While everyone else is out there telling you what you SHOULDN’T be eating, it’s so refreshing to have someone telling us what we SHOULD be eating. Thanks doc!
Just my observation with bitter greens especially a lot of Mexican greens that are extremely strong you drizzle olive oil or flax seed Oil or avocado oil and they smooth out and become buttery tasting.
Yeah I totally love that he’s simply explaining some of these intimidating foods. Just because I haven’t heard anyone utter their names out loud doesn’t mean they’re bad or scary😂 thanks for looking out for us, Gundry buddy!

I definitely eat most of those on a weekly basis. Fennel has a very particular taste I'm not a fan of for some reason, but I force myself to it eat it...I just throw it in veggie soups so I don't even notice it 😄
Radicchio tastes so much more bitter than anything else to me, and I'm a fan of bitter. Still trying to get used to that one.. There must be a better way to prepare it; it tastes even more bitter than 100% cocoa to me. Love my cruciferous vegetables though, just lightly blanched in well-salted water.

I can’t get radicchio down. They serve it a lot in Italy and it just ruins the dish for me. I know it’s a better health choice. But, I don’t know how it could be prepared in a way that would be palatable for me.

When you live in or around a small town, alot of these vegetables aren't available at your small grocery store. So you just eat what's available.
