I was actually wishing the Huracan could shut up for a minute so I could hear the 296. But then again I think it is morally incorrect to silence such a glorious v10
They need to try and produce some sound from this thing. Chuck another exhaust on it, because seeing it at Daytona was honestly quite miserable. A Ferrari needs to make sound, sound is part of Ferrari’s DNA as a manufacturer.
Since GT3 only have around 550hp,there is no way to use V8 Twin Turbo big engine to add weight, except GT3 is around 700hp and V8 will be back for horsepower
@@hokamto7754 that doesn’t have anything to do with sound. V6 turbos can still sound good, look at the new Maserati gt2, Acura Arx etc even the Nissan gt3
@@motorsportfan1246the 296 gtb road legal car sounds good, just this is a racecar designed to be competitive. They won 24hrs of Nurburgring beating porsche’s long streak
And I feel like the M840T V8 in the Mclaren 720s GT3 is slept on. No one talks how pleasant it sounds. They've got a turbo charged V8 like the Corvette C8 GTE, yet the Mclaren and the engine note isn't as muted, and has a unique V8 grunt at that. Really hope they can keep that V8 T for a little longer🙏
I watched practically every car go over the track limits in the same place. Instead of penalizing the drivers, how about setting more reasonable track limits? Any way, it's just a thought
Hermoso auto. Y Ferrari es una marca clásica e histórica. Pero siento (a pensamiento personal) que en estas categorías sus modelos adolecen de un sonido distintivo con respecto a los otros modelos de las otras marcas.
The 296’s v6 has a very good performance but they could’ve at least modified the exhaust to be louder without having to change anything with the engine, then the car would be perfect
I’m starting to like the 488 gt3 sound since this v6 run
Same lol
Lol
The 488 GT3 sounds really good bro what are you talking about
Yeah, you can hardly hear it, lol
I know, it's really bad. Even the M4 GT3 is louder.

@@crabnixhave to enjoy that V10 while we can.
@@koraxi8958 I will be so sad the day when there will be no more v10s or flat 6s
Its just straight wind/road noise, barely hear the exhaust sound
Love the 296 GT3!!
Magnifique cette 296

I agree, compared with the 720s GT3 the 296 sounds terrible. And the McLaren isn't that loud to begin with.
Great
Enzo would turn in his grave when he saw his car had no sound!
Enzo se hubiera adaptado al mercado!! También dijo que no usaría turbos, y antes de fallecer desarrollo en F40 twin turbo.

It looks fantastic, but sounds like... nothing.
I love your videos!
But hate the lack of noise from the 296 Gt3 😢😢

My £10k 3-Series sounds better stock. Ferrari wanted to keep e-fuels legal so they could produce... this?
Keep dreaminh
I think it sounds good when it’s decelerating
Hmmm did I hear an American V8 sound, because it sure wasn't a Ferrari sound.
The engine downsizing sucks
WTF! This car has no sound!
Only a little bit of sound. The other cars are just much louder. So you can't hear the 296. 😀
Formula E car is louder than this thing
Less noise means it's more efficient
Even Your Mom is louder than a formula e
O carro quase não tem ronco
tem ronco e muito se nao pegou a camera que e pessima, va ouvir pessoalmente como eu ouvi algumas vezes antes de falar
Verdade!
Car looks nice...Engine Sound is Sh#t....ahhh i focus on Lamborghini 😁
We have to enjoy the exhaust note of the v10 in the R8's and Huracan's while they're still here😢.
