My local dealers have never discounted anything. And if they did, they would just make back the profits with financing. Same game different day. I have watched many videos implying sky is falling, and yet nobody is out of business
@@Bonsai-Miata2020 It is all nonsense to get clicks and viewers. He is not only wrong, but failed to do any research before posting inaccurate information. Ford and GM actually sold well this year. Prices are crazy, but you get get STX - F150 under 40k at the moment. You can get XLT 4wd f-150s in the low 50s in Texas. Yea, not every truck is a 100k. A top of the line and lifted truck is or more.
These UA-camrs post the most unrealistic information. Rumors, ok lol. Let’s base a video off nothing factual. There is not going be price drop-30-35% or more.. Prices will go down, but that is unrealistic. Ford has also sold well this year, so again, misleading information. I hate high prices as much as anyone. This is all nonsense. There are tons of STX trucks, which is also a XL truck. Again, misleading information. STX trucks are dime a dozen.
I don't understand FORD and GM reported good truck sales for 2024, FORD came close to their sales record of 2019, so people are buying trucks. Dealers want lots full (you would not walk into a store with empty shelves?), lease a few high end trucks as show pieces to get people on the lot (forecast long lot inventory on high end trucks) then sell lower end XLT or LT models. Dealer inform me buyers want lifted, big tire off road trucks, they sell and people are not interested in normal or high end luxury trucks, and have difficult time selling unmodified trucks. Dealers know what they are doing and what sells, and the corporate sales number don't lie.
valid point besides the fact that corporations and car stealers are known liars and scammers. Books are getting cooked somewhere along the line because I see lots and lots of " new" 22-24 model years out there.
I've been in the car dentist as a deal of 30 years. The numbers are inflated. You have to understand that the car dealer makes their money by selling to the consumer the the manufacturers make their money by selling to the dealer through the allocations. The dealers are then left on the hook to get rid of that inventory. They're sitting on inventory that they can't move. That's not a good look for them. So you're misinformed. Believe me. I know this formula right now. The inventory is costing them to have flooring plan issues because they cannot move the metal and in order to do that to have to/the prices, ford may have seen record sales mainly because of two things fleet sales along with manufacturers and overproduction, especially on certain models. I'm telling you what I know. Been in this game a long time from New York city so the sales numbers do lie because they're misleading right now. The car business is going through a correction. It's not doing well. Over 3 million cars sit on locks but yet they won't lower the prices substantially to allow buyers to buy who can afford them. That simply what it is. Decades in his business is one of the best I can tell you if I know this for a fact. What we have to do is sit back and wait and let the correction intensify which it will do as a country goes into a deep recession because it's here. This is a cyclical business, always has and always will be and the cycle is a downturn right now. They've had their peak. Now it's time to pay mother nature back and she will collect. I'm already seeing $10K to $15K off stickers in my area. It will be just like the housing market crash in 2008/2009. People are tired of getting screwed by these companies.
Just stop, if you are a car enthusiasts it's worth every penny. I have spent over 500k on new cars and trucks since 2019 and I've loved every moment. I'm sure you have a vice that others would think is a waist of money.
@@sleeeper88 The average person isn't buying a car because they want one though. That's the problem with ordinary vehicles being sky high. Sure if you want a car with 900 horsepower and can turn 2.8gs on a skid pad at 80 mph then spend all of the money you want, but no basic truck should be starting at $40K. That's insane.
@@reemro8760you totally missed the point. I own three cars a house and have a credit on my credit card at the end of the month. Im above average kiddo
Exactly....that's another problem. I purchased a New 2021 F150 King Ranch...was my retirement present to myself. Got a GREAT deal on the truck. Has been in the shop for the power steering failure 3 times in the past 8 months. Now they are telling me the steering gear will have to be replaced (of coarse it's not under the 3/36 warranty, which expired in Jan 24. That's a $3700 repair and my truck has 17,500 miles on it. Now I would expect that a $74,900 truck would not have these kind of issues with this low mileage, but NO. Just BS quality on all the new vehicles out there right now.
If you live in a dump area your ford dealership might be struggling but in the places where things are happening fords are selling out. So your video title is goofy.
They’re not going to change the msrp, they will push out rebates and $$ off certain models. They’ve done this many times years ago but stopped during covid because they could not keep up. I remember for years at certain times of the year getting 10-15k off the price with rebates.
Yea I bought one of the 100k truck for 35k cause it had 4 flat tires and been going there for the same truck over the past year lol kept lowering the offer until they approve it. Plus the snow gonna rust it so it can sit there like a expensive brick sitting on the lot
That’s not the issue, they have to give everyone raises and more benefits. Part of it is greed, part of it is higher executive management think they deserve more money too, along with huge bonuses. That’s going to stop on those bonuses for awhile at least.
It's not just the price. Contractors have seen business slow down. The normal tax write off incentive just isn't there. The guys are hanging on to their trucks. The accounts and gym teacher posers are priced out. The industry ran through the guys with money to burn. All that's left are regular guys, and their wives are not about to give the ok on an 1500 car note when eggs are 5 bucks a dozen and little Jimmy's tuition for private school is coming up.
Truck prices really have gotten totally insane! Paying over 50K for a Ford XLT is terrible. The dealers have priced out so many customers. Toyota is just as bad with the Tundra.
I recently found your channel and i found it great! the only feedback i would give to you is that you can improve on the thumbnails. other than that great content, you earned a sub :)
Between the manufacturers loosing focus on what customers want and dealers putting on market adjustments selling these overpriced vehicles they finally hit a wall and we all refuse to pay. Maybe now they will adjust there MSRP to get back to reality. Also the dealer add ons with finance has to stop as well or these will sit on the lot and rot.
The best thing that could happen is people stop buying the over priced vehicles none of them are worth the price that they are asking i hope the government doesn't balance them out dealers de severe what happens to them
The manufacturers all knew what was coming in terms of the markets. They manufacturered colors that will be the cheapest options. You want light medium or dark?
Wow, Ford only sold over 700,000 FSeries pickups in 2024. And Ford still hasn't matched Super Duty production with sales. The biggest rebate on F150 is on the 2024 Powerboost hybrid.

Plenty of STX during the holidays for 36k. How much more can you expect ? That is a full size truck and 325hp and 400 torque.
Doom and gloom is actually creating terror which is what a terrorist does....I loved your show in the beginning....
Bunch of baloney...no way you're gonna get an f150 for $36000
