I had all of the same problems as you, plus more. I am getting a second unit, but my expectations are not high. Too bad, but their Gladius is a bit better.

I use an Ipad 7th gen with a waterproof case. It works fine. Same issues as you on my Pixel 4. I agree with everything in your review. It should be better for the price.

I bought mine a while ago and it was just fine you may need to calibrate the level or the accelerometer also tie a rope to the buoy so it doesn’t float a way to far

You said they sell remote controls for these. I might be interested in one as it'd most certainly be easier to control it while connecting it to something like a chrome book. Where can I get one?
I think those are for the higher end models? I'm not sure, I never got to test one

I have the dory controller. Very good system. I used an LG G7 phone. It worked perfect.
It's only a clear picture if the water is like Miami Beach if not it's in really no good

Is the longest cable really only 15m for this?
I just want to say on your camera review videos the bit rate is very very unsteady not a huge deal just makes it difficult interpreting the difference between them even on your other videos to it’s hard to see just how well the cameras are because it’s just very blurry but other than that the editing is amazing!

Not sure why they can't put a screen over the motor grates? I get it that it might not provide as much water flow but still?? And most underwater cameras don't give as wide a field of view. It distorts more underwater and lets in less light so in dirty or night viewing you can't see as far even if you have lights on it.

The problem with stones in the motor is common and a tool comes with the ROV to take care of them without taking the drone apart.

I won’t be buying one anytime soon it seems like a lot of trouble trying to make it work properly nice video though thanks.i forgot to say the should put some finer mesh over the motors
By the time it's finally working correctly, whups, the one hour battery is dead. Needs extra batteries or a bigger one. I'm not driving or taking a day for 1 hour of use. And three hours to charge a one hour battery? Is it just me?
$150 to $300 tops is what that product should be priced at. Then again its a very niche product so they inflate it 400-2000% on these products.
