Valleys Lite Big Bike Race - KTM 1190R - So many adventure bikes!

- My second year racing at the Valleys Lite event in Wales. A totally different game to last year as the number of big bikes racing has rocketed which is awesome to see! Didn't manage to match the pace of some of the smaller 700s and 890s but stoked to come away with 7th/38 in twin cylinders and 107/242 overall (inc the Enduro bikes).
Unfortunately the GoPro decided it wasn't going to play ball so only got the start carnage! That's the best bit anyway ;) - Спорт
You always push that beast with so much pace, I feel like you're a class within a class!
The stupid people riding 150hp bikes in mud class? 🤣

Way to go. Your heart rate must have been at 200 on some spots. I'd loved watching you pass those 2 stroke dirtbikes...no fair on the 790-890s..I'm happy 1090 owner too..
The 790s/890s certainly make a much easier job of it! No V twin though 😍

I have a few clips of you in my next video. I would like to hear know if you had a "oh shit" moment as you brushed the barrier after the jump or if it was no bother at all?
Hi Charlie. In truth I didn't even know I'd brushed the barrier! There was far less grip than I had anticipated and the back was all over the place! Not quite an "oh shit" moment but certainly wasn't my intention! Hope it made for a good video? 🤣
@@BikerEddd I got the jump not the landing you can just hear the barrier noise and a few people grasp. I didn't actually see that moment
Excellent stuff! What tyres & pressure were you running? My 1190 r used to go into a 2 wheel uncontrollable slide at the sight of mud 😂👍
Depending on the terrain I run 25 - 30 psi. Never any lower as the risk of pinch punctures becomes too high. Mine does that as well but you learn to get used to it 🤣
Nice riding as always! Seems like the competition gets harder each video. Especially with more of the "smaller ADV bikes" joining in..

If you're in the UK I would look up Valleys Lite, Sweet Lamb Baja, Rally Moto and ATRC
there was a kove 450 rally
and it did pretty well!

7th/ 38 in the twins class. There were about 60 entered but I don't think that many finished!
