I might even say that your quilt might be considered abstract (maybe). It makes me look at it in different ways and I can see different patterns in it. I do like the jelly roll fabrics that you used! I like your honesty after you have tried something new! Thank you!

Despite your challenges with the serger, the quilt looks great on the video. It was a difficult pattern to match I have had troubles threading my Baby Lock Imagine.

I’d redo the binding but that’s me! You are correct in feeling the way you do!

More trouble than it’s worth. I agree…stick with the domestic machine and what you are comfortable with.

A serger with differential feed may have helped your layers to feed more evenly! Differential feed works kind of like a walking foot!

My Serger does have a differential feed but I have never really used it- I will have to investigate that feature further - thanks for the tip.

CQA show is in Toronto next year, could you pull off entering a group quilt?

I don’t know what you mean by a group quilt and no I could not pull that off.

I have an old Bernina serger that I use only for serging the raw edges of fabric before I prewash. I feel using the serger for that purpose saves wear and tear on my expensive sewing machine. I use a fairly long stitch length and just a three thread overlock to save thread. The following is not a criticism; it’s a serious question because I have little serger experience. Why did you use such a short stitch length? Is that the length recommended by the pattern?

Simple reason I didn’t think about that until after the fact lol

I think you tried to be very fair with your comments about using your serger to make a quilt.
