Just bought my first truck ever ..2024 Tacoma SR. 4x4…I love it. Tbh
I had an 04 Tacoma. Loved the truck. And at the time I worked for a construction company. The Brainiacs there thought just because I had a truck it automatically meant that it would become a company truck. That was a no no. They can go ahead and use their beat up f150s for that.
@@chrisb3976 yes keep that taco clean!!
I love my 2023 trd pro Tacoma. Nice looking truck
The 3rd gen’s are just as beautiful 😍
I just bought my new 2024 Taco TRD SPORT 4x4 over $54K…..
California is very expensive……
But I love it!!! ❤
18 gallon gas tank vs 3rd generation 21 gallon tank.
For the car play not connecting ...just hold in the volume button for a few seconds and it will reconnect
for the transmission clunkin, before you put it in park, put it in neutral and activate the parking brake, once it stops moving then put it in park.
figured that one out , thanks!
How do you change your cluster screen to look like that? Just got my TRD sport over the weekend and mine looks just a bit different
use your steering wheel controls to change it
I am still debating on a new one. I love my 3rd gen.!prices are out of control. What did your truck set you back at your location
trd sport with upgrade package, 14 inch screen was $49,670 I traded my 2019 in for 34,500
No markup, no dealer fee.
Really good trade in. Did you have a Pro?
Sport
OMG... $50k for a 4-cylinder??
Should've taken that money and put King shocks and a regear on your 3rd gen, then invested the other $8k 😂
Just bought 1. First truck in 30 years with a 4 cylinder. 4 months and still waiting for it.
it will be worth the wait! what model and package did you end up with?
That’s a great looking truck
That clunk sound you hear is you resting the truck on the “paw” gear. You need to pull the park brake when you’re on an incline or downhill slope and rest the truck on that. The Care Care Nut has a UA-cam channel and he explains that in one of his videos. It’s not good for that paw gear, when you do that.
Thanks for the tip
Came here to say this 😂
Did you lift your truck or just get a front leveling kit? Whats the specs for your rims and tires? I like how it sits.
no lift, 265/70/18
You can move couches, just put the tail gate down and it’ll turn into a 8 foot bed or longer. I do it all the time in my 2nd gen.
Ive done it too, im just saying its not good for that to be doing all the time
What size tire? And is there any lift?
no lift, 265/70/18
i was going to get the new tacoma until i saw the new zr2 in person. Those new zr2's look totally badass in person and cheaper too.
@@wd8085 they are clean!!!
Did you put bigger tires on? I have a 24 TRD sport too and just hit 1600 mile and love it
just the next size taller
I love my 24 taco, the 22 was good but I love the way it is driving so far. No more gear hunting issues. I am trying to get a tonneau cover right now , but thinking in a year I may try to get a rooftop tent. Any plans on changing wheels?
I think ill keep these wheels for a while, im liking them alot. Im super picky when it comes to wheels idk what id get lol
Nice looking truck. I went for the Sport in the Underground color. What wheel/tire setup are you running?
@@mtb_lou9074 they are the trd pro replicas. Tires are Toyo open country at3 265/70/18
@@TacomaDanwhere did you got the replica? The oem are out of stock
Looks good... How's it shifting is it pretty smooth... I can feel mine shifting from 1st to 2nd & 3rd a little harder than the higher gears seem real smooth.. Also I love the pro grille but I also like the trd grille... Definitely subscribing to get some ideas for my Off road
ive also noticed that them lower gears arent the smoothest... especially from a cold start 1st to 2nd is always weird, I was told it was still "learning" my driving habits so we will see if it gets better in the future. I also wanted the pro grille but wish there was one in matte black instead of the gloss black
Hey nice truck what wheels and tires do you have ????
How much can the dealer bring down the price? Love your video👌❤️
Every dealer is different
3rd gen paint chipped all around the windows, they wldnt fix even though i had paint protection plan lol so yea good luck on being taken care of.
lol I work at a body shop so Im taken care of either way 😂
@@TacomaDan lucky you,but what the hell my fords paint is in way better condition and its 10 years older. Who cares about where you work.
@@seaneastman6323 I do. I care about where I work
Good luck with that chipped paint though
I have 2017 taco sports 25k hardly out in the sun the paint chipped around the window too
Are those oem trd pro wheels ? Also what size tires you got on ?
@@carlosskrr they are aftermarket trd pro replicas, tires are 265/70/18
Nice video. Please do one about the wheels! Not enough info out there
what kind of info are you needing!?
@@TacomaDan I’m curious about dimensions of wheels and tires, if it’s the same as the trd pro for that year. If you needed a lift etc.
What size tires you got?
265/70/18
@@TacomaDandid you need to lift it or anything or just put the tires on ?
you need some weather tech mats asap buddy, my ocd is losing it😨
😮
I checked for weather tech they don't have a listing for the rear may go husky liner or rough country and seat covers
@@crashsoome they have front and rear, I just put the front in my truck
Nice review but missing wheels discussion. These look like TRD Pro wheels which i know are not factory wheels on Sport or OffRoad Model.
This video is not about my wheels
Are those the TRD Pro wheels and tires?
Were the wheels avail thru the dealership?
They are TRD pro replicas. Aftermarket wheels designed to look like the pros. The tires I got myself. I’m sure you can source the pro wheels through the dealer but they’re gonna want a pretty penny
@@TacomaDan where are the wheels from? I want some myself.
@nickd2423 these wheels were ordered in early june from wheelwiz.ca, they are a canadian based site. i live in kansas and they arrived in only about a week. at the time I was looking, there wasnt anything available in the states. I would look around there might be some available for order in the states now.
@@TacomaDan thanks for the info Dan, I'm Canadian so should be easier to order. keep up the work on the videos. good job
you should save on shipping!!!
was you able to get a good deal ?dealer discount?
I didnt get an actul discount off the msrp but convinced my dealer to give me more for my trade than kbb was recommending. Different dealers will do different things, my dealer couldnt keep these on the lot so they werent really offering discounts. where as if there is dealers that have a bunch then they might be able to do something
$50k and basic cloth seats... You tell me
@@m.687 😂😂 crybaby
@@TacomaDan If I were you I'd be crying at how hard Toyota bent you over.
You may want to get police involved.
@@TacomaDan Try not to take this personally. When you post videos on UA-cam you must accept any and all criticism.
on the Toyota care you can use up the 3 they provide before you pay . on my 3rd gen i used all 3 in 1st 2 years . but now i do my own
Thanks for the info
I love heated seats and steering wheel. Probably won’t buy another vehicle without them.
im starting to come around
I’m 5,8’ , my teenagers sit back there just fine!
It’s all an illusion! 😂
Are thoes aftermarket trd wheels ?
@@trd-ricky6904 yes
What’s the name of your other channel with 30,000 subscribers?

@@TacomaDanI looked but I couldn’t find it. Thanks
@@Commentleaver-c6x ruthlessdk is the old name I just changed it not too long ago
im in Mn do not need heated wheel or seats, That will save ya like $4000
eh
Video brought to you by Toyota 😂😂
@@calexico1975 yeah they paid me 25k
Nice silver color man. 👍🏼.. I ended getting a blue crush sports with pretty much option you have.. I also have a 3rd gen, it is a much better ride and fun overall compared to my 3rd.. I didn’t do the 1K oil change. Oil was still clean even at 5k.. I opted for the 10k interval, ones my freebies runs out I will be doing all work myself. Anyone knocking these new taco simply just hate Toyota or have nothing better to do 😂..
I love that blue crush man! I still haven’t done my oil but plan on doing it tomorrow! Most people that hate them are 3rd gen owners that cannot get one 😂
What’s the tire size
265/70/18
I dislike the back seat. Too cramps and too small. Another dislike is the quality of those drive modes. They feel pretty cheap. What’s happening with Toyota’s quality?
dont get it!!!
After 7000 mile you need another motor and a trams after 10000😊
im on my third trans
My GR Supra has same issue with apple car play.
really? hopefully a software update can solve it, not super annoying but sometimes it can be inconvenient. hows the supra???
its not just apple, im android and it happens too.
Wow
I'm sure they'll patch it up eventually, it's not that big of a deal. It's like any other computer or smartphone, just turn it off or reset it and it usually starts back up fine
let me break that 69 comment counter
I have a feeling that you have not research enough on the toyota Tacoma before buying it.
Seeing the top comment, that already proves my statement.
Also, the FAN can be turn down to FAN lower speed and just turn up the temp.
😂😂😂
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma has a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and a five-year perforation warranty with no mileage limits. Moreover, Tacoma hybrids have an additional eight-year/100,000-mile hybrid warranty and a 10-year/150,000-mile battery warranty.
I have a lifetime power train
Yes… it’s a Toyota… but not the same Toyota used to be. 😅 Btw.. enjoy 😊
definitely new toyota is t the same as old toyota. The new TGNF platform killed the robustness of the truck imo. Smaller fuel tank, smaller tire carrier, shock mounted bump stops like a car, fully boxed in frame only reinforced in the areas “needed”, low hanging fruit of an axle back exhaust, no more access cabs!. Lots to list tbh. i’m glad i didn’t trade in my 3rd gen access cab
i agree with most but there is still basically access cab tacomas
1k review is too early comeback at 100k.
@@c7406-q8c ok I’ll delete the video
Just turn the radio ann
on
Stupid toyota won't bring v8 back 😢
tundra!!!
3rd Generation 21 gallon gas tank.
4th Generation 18 gallon gas tank.
So bland inside
yeah i should get rid of it
