I’m using the Shaper Origin to cut some router bit holders for a tool tray
I am using The helix feature to bore accurate holes with ease, the. Lining them with these handy “Rockler Router Bit Storage Inserts”
You can find them here:

Having this portable cnc router in my workshop has been an absolute gamechanger for me, making my woodworking more accurate, as well as more fun.

I just cut 198 of these darn holes for those self-same plastic router bit holders with my Origin this weekend. Love the helix feature for that. Really should have just used the regular CNC but the drawer insert I was cutting the holes into was too large for it. I used 3/4" MDF and cut to a depth of 18mm with a 1/4" bit. I noticed by not cutting all the way through the MDF that the helix operation left behind a very thin vertical plug which I had to remove with a pair of long nose pliers. Other than that, a few hours of work, and all my router bits are now properly organized.
I’d like to have a gantry cnc router as well for things like 198 holes!
