun time 👍
Battle for Metropolis USED to be a 3D ride. I was very disappointed in the change. I was told it's because they can't/won't sanitize the glasses in between rides. There were no instructions on what to shoot because you bypassed the normal queue with Flash Pass.
First time with my family there was awesome! It was a weekend to celebrate with and for my eldest daughter officially becoming a US Citizen and A Navy sailor. We love the MaxForce, Viper and Goliath!
We went last summer and it felt so run down and dirty. I heard they were working on cleaning it up since then so hopefully that’s the case. We’ll probably go back once we get a break from the kids sports. Now I’m off to watch the video lol.
Whizzer! Lol....oh the trauma of having to ride with a stranger in the weird seating as a kid when we had an odd number of us 😂😂😂 Glad you guys had a fun time!

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jersey is definitely a must visit for their parks. Love the rides there it's great if you're into thrills
Edit: if you were afraid of that one launch coaster you might not wanna try Kingda Ka lmao
That’s my home park
Nitro was my first real rollercoaster. I have the best memories at six flags great adventure
🤣😂 Ahhhh.... Do KK if you ever get there. It isn't that bad.
@@jabbawabba4949 Me too! I was older, and my first real one was actually RnR in DHS. BUT... does that really count for a REAL coaster? LOL Nitro though, love it. Now, we always do that first every visit. It is a staple for us!
but, not a faster speed. (Just in case some get confused between the two lol)
I lived about 3 hours from six flags great America!! It was our big theme park we would go to!!!

Hey 👋🏻 Kyle. Really, really love this Vlog!! I feel like I’ve been through EVERY ride with you. Thanks for taking us on this journey. Your hair after the Max Force though….😆😆😆😆!!
Another great Vlog. Love how your mom was asking about you filming her 😄😄😄, she’s super cool.
Can’t wait to see Wisconsin Dells tomorrow, Same Kyle Time, Same Kyle Channel!!
P.S. also come to six flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA. I’ll meet you there.
When I got engaged at 18 my fiancé flew me to Six Flags Atlanta. P.s. we only stayed together 4 more months after that but it was a great trip!! Also we live in Florida so it was a fun treat!

Louis.

Of course I'd love to see that.
In OH you have Cedar Point & Kings Island which Cedar Point is my stomping grounds. I'm originally from MI
Hey Kyle if ur wondering I’m actually the worker who was at the demon and I’m glad u liked the ride
My name is Kenyon by the way
How cool!
@@dominiquebrown8790 yea the fact he said my name was Damian😐
When I was young, I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for the first and only time. When I went there, it was called Six Flags Marine World. One time I used all of my lunch money on carnival games. I didn’t win a single game and I was famished for the remainder of my time there. I will not play anymore carnival games from now on. I will just use the money for food and merchandise.
Yassss!! Six flags Great America is everything. Love this !!😍♥️

Idk if it was just me but at 16:15 the guy behind Kyle did something with his hand 😂 luv the vids
Kyle, watching you ride that scary roller coaster made me face my fears this past weekend and I rode Pantheon for the first time ever!

Arlington also has some fab rides, you could go at same time of year as the TX state fair 😏
Also agree with other commenters that spreading the wealth across other US or international Disney parks would be cool to see to spice it up

I live in Gurnee. Six Flags is just not the same. We’re going to Disney in September

Please continue to travel to other theme parks, but you have to go to Cedar Point if you do, it's one of the best for coasters!

It's been 8 years since I been to six flags. I love that place. So many good memories. A lot has changed since I've been there. I have to take my kids there to spend the day. Thank you for uploading this.

I have actually been to Six Flags in Chicago with my band group in May of 2022. But it was rainy the whole day I was there.

You need to check out cedar point and kings island
Nothing wrong with Culver's, but we need to get you to Nebraska so you can have Runza (or get them in all 50 states; currently they're only in Nebraska, 2 in Iowa, 2 in Colorado, and 1 in Kansas). When I lived away from here, I'd have their signature sandwich shipped to me. It's that good.
You should go to Cedar Point!! So awesome! I’m going next weekend!

Omg yes y’all come to NJ our six flags rocks
It was so awesome bumping into you yesterday! It made my day!
Nice job! I did a vlog at SFGAM exactly one week before you were there. 🙂

Love the video from six flags! You should do the coasters at Cedar Point! I cant go on coasters so warching you is fun for me!
@Mary Jo Harman I got a ?
Yes! You should totally start going to more parks besides Disney. My husband and I have always said this. Even universal treats you better!

American Eagle is still one of my favs. Have you ever gotten to ride it backwards? Do you remember when they did that many years back?? It was so cool!
I remember Joker vandalized Viper and it went backwards during Halloween time haha

Thank you for this video. My family and were here 27 years ago. We loved Six Flags Great America! From Minnesota
Wow, American Eagle looks awesome - I love a good wooden coaster - though my back doesn't anymore 😂. I think it would be cool to see different six flag parks. Max force looked wicked, your hair told the story, but Goliath OMG, holy cow dude Goliath looks crazy!! Raging Bull was so high 😳 That was a great park day, fun time 👍
My goodness on some of the rides! 😲 when younger I would ride , I can’t anymore to terrified

You should check out Knott's Berry Farm in CA next time you go to Disneyland (and eat at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant)
We love you Susan! I'm sorry you're always working. We miss having you join the fun in the vlogs.
Thank you Paulo. Gotta work so we can make another appearance in Disney.
@@susanpallo7573 We need Kyle to find a spot on a ride to yell out, "Mom!"

Battle for Metropolis USED to be a 3D ride. I was very disappointed in the change. I was told it's because they can't/won't sanitize the glasses in between rides.
There were no instructions on what to shoot because you bypassed the normal queue with Flash Pass.
Have you ever been to Silver Dollar or Dollywood? Would love to see comparisons to Disney.
