A F3 car with F1 engine power would be really amazing to watch if they added some downforce to it
The size of the F1 cars is partly what gives them so much downforce. I remember a few years back Mercedes were straight up making their wheelbase bigger than everybody else's for aero reasons even though that made their car heavier.
@@krayos13you can generate a lot of downforce by loosening the regulations, making F3 generating more downforce than F1 (proportionally to mass) wouldn't be difficult.
Btw superkarts (being limited to 1.3 meters width by regulations) are able to generate as much downforce as F1 proportionally to their weight (driver included) at the same speed.
They're also quite interesting to watch due to their extreme oversteer.

@@RandomCommenter-qu2oc The weight is determined by the FIA, not the designers tbh. If they allowed the weight to go down 60kg, I'm sure some would sacrifice a bit of car length to get down to the minimum weight.

If F1 never introduced all the stupid hybrid crap the cars could remain as small as they are in F3 potentially. I got to see and sit in an old F3 car recently and you really can just tell how much better a car like that would be at Monaco. I could actually see the end of the nose from the seat unlike most modern F1s.

Imo, bringing back the 2009-13 regulation with the V6(ya I know that some gonna say put the V8 or V10 but this won't happen😭) with the Halo and with new safety regulations and you got everything we want(except for the engine sound)
