      Alcoas would be nice on her, but I'm liking the black paint on the stock wheels for now. Such a simple easy thing as that really goes a long way and it fits the look of the truck so well.

      @@1320fastback, true, when I bought my 7.3 I replaced all the known bad parts that tend to go bad & plague the motor, I replaced the IPR, injector dual harness that rattles loose inside the valve cover, the ICP, the stock CPS, sone worn-out pig-tails under the hood, I wired open the ease gate with some wire to hold it open, delete port is coming soon for better flow rate, I deleted my exhaust, I'm gonna do a stack on it soon but the $$$ isn't there yet, meanwhile, I swapped the 4.10 rear end with a 3.55 I got from a friend for $100, haven't driven it much because of the C-Virus Nonsense. Its much happier & likes HWY speeds much better now.
      Before I couldn't go above 80mph without it screaming, I love my truck & I want only the best for it, the mpg wasn't great, if I stayed @65 I could get 16mpg. Now I can do 70 & be getting 18-20mpg, its practically idling @70 now, I rarely tow anything over 2-3000lbs.
      long-lived these old trucks! WD makes me sad when he just destroys trucks just for the fun of it, if you're gonna destroy a truck, get a New Sema truck & made after 07.

      @@jacobcannon36 yeah they do sadly but your better off buying a 4x4 one instead of converting a 2wd the problem with the regular cab 2wd models the front section of the frame have a tendency to twist and stretch from the weight of the 1100lb cummins cause it was originally meant for a 500lb 360 gas engine they just weren't built heavy enough and if you had a 4x4 plow truck one of these they'll break the frame off eventually from the weight of the plow and plow gear, 4x4 running gear, and the cummins I love these trucks but they were sadly never that great for work overtime.

    Awesome truck! There is a elderly Gentleman Farmer here in Jonesborough, TN that has a 93 D350 4x4 Extended Cab. It's not a dully. Everyone has tried to buy it, but he will tell you quickly it is going to his Grandson when he grows up! Funny thing is he is now I think 24 years old! That truck is a 5 speed and in original condition. He pulls a 24 Featherlite cattle trailer loaded full like it's nothing when moving cattle between farms or going to one of the sales with calves. He also has a gooseneck flat bed trailer and hauls up to 18 4x5 round bales like there is nothing behind it! He just keeps it serviced, keeps it clean, and works the crap out of it!

One place brake fluid got on and took clear coat off besides that no issues. Everything original. It’s a 3rd gen of course but no rust anywhere body in perfect shape. It’s now just to weekend truck to move stuff and house stuff. Been garage kept it’s whole life and in garage with wax on it now. It won’t see the rain. Very nice find you found!

    Man, is that thing Purdy! I've got a '91 2wd D250 with authentic red patina. My mom bought it and some tools for me when I was 16. I had to make it run. Still have to baby the clutch, but it can now almost reach freeway speeds. I love it.

    Even though it’s a dually, and only 2wd that’s still a nice truck
    Edit: there’s 5 people who saw this video that don’t have a good taste in trucks

    • @Cordell-
      @Cordell- 4 роки тому +2

      Deez Nuts I highly disagree. I use a 4wd dually nearly every day for work on a farm. Its not pointless, trust me

    • @Cordell-
      @Cordell- 4 роки тому +3

      Deez Nuts 4wd can go many places that a 2wd vehicle cannot. Mud, plant residue, and brush all hinders traction. Also backing wagons/trailers uphill, 4wd helps a lot. Not to mention pulling stuck tractors and other trucks

    • @fishman3406
      @fishman3406 4 роки тому +1

      I personally like my 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons, but duallys are really good for towing, 4x4 duallys are just street legal tractors if you ask me.

    Mine is D250 but same year engine and transmission(maroon). Just had it rebuilt trans 145k original miles. It has a grill guard but like a farm grill. My body is scratched and beaten like a farm truck, but no rust. Still has original radiator. My dad has a 1990 dually auto(white) and my stepmom has a 91 D250 like mine auto and it is blue silver and red stripe. (hers rusty as in 91 they used galvanized). Your truck is gorgeous and it belongs in museum lol take care of it, will drive in your 80s and 90s.

    I've only seen 1 other 1st gen in that kind of shape, but a 2500 model 4x4, red white two tone with red interior. Best part was the high school kid got it from his grandpa who bought it new, knows how special it is, zero mods all stock and staying that way.
    you've got one hell of a nice collection man, I just picked up my own cummins 2nd gen 1 owner rust free rig but I paid full price. :-(

    That is my dream truck also. A first gen single cab dually. Very stunning and nicely modded a bit with the exhaust. Don’t go crazy with this truck Mabey some nice wheels and leave it. It will be worth it in the end and be a collectors truck left stock! Haha my name is Drew also. I live in Alberta Canada and I’ve owned a few diesel my favourite being my 96’ Dodge 2500 4x4 extended cab long bed 5speed. That one burnt in the wildfire we had. Some day I’ll buy another. Actually have my eye on a singe rear tire 1992 Cummins 2wd. With the 5 speed
