Every country is as good as it's road infrastructure could be,you wanna grow your economy then start with road infrastructure, congratulations to our neighbors from Zambia
If you know Lusaka well, you'll agree with me that this project has been changed, with a lot of things being substituted, eg the separator on both kafue and kabwe round about is gone and a lot more, instead you introduce robots that will even create more congestion, anyway maybe you know what you are doing
I hope the buses will change as well from mini Vans to proper buses such as ones depicted in this video. It's sad to see Zambians subjected to poor and dangerous mini Vans (Toyota and Nissan Vans) which are designed for cargo.
I wasn't going to say anything but thank you. See we don't have a plan or vision for Urban Mobility. Big buses are more efficient carrying more people and fewer vehicles. But tell me with illegal access to driving licenses how will non public transport vehicles be kept out of bus lanes
Hello, I am from Soweto Joburg. To any Zambians here, does "katima molelo" mean the same in Zambia, as it doez in Setswana which means "to extinguish the fire"?
Yes Katima Mulilo is actually Sotho word for extinguishing fire. Brief history: there is a language called Lozi spoken in Eastern Namibia(Katima Mulilo Town) bordering Zambia. Lozi is spoken in Namibia and a cross border in Zambia along zambezi River. LOZI(barotse) is a dialect of Sotho. Anyone who speak Lozi understand Sotho 90% and vice versa. How did the language come to that part of africa: It was during Shaka Zulu wars that one Sotho chief by the name of SEBETWANE from the Bafokeng Royal tribe in the free state trekked accross central-Western botswana wth his tribesmen en cattle running away from the tribal wars. He settled at Katima Mulilo in Namibia and made it his headquarter before crossing into Western Zambia accross the Zambezi River where he set up the headquarter for his Kingdom. Lozi is actually Sotho and is the only language taught in schools in Caprivi Namibia en in Western Zambia. Katima Mulilo name is from Sotho.
Yes it met the same and it's the same language . There you call it Setswana and here in Zambia it's called Silozi ,and it's the same people and same language.
The project is on,nice to drive on new road, from alick nkhata to kudu road, from 2 lanes to 4 lanes.as zambians we have alot to learn from the indians and chinese.
It's finished 👍👏 with the collaboration of Indian 🇮🇳 👳♀️ Govt. Zambian 🇿🇲 Govt. 280 million USD project 5️⃣ fly overs fully functional to public use 👏👍
This is Michael chilufya Sata, late plans. If Sata could be around, Lusaka, and Zambia country could be great towns.Hope they will try to do so.God bless Zambia and the all world
steel pillars could have been better at kafue road chawama junction unlike that concrete wall which has blocked the view and made the place look ugly.we miss the times when europeans did construction.look at south africa, kenya, angola etc and even the few malls we have they are supper.
the plan is good but other parts of the country are untouched. WHY ALWAYS CONCETRATING IN LUSAKA WHEN THERE ARE OTHER STRATEGIC ROADS WHICH ARE IN A VERY POOR CONDITION
I guess we need to understand that this will be a great development and they’ll not manage to do other places at once.😂😂😂 the capital is always the priority
Your people will be flooded here from Pakistan and india.. You all over but talking junk abt other countries.. Wonder how many africans are in your plans and faces

I love the plan, I have seen that the works have already started.
A good one for a start but I think more lanes would have been better than 2 lanes.
I see we’ll have even new buildings 😊
This is good, then we learn how to keep our environment clean, safe and healthy.
Lusaka is good but what about other city's. May be its good for Lusaka I hope it will done early. Love from India.
Sachin pal Baya it's not only Lusaka, Zambia at large is a beautiful and peaceful country. Dhanywad 🙏

This is a good project but the completed sections of Kamloops, Bishops and Kabulonga Roads are not smooth but bumpy. Is it only me who has notice?
Kamloops Road is shocking with its waves. Feels like one is on a lake.

bausi luela maybe they considered the bearing capacities, and reinforced concrete is better that steel alone in some conditions.
This plan was made in 2016, we're now in 2019 and I don't see any of these plans being implemented.
Sepo, are you in Lusaka? The project is more than 15% done
We are in 2021 but we will get there💚 🇿🇲
Is the narrator Chinese?
This is brilliant

Poor traffic planning ... just 2 line and 4 line roads in biggest country in Africa ... very poor traffic planning ...
Then stay in your india. You also have poor roads, slums, stinking oceans, polluted new delhi and lot more.
