That guitar of Miku's, it is her signature Zemaitis that she designed herself, called "The Flappy Pigeon." She has been playing Zemaitis since about 2016. She has several Zemaitis guitars now. There is a fun video out there of her touring the Zemaitis factory.
You can see a bunch of the Zemaitis line of guitars by watching the Cluppo Peace And Love video. I think Miku must have used them all during the production of the video.
Besides the pigeons engraved on the metal plate, but also the plate itself is in the shape of a pigeon. it also has the inlay roses made of mother-of-pearl and the leaves and stems are abalone with the kanji for "Po" stuck in there. There were only 80 total "Flappy Pigeons" made for sale.
Band-Maid has only played ICLWY once outside Japan, and I was lucky enough to be there. The Fillmore in DC/Silver Springs, October 25, 2022. There is a pretty good fancam of it. Look up Vladimir Chupin.
I don't know how Saiki sings those long lyric strings without passing out from lack of oxygen. She definitely has some kind of superpower dealing with breath control.
I was thinking, Miku could probably sing this without struggling, but then again this song is the prime example why Saiki is the lead singer. (we only have to imagine) And she must have massive lung capacity.
"I Can't Live Without You" raises my blood pressure more than any other Band-Maid song! Saiki's vocals are wicked. This song proves Band-Maid's supreme RnR prowess and should be heard by every rocker in the world, imo! Thx, Jaron, for another great reaction! 🤘🎀🤘
A while back, I mentioned this song specifically because you’re a vocalist. I knew there was no way you could hear Saiki’s superhuman air support and not take notice. Well done as always! 👍🏽
Yeah, you right Kitsune, solid! I love this song and the official video is realy great too. Definitely you need watch now "Manners/Black hole" live man. Believe me, the 2 song are amazing!! See you!! 🤟🦊🔥🔥🇯🇵
Of course this is the latest live version, no wonder Saiki sounds amazing. Saiki often struggles with high range. More precisely, constantly hitting high range without getting much breaks from it. This song came out in 2018 when they released more straight forward rock songs with some tweaks. And many fans still love this style the best
While there's still a lot of great songs from Band-Maid, Babymetal and Lovebites to get through, there are several other Japanese acts you might want to add to the rotation. *Maximum the Hormone* being an obvious one. And perhaps *Hanabie* (who actually started out as a Maximum the Hormone cover band). My personal favorite would be *Asterism;* a trio of young prodigies playing (mostly) instrumental and rather progressive metal. They are much smaller than these other groups though, so I suspect they won't get you too many views. But if you want to give them a try, _Dawn_ would be the song to start with: ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.htmlsi=kmccfDxwtpdgQWTO If you want to mix things up with a bit of metalcore & deathcore, then Japan definitely has you covered. *Deviloof, Dexcore, Jiluka, The Gazette* and *Crystal Lake* are all worth a listen. But the granddaddy of them all is of course *Dir En Grey.* They have tried their hands at many genres since they started in the 90s, but are generally a bit more on the avant-garde side of metal. And they are absolutely one of the most influential Japanese metal bands ever. If you haven't heard it already, I would say that _Vinushka_ is the track to start with. Live, not music video: ua-cam.com/video/8W0h2yht6IA/v-deo.htmlsi=x7Ni1JMOFv9NXf9y
You listen to this while driving and you'll get a ticket
Haha. Which would be ironic if you already had a ticket & was on your way to see B-M play live :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 Maybe BAND-MAID would pay your fine .
This one doesn't get enough love. Thanx! That guitar is Miku's Signature Zemaitis, The Flappy Pigeon. She helped design it.

This song is so overlooked… better, IMO, than the much more famous “Domination” from the same album.
