I stopped flying after I was abruptly taken aside by two burly female airport security guards who thought I was hiding a concealed weapon. That 'weapon' was the metal in my arm, having broken both radius and ulna. I showed them the scars from surgery but I still had to shoved into a room where I was interrogated and barked at. When they finally let me go and I flew back home to the UK, I swore I would never fly again. I was returning from attending my Mum's funeral and being interrogated like a criminal was the last straw for me.

I’m a retired airline pilot who hates, absolutely hates, the idea of flying ever again.
I am in my late 60's. A new humiliation at Manchester that I faced a couple of years ago had me remove both shoes and then socks. The guy then had me balance on one leg while he swabbed the soles of my feet! WTF. Only happened once. I asked a security guard on the next trip and he had never heard of it. I assume the guard did it for a laugh and to see what he could get away with?

So you get frisked leaving and re- entering the UK with a British passport, but come in on a dinghy with no papers ect, arriving illegally and you get treat like a king, free accommodation food ect. Well that certainly makes sense, NOT!!

I agree the shambolic arrivals daily on our coast makes a mockery of standing their patiently with your passport in your hand waiting to get back into your own country. I dread my poor granddaughter going on holiday she is type 1 diabetic wears a Dexecom and an insulin pump. I know the Spanish will be dreadful

I'll never forget going through the boarding security check at Birmingham airport some years ago after 9/11 and 7/7.
Ahead of me were two women in full burkas with a stroller packed with bags.
They were waved through. No passport check, no check of their baggage going onto carry on.
I however, an obvious Englishman... blond, business suit, briefcase...was required to open my bag, take off my shoes, belt and be frisked.
That day i knew it was game over for our nation.
I sold up and emigrated not long after . When our politicians, police and border control will not protect us theres no point in staying.
True Story. Sis in law and I did a mini European Tour. Paris, Rome, Venice. Got mugged in Paris, spent two days with Brit Consulate and Gendarmes. Got Gold Emergency Passports and permission to continue to Italy. No further problems. Until we landed back at Heathrow. Wow. We were questioned, had to produce the gendarme and the official juge statements and had our passports confiscated. As BRITS, that was shameful. In my own country! ?
Was robbed in Alicante...at Easter..had to wait 5 days for the embassy to give me a temporary passport...meanwhile no money...treated like a criminal by Police Benidorm.
Yet, if I had hit hitchhiked to Calais and managed to get on a dinghy...I would have been treated like the proverbial royalty...makes no sense

I have not travelled abroad for years and I object to the invasive questioning at airports in the name of 'Security, removing my shoes and being scanned like a criminal. I am aged 77. Travelling to me is an unpleasant experience, especially to the U.S..
So glad I live in a peaceful cottage in a beautiful, seaside, rural region and so am on permanent holiday. All I hear at night are cows and sheep. I have zero desire to fly anywhere. And I have not and never will comply with their tyranny. I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees. Never got the clot shot - never got Covid.
Fair play to you, love to be the same as you instead of living in a shoebox in the city! Wasn't fooled by those jibjabs either and no convid so all good.

I stopped flying when I stopped working. I no longer have need to travel and with no desire to renew my passport I fully intend to live out my life in the land of my birth. I get the impression I might be needed. Yes, die on your feet, you only bend your knee for your creator not a person, not an icon and certainly not to a government.

Don’t fly. Buy a cheap inflatable boat and head for any beach in the UK…there you will find a welcome committee; free medical and dental care, food, clothing, housing. It’s bliss. Just tell any official that your country is no longer safe and that you feel your ‘at risk’ living there (use an accent!) You’ll be hunky dory in the UK.

I returned from leave in the army years ago. I handed over my passport and the guy laughed saying I knew it was you. We both laughed. He was from the same town as me in Scotland and went through school as friends with my young brother. Cleared and off for my bus a walking easter egg with a clip board asked where I was going. Bugger all to do with you beat it. Sir! Don't call me sir or patronise me. I'm cleared of passport control so your clip board means nothing. But sir I'm here for security. What? Questioning potential threats who will give you all the answers. I'm going back to barracks after much appreciated leave earned in Iraq now step aside and mind your manners.

I was on a connecting flight to England a few years ago that was laid over in Iceland. AS we were making our way through the airport at Reykjavik I was pulled to the side for a "random" security screening.
I was travelling with my wife and three kids (now increased to four), one of whom was an infant. It had been a struggle on the first flight out from DC and we were all tired, frustrated, and just wanted to get to England. As soon as they picked me (having bypassed multiple single men, and couples without kids) my wife, bless her, piped up immediately: "Pick someone else".
She repeated that when they tried to insist before they (rather sheepishly) decided to find another "random" victim.
Although that situation is unique and probably a one-off it does show you that saying "No" to draconian dictates can and will work - sometimes.

This is why I refuse to fly anywhere. If I wanted to travel to Scotland, then I'd drive my petrol car there. In fact, if I travel anywhere but local to me, I drive my petrol car, if they do take away our cars, then I won't travel anywhere but local to me. I do not want to be involved in any of their mind control/brain washing games, and so I go the opposite way every time, and I will continue to do so for the remainder of my life, which thank God, will be a shorter time than I've already had.

I remember back in the old days when i could just rock up at Heathrow and buy a nightflight/standby/youth fare (Under 21) cost to Edinburgh £3.The bus was £4 and the train £5. No checks or security.....Happy days indeed.

Since 9/11, my husband and I have flown several times. I've watched others being patted down and then scanned with the x-ray machine that shows your everything, including the fillings in your teeth. I've actually never been patted down. I never had a stranger put their gands in a place that's private. I sometimes think about these women who have suffered SA. How horrific that process must be for them.
We dont fly anymore. The planes are not safe. Since they started DEI, you have absolutely no idea who's flying. Planes are falling apart. Now it could be sabotage or incompetence, whi knows! We dont fly!
Yes, i am one that was totally insulted by the Ukrainian flag being flown on the floor. They've never done that even with the American flag. The US is being jerked around by the globalist, and i am not ok with what they're doing with our tax money or to our country.

As a disabled single mum in a wheelchair, I have travelled the world with my children and disability. The help was amazing and meant I could do what most folk take for granted.
However, I will no longer fly again. It is so stressful, I am searched and swabbed at every opportunity. I have been told to remove my artificial leg (meaning dropping my trousers and removing prosthetic with no privacy or dignity.) I feel vulnerable and minuscule. I have refused and suggested that I will simply go home.
The world is a terrible place that requires love, kindness and tolerance of others. United we stand, divided we fall.

The last time I went through airport security, and mind you, I have TSA pre-check, people were getting themselves ready for the first round of x-ray machines for carry-on luggage. The snarky 20 something female TSA agent kept condescendingly yelling at people for taking their laptops out of their bags. She yelled at some lady who tried to politely tell her that there were signs in the hallway leading up to the security gate specifically saying that you had to take your laptops out of your bags. She was exceptionally snarky and rude to this woman for even suggesting it. I spoke up and asked her why she had to have such a poor attitude, and then she laid into me. I got very annoyed, and started raising my voice somewhat to her, telling her she was giving everyone an attitude, yelling at everyone for doing exactly what the signs just outside the door we're telling everyone to do, and she then decided to pull rank on me, basically saying, "oh I can see we are going to have a problem here, is this really how you want your trip to end "literally threatening to use her power to end my vacation before it had even begun simply because I objected to her extremely rude and condescending and authoritarian attitude towards people who were simply trying their best to follow the contradictory rules. I don't normally use the word, but it definitely applied to her.
What I watched on TV this morning in Australia you and the rest of the world have watched the same thing everyday , what our politicians do your politicians do the rules are all the same the banks, the taxes, the cost of living, the homeless the disgusting treatment of our seniors, Same Same all over the Western countries.

Fuel tax for superyachts has never been levied.
No security bullshit applied to the smaller aircraft I flew as a pilot, I just decided if I like the look of you we are off, whole process took about 2 minutes! Luckily I liked everyone!. People should stand up and demand change to airports, I hate the big ones it is a miserable experience for everyone.
Believe none of what the government and its agitators say, ignore it, ignore them and absolutely do not vote for them - you waste your time and ruin your future.

I had no idea- I thought it was just me! lol. Good to know. I had a return ticket back home, as well as an onward ticket to another country, but got the same deal- spoken to like something they scraped off their shoe and interrogated etc. I arced up and said: "Listen love, are you REALLY accusing me of wanting to stay on here, when I come from a tropical paradise in comparison?" She did not like it but ended it and let me through. I had to wait about an hour to get my luggage though, as payback- was the very last bag to come out. TIL.
@@ozrob76 actually we were harrassed entering UK back in mid 80s and I said same thing to the stupid woman about why on earth would I want to stay in the UK when I come from Australia . . And after that way later in 2016 daughter gets stopped from entry UK because she had only just been there a few months earlier , then we learnt a well renown Brisbane pop artist was stopped from entering the UK so you can see the poms are very envious of Australians

Dehumanising has gone one step further where cash is being eliminated and our rights to be able to control our finances even in an airport. Why is it people have to tap their cards on machines like robots or pay for everything with cards? This is total utter control making you feel soulless and helpless! A feeling I experienced when flying with the infamous TUI group! A hideous experience where I was completely forced to go cashless! I did not accept their rules and fought hard to pay for excess luggage in cash. I eventually got a manager to run round to give me change in cash! If you don't ask and don't fight you end up being one of the sheeple!
I work with an African lady & she tells me the cost if living in Africa is out of control & Africans are made aware if you get to the UK, you will be allowed to stay , the best route, theyare told, is across the English channel as you do not need any documents & you will be given free accommodation & benefits. She says it basically a free for all now as regards to the UK.

My 87 year old Aunt with a pacemaker was hand searched, arms and legs spread out in little old Brisbane Australia domestic airport. I vocalised how ridiculous and unnecessary this was and l was threatened with removal. You can't even sit at the pick up area at this airport without being harassed. Love your show.

Neil you are correct, I no longer travel by air, because of the invasion of my personal rights. However they are now trying to remove Car travel as an option. EV's have software that can remotely stop them driving/ charging if Government decree's. The Government are saying they will only envoke this if it becomes "necessary"! They will decide necessary though. I'll keep my old car.
Not having flown overseas for 8yrs. I recently flew to Lanzarote . Going through security at the UK airport, my sister had her hands swpped twice because she kept testing positive of explosives. Thankfully on the third test she was passed. I then had the shock of my life with the biometric system in place at the Spanish airport and the rudeness of security. It felt like a nazi dystopian prison system, and we were the vermin passing through taking up their time. At the same time it felt dehumanising.
Does she have an angina spray? My mum had her hands and bag swabbed at Manchester airport because she had her angina spray in her bag. They obviously thought she must have been planning on blowing the plane up - in her late 80s and in a wheelchair.

I live in Cape Town South Africa and take Uber taxis. Occasionally I get a South African driver but most are from Zimbabwe, Malawi, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi etc. Half of Sub Saharan Africa want's to live here.
Just look at who the authorities go down on the knee to, who can not be criticised . They can not name the enemy who they are afraid of and demand more security for themselves, but the majority are a easy target and have not woken up yet..

About 2 weeks ago my neice and her family missed her flight and advised that there was no means of claiming any compensation. They had booked in. Later called for boarding but the staff there at Bristol Airport were so short staffed and pathetically slow that they closed the gate and about 20 people were pre emted from boarding. They had to find an hotel and alternative floght the following dy. We , as a country are getting pathetic and really controlled.
Who is the nation and religion that we are NOT allowed to question?

I am 68 born and bred in the uk as my family for generations before me,i got my first passport at 60 years old and had to go to the passport HQ for a interview i could not believe it.
It's not just Airport Security that sucks, everywhere you go,train and shopping centers and sports events, nearly all the security are of a certain demographic and most have a very micro managing attitude and are not up to speed with civil rights, especially in public
It makes me wonder if those that are coming off the Boats are going straight into Security 🤔
It's all about not wanting people to travel, to make the experience as unpleasant as possible.

I went to New Zealand in 2006. When I arrived at Christchurch Airport I was asked when I was returning home. I said "Six months from today". Kiwis have no sense of humour. LOL.
I was patted down by an airport official leaving Auckland Airport for Hongkong..then London...l have a calm demeanor 99%of the time but the 1% came to life in the totally impersonal way the patting down was done....l can tell you l gave the officer an earful and told her l was not a criminal or a member of a local gang....etc...the experience was very off putting ...Thank you Neil for yet another interesting video.....

My post office used to have one counter where an enormous walk-in scanner had been set up. They opened it when they were busy as an extra counter. I refused to use it. If I am being scanned full-body I want to know why,and what with!! It was creepy.
What part of the country are you in? I found out yesterday at the local Kroger that the cameras are now scanning the items in self checkout as an extra "check" in addition to your self checkout, the dystopia is here, wanted to rip the camera out of the station!!!!
