You’re an amazing painter man. I am always so amazed that you can airbrush the base layers and then get those details on top without completely destroying the airbrush layers. My hands just aren’t that steady.
Beautiful job. I particularly like that you didn’t over edit and make it look like you finished one piece at a time and instead let us see how you flow. Not only are you a masterful painter you are great at making videos that keep us interested in what your saying and doing. The lighting and sound are always on point in my opinion and I personally appreciate that tremendously because we all know there are some other content creators that are great at whatever their particular skill is but video production is not one of them. You on the other hand are a wizard so of course you can do it all. Please keep it up and thanks for what you do.
Thank you dude. That’s really kind of you to say. I am trying to make them more engaging and I’m learning more and more. It’s not easy to make a full video about painting something and especially not easy in my current setup but I’m working on it. Thank you for watching dude! And for enjoying!
I'm new to painting and am just getting started on some 75mm busts for practice. I would love to see a video on any tips or tricks you might have for 35mm minis!
"Have you leveled your bed lately" there are some in the 3D printing community who would have you shot for saying that 😂😂. Love your work so keep it up buddy.
Looks great. The colours really pop!! Still trying to get to grips with the skin tones with the fairy flesh set think I’m not watering down the layers enough. 👍🏻
Loving your work! Trying to absorb some of your skill by osmosis to apply to my own models. Question: what brand of metalics did you use? I've been struggling to find a decent bronze and yours looked great. Thanks bhu x
I want to. But I will need another camera. Usually printing while prints are printing and the camera is focused on the work I’m doing otherwise you’d just get a Timelapse and no painting. Hopefully be able to afford another camera soon.
I need to go through your videos on my next off day from work to see if you have something that encompasses a lot of info for someone really new so I can go ahead and get some of my 3d prints painted
This time it was the right scale. But I’ve had to scale a few models for Djinnwars and there’s a great tool in lychee for this. Perhaps a video to be made around that!
You can learn to paint as the best version of yourself as a painter is capable. Anyone can. You just have to have some conceptual understanding and put in the hours, and you will inevitably improve. Brent would probably tell you the same thing.
Yea Doug said basically exactly why I said. You’re in the right place though. Just keep sucking in information. It’s about the knowledge and then the practice of that knowledge.
@@Groundeffected Brent do you have a Discord channel? I’d be willing to support you on Patreon to get access to it. I love your positive attitude and the no nonsense no time for your negativity edginess as well.
@@dougpridgen9682 yea dude. It’s private only for patreons. Lowest tier gets in too. So much good info shared in there too no one tells you to level your bed when you having issues with a print either.
My choice would be whatever paint is easiest to get a hold of. Any of the brands of acrylic model paints are really good so just find one that’s more available to you!
Great job, as usual! Tried your Vallejo Nocturna recipe on a 32mm scale mini, it ended up pretty nice (although I’m a complete noob on this xD). By the way, I don’t see any spray booth, do you just spray over your workbench?
Nice. And yea I’m basically a savage at this point. I’ve learned though to use pressure control and I spray very little paint just to n the parts I need it on and don’t have much over spray but saying that I still have dust in my house. Im just waiting to be able to move into a studio space for this but right now I don’t have space on my table for a cup of coffee and every shelf in my house is a model stand so hopefully I can get into a studio soon.
@@Groundeffected Is it a game and/or a Kickstarter? I'll look it up. I mostly do the D&D/Warhammer type fantasy stuff, but who doesn't love big models and superheroes? I appreciate the things I can learn from others who are hobby adjacent. Thanks!
Question. Did you print those bases in resin? Your body language says... "I can't wait till they follow the instructions at the end of the video". LMAO!

Man it is just practice. And thank you dude. Hope to pry the info I have onto all you who watch these videos.
That bluquoise is nice.
😂 haha thanks bruh.

Its not until you goto paint you realise how talented you are
Haha thank you 🙏

would love to see a video on any tips or tricks you might have for 35mm minis!
I’ve painted a few miniatures in a couple videos. I use the same techniques my dude.
I level my bed everyday...makes me feel like I did something for the day.
Hahaha i level my bed as little as possible. Seriously I’d rather increase exposure or press my bottom layers lower before I level the bed. Hahaha
"Have you leveled your bed lately" there are some in the 3D printing community who would have you shot for saying that 😂😂. Love your work so keep it up buddy.
Lol. That saying drives me nuts. I say it in sheer jest at those dang butt heads online who answer that for any questions ever
speaking of forgetting, and vats. I forgot the screws on my vat last night and had a print fail. thankful that's all that happened.
Oof that’s a poo one. Hahaha can say I’ve not done that one yet.
Excellent job once again Brent, great model and video on painting it bud. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks bro. See you in the next one!!
Another detailed explanation and visual presentation !!! Keep up the great content !
Thanks dude. Glad you liked it!!
🎉 amigo está fenomenal!!! No dejaras de asombrarme . wooow
Looks great. The colours really pop!! Still trying to get to grips with the skin tones with the fairy flesh set think I’m not watering down the layers enough. 👍🏻
Yea maybe. Make them thin as heck you can always add more layers.
that's frigging Amazing
Thank you dude.
You such a great painter! I like watching your videos
Thank you dude.
Smashed it!
Thanks dude.
Looks fantastic Brent! also thanks for the tips like sealing white prior to painting the rest of the part.
No problem dude. It’s my pleasure.
Another great video! Thanks!!
Thank you man!
Looks fantastic...
legend
Thanks bruh!
amazing work as always brother
Thanks my dude.
Really love your work.
Thank you so much dude.
Another great video! Video editing is top notch also!
Thank you so much 🙏
Incredible skill Love watching your videos
I love the way you do eyes. I would have never thought of using black *first*! I think I need to start working on some larger models 🙃
Totally stole the idea from miniature painters. But they were easy to overpower and take their idea hahah
Superb work as always bro :) I really look forward to your videos, your an inspiration to us all thank you :)
Thank you for watching my dude. And I’m god to be of some kind of help in any way.
Amazing work!!
Thought id leave some words down here in the box where they let us put some words.....Thanks Bruh
Thanks for the words my dude. Really appreciate it.
another great job bud
looks badass dude
Impressive 👍

I use mostly pro acryl from monument hobbies but I mix and match with some ammo by mig and armypainter
you should time lapse the prints for added content ?
I want to. But I will need another camera. Usually printing while prints are printing and the camera is focused on the work I’m doing otherwise you’d just get a Timelapse and no painting. Hopefully be able to afford another camera soon.

There is a lot!!! I wish you luck. Hope you find some useful stuff !
Did you have to scale up the model or was it 100% from the file? I find it hard to normalize files to a common scale size. Great work as usual.
This time it was the right scale. But I’ve had to scale a few models for Djinnwars and there’s a great tool in lychee for this. Perhaps a video to be made around that!

amazing work as always but what is your choice of paint for a beginner

What type of airbrush and compressor do you use.
I use iwata eclipse hp-cs and a sparmax compressor

Which printer do you use for the base, very smooth.
It’s resin. Fitted perfectly on my anycubic m3 plus.
@@Groundeffected I wish my Elegoo Jupiter would get here it's going to make a huge difference.
What is your go to brush set?
Are these models available for sale as stl files? I'm unable to find them when I search so I'm guessing not, but can't hurt to ask.
Unfortunately not. They are exclusive to Djinnwars. I’m honoured to be able to print and paint them
