Quick tip: the best source of early energy before fission reactor is wind generators at max height connected with quantum entangloporters. The crafting is a lil bit expensive for the beggining but its worth it. 400J/t per one generator as I remember.
This. Started the mod and was burning, quite literally through fuel, then realised after reading a reddit post, a lava block on top generates passive heat 😂
Great video! I am currently playing on atm9 and I have few tips for mekanism reactors: - You don't have to manufacture sulfur using mekanism processing. You can just put sulfur from railcraft reborn or gregtech directly in chemical oxidizer. - You don't have to choose in deuteriun and tritium / d-t fuel when powering Fusion reactor. Just put 3 inputs in reactor, make shure it will not run out of deuterium and tritium and supply it with additional d-t fuel - You can even skip producing lithium from brine by puting lithium dust from gregtech directly into chemical oxidizer. This I don't full recomend beacouse lithium is not as common as sulfur. - Also in my opinion there is no need to setup windturbines to get energy from fission reactor. Just void all steam and use nuclear waste to get better and safer fusion reactor
Dude, start to finish i was just hooked on this entire tutorial. Thank you so much for dedicating the time to put it out there. I was worried about a big tech mod to put in a modpack and im happy i landed on Mekanism ! Quick question for you, do you have any recommendations for mods that would go with this one? I currently have Refined Storage in there, but any other big tech mods? or Am i pretty much set? Again thank you for such a well detailed tutorial, and i can't wait to get started on this !
Aw thankyou! Mekanism is amazing when you know how. To go with it id say EnderIO, thermal expansion.. EnderIO cables can fit all in one block so its pretty gamechanging 😁
Great tutorial! I'd only advise to never put two inputs/outputs directly next to each other on the fusion or fission reactors. If the pipe types match they will merge when one empties or even on a bad chunk load, backfilling the system and potentially creating a bit of a nightmare.
@@JaviHerobrine no mention of chunk border issues, so that's promising. It's tiring doing the calculations to be within the 14x14x14 area of a chunk to avoid those issues lol Thanks for that info. Now I can slap them down in a proximity style grid instead of precise landings. Oh wait. Two more questions: do they have proximity issues (e.g. if they overlap, they stop working) and is it crazy to have more than one unit running (e.g. lag, conflicts between multiple units running even if more than 64 blocks apart or different dimensions, etc)?
Im pretty sure you are able to use deuterium, tritium and dt fuel at the same time to power fusion reactor. That way i think you can run reactor without fear of it shutting down and boost it with additional dt fuel. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.
@@JaviHerobrineI just checked it and it absolutely works. My reactor with injection rate 2 went from producing 398kfe/t to 1.55mfe/t with just one additional chemical infuser which is not even working with 100% capacity
You’re awesome man. Literally the only guide who actually gives you the full walkthrough to mekanism.
Ty buddy!
"I sure do hope I can get some osmium!"
The sea of andesite beneath my base:
that is literally heaven for create players
@vasllup9075 I'm playing create mekanised and I have to travel 3000 blocks to get andesite

Ooooo with quantum entangloporters thats a good shout!
Quick tip, you can lava-log a heat generator by shift clicking it with a lava bucket. It still works

You can place lava blocks on every side of heat generator except power output
@@Fotowoltaika_Pl You can lava-log your cables, too
@@danihk2872 I didn't know that, thanks for the advice

Also from what I have read online injection rate in fusion reactor can be only even numbers - I don't remember was it mentioned in the video
i was strokin my shi while watching
Same I be gooning to minecraft tutorials

Oh 💔 society 😭
What in gods name
my therapist read this message, they're letting me kill myself now
what a odd shape your solar panels are in
it really does suck that the natural way that people will place advanced solar panels in creative results in a swesticle
An absolute gem
Omg you uploadet that 2 hours ago thank you 😍😍
No problem 😊

Oh god yeah fantastic tip... This happens waaaay too much with gas pipes in my 5x ore setup
You can use the configuration to separate them, so they will never connect
now this is a masterclass
tysm!
Thankyou!!!!
My second PRC isnt taking on the liquid ethylene for some reason
What do plastic blocks do?
Amazing Video
I really appreciate it :)
For the digital miner, if you happen to drop it at an intersection with an anchor, would it keep all 4 chunks loaded?
It'll keep loaded, whichever chunks it's mining in, rather than the chunks its placed in

With 1 chemical infuser working in full power this setup is making over 100mfe/t
How to make these block selection stuff?
If you're talking about miner, I do it by adding tags *diamond, *osmium, *iron etc. And *ores for all ores.
What’s on the top of the thermal evaporation building 🤔😂
Advanced Solar panels - they speed up how quickly the thermal evap works. :D (I assume thats what it was anyway lmao)
@@JaviHerobrine that is not what he was asking he was asking about why did you put a swastika on top of the tower
bro pls if you can tell me the name of the mod that shows information or the modpack
At top of screen? "The One Probe" - In inventory on the right is "Just Enough Items"

The QIO is imho useless. For that coast and when you get it, at that time you have already the all mighty god AE2 up and running.
