I've been going towards this look since I have wavy and somewhat curly hair. I don't know why but I want to achieve long emo bangs in the front where it would cover part of my face and keep the sides and back around chin length with my ears covered. I've been seeing a lot of kids and young men and boys sporting this look quite a bit lately which is cool.
same, i’m growing out my hair because I got that exact texture but I got some swirl on the back of my head and it makes the back of my hair look uneven cause it goes more down than usual
@@iKenZ I think I have something similar myself. I also have an uneven front hairline which I've had since I was in my teens. I've been taking finasteride to help prevent any hair loss.
Literally had my hair like that a week ago, and I cut it all off due to having it in my face the whole time. You get 50% of your vision gone, because of it being in your face 24/7.
i tend to tie it up or wear a hat or something when it gets annoying

Coincidentally, this is how my curly/wavy hair looks like today. I just had a short haircut last month and it looks messy as it grows longer.
It's almost like the 60s style hair is coming back. Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd pretty much had this look from 1966-1970

A loose perm will help immensely. I would use purple rods
@@kimmy0868 I have the same problem as this guy, my hairstylist suggested me to get a loose perm with purple rods. But, i’m worried that it’s going to come out to curly.
@@redditnarrators i have fine hair and got loose perms and it definitely wasn’t curly it was the opposite. did nothing, fell out after a week. id get a curlier perm and let it fall out

Just ignore them and do what you think is good for you. I cut my long hair once when I was younger because some of my “friends” and relatives commented on my hairstyle in a negative way. Now I regret it and growing my hair back because when I wear a hairstyle that I like I feel confident

@External Sin yes my hair was straight, highly recommend a wavy perm, I now have gotten a tighter perm and regret it and miss my wavy hair.

LOL thats my haircut. I call it the lockdown. It's really cheap only requires 1 trim up per year & no shampoo. You need wavy hair though.
