When I used to canvas for political candidates, once in a blue moon I would come across an old woman like this. This is so accurate it’s both funny and scary.😂
Yeah when I delivered pizzas we would get these kinds too. You don't think they're real? These people are absolutely real.
I work in a hospital and I encounter old ladies like this as well. I’ll go in, start asking questions, get confused as hell, and then see dementia listed in her past medical history and then it all makes sense haha.
@@jacobr8063 sometimes people are misdiagnosed. But, simple minds...
With a lot of old people it's entirely intentional, it's like messing with people is their hobby.
@@mansonfan78 what else are some of them going to do with their time that’s as much fun? My 84 year old dad loves to string along telemarketers. 😂😂
I remember staying up for this episode, I loved every minute. This was the last skit of the night and I thought it was the best. I was in tears by the end, perfect delivery by Mrs. White. RIP Betty.
I’m 84 years old watching this in 2024 and still enjoying Betty White. She brought so much laughter and joy to the world.
I was an enumerator for the census in 2010 and based on what I experienced, this isn’t too far off
Oh, tell some stories!
Randi's Ramulous LOL-I’m going to do it this year (well, assuming the “shelter in place” order is eventually lifted 😏). I imagine that people who are incapable of answering a few simple questions on line or by mail are fun to deal with in person.
@@vinista256 Isn't the deadline april 1st? I totally forgot that I received a letter from the census bureau a few weeks ago.

@@skeleton_wa_migraine1736 Thanks! Did it last night. It only took a few minutes, much shorter than I expected.
"These are people, not cats, right?"
"There's really no way of knowing."

wherefore we are going
and the rowers, they keep on rowing
Right when i saw this Betty said it😂
Best line 😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Got a CATS advertisement before this video and it couldn't fit any better.
Had to watch after hearing about this extraordinarily gifted lady’s passing at age 99. Heart wrenching as there will never be another like her but heart warming as heaven has gained one of the best comedians of all time
You too, she will always be Immortalize in these scenes💛💛💛
Good to see another railfan on here
What a wonderfully long life though.
She will ALWAYS be one of the best women to hit the stage!! And truly missed!! This world needs more Betty White's!!
Betty White was a comic genius! She had the timing, delivery & that innocent charm that fooled you into thinking she was naive.
Losing her & Norm Macdonald last year was devastating. RIP to both of them.
Doing a bunch of magazine covers and articles about turning 100 and then dying right after they're printed and in stores is a very Betty White way to go. Like you said, timing, delivery and charm :)
I didn’t even know about Norm Macdonald. Now I’m double sad 😢
@Lux Aeterna you know what, Lux? She would have loved the irony of putting a small dent in people’s New Year’s Eve/Day. Not never with mean-ness--it’s just that we were all home, making a vodka and eating hot dogs, we had time to reflect on her life without other things getting in the way. Nice thought of yours.
loooove Betty White
Me too. A true legend. RIP great lady.
Mark Thomas Betty White is still alive.
I saw online she passed away this morning. :(
+TheMoonGoddess11 That post was on Reddit. It's not there any longer.
She dyes [her hair] in her own home. She was actually a brunette.
The best kind of humor is people treating weird shit like it's normal or mundane and Betty White just taps into it.
Betty demonstrates the little appreciated art of contagious confusion.
Across her incredible body-of-work, I believe this SNL skit was among her best. Rest in peace, Betty, you've earned it.
She made me laugh at least 5 times in this little sketch. Testament to her brilliant comedic delivery. I'm going to miss knowing that she's still out there somewhere ready to make us all laugh again and again.
Same here because I have never seen it before. We can’t get SNL in England 🏴
At least the Golden Girls are altogether now. I can just imagine Sofia talking to God saying “Picture it, earth 1945.“ Lol 😂
Only 5?
Even in death, she is indeed, still out there ready to make us all laugh again and again.
She never lost a beat, did she? Spot on!
Kenan gave Betty white a hug. He won everything right there.
Big eyed, homeless man, in a fur coat.👍👍👍😁😁
He was chasin' a mouse!
that was Fluffy!
You could tell he was loving it 😊
Her delivery and comedic timing was always spot on decade after decade. Betty White ran a clinic on being a talented icon.
And I shall name my fist child,
BLLAARRRFENGARRR
Arceus Lord of Creation lol
Arceus Lord of Creation, don't forget it spell it correctly.
BLALARRRFENGARRR is spelled as L-E-E.
Right, sorry autocorrect
As they used to say in St. Olaf...
first not fist Fix it!! GN
Her comic timing is excellent.
yes it is
She really nailed the ending; staring into the space the census taker just left while saying goodbye, just like Walken!
This is so true! I worked for the census in 1990 and some people were just like Betty's role she played so well here. Gone but still making us laugh TY Betty.
Betty White is clearly the coolest human to have ever lived.
Facts,she hella funny
She was wonderful. There will never be another like her.
I haven't laughed this hard in a while 😂😂😂😂 R.I.P Betty, you were a real entertainer.
She will always be welcome to "our" cook outs ...even from the "Upper Room".
since the existence of China, the US could never tame asians so they did and they are doing all kind of pure evil racist things towards asians, on TV, in reality,
but for black people, well it's fine, "we can make some jokes about ourselves just to make them happy, even though in reality we are.... well, you know what they did to George Floyd
Im sorry but I need to see your papers or greencard.
@@inoayh go away.
Betty White is beyond compare. One of a kind who cannot ever be replaced.
I never wanted to hear the one and only, Betty White, was gone. She definitely touched many hearts, including mine. She is an absolute lady, legend, icon and inspiration. No one will ever compare. This is a hard time, but I pray she’s with the love of her life and surrounded by the animals she loved so very much. Miss Betty, you’re always going to be my #1!
You said it all, beautifully! All I can add is “Amen”! 💗🙏🏻
At least we can say that the Golden Girls are finally back together again.
99 years of giving joy and laughter to people... Terrific.
The world is a lot less funny today. We will miss you, Betty. You were a funny class act!
@Corwin719 she was.
She was a true golden girl RIP BETTY 🕊️🙏
So you're saying that the world finally caught down to the new SNL?
@@asc_missions3080 what are you asking?
@@Jo-fy2fc As you said, the world is less funny these days. I'm suggesting that SNL lead the way to that sad state of affairs. And the world caught up(down) with them.
My granddaughter watched this show everyday w me and it helped greatly w her attitude. Thanks Ms.White for teaching my Golden Girl the sweeter, gentler side of life.
"And these are people we're talking about, and not cats, right?"
"There's really no way of knowing."
With the arrival of the Cats 2019 trailer, this really raises a reasonable doubt.
I lost it at this point!
IKR?? It ended 10 minutes ago and I'm still chuckling! lol
Betty white is priceless. Nobody ever wrote a joke she couldn't make work.
"superior to Asian".... one of the few people who could actually pull that off and get away with it, and damnit she did!

If anyone else did this I would be offended but Betty White made me laugh loud
And I appreciate that they reversed that stereotype, for once! 😅🤓 Tickled TF out of me.

How could anyone not love this sweet ,sweet lady? My mom adored her and she passed some time ago but Memories never die, they remain in our hearts. Rest in sweet peace mom and Betty White.
My Mom too, Pat 😢--we could watch the “Golden Girls” over and over again and never got tired. ❤️
Betty White is so RIDICULOUSLY talented. I just love her! In this skit she very skillfully walks the line between crazy lady and full on screwing with the census people. You just don't know which you are dealing with. Flawless.
She was one of a kind,RIP Betty we certainly miss you ! Thank you for the laughter
It is Betty White, how can there be any dislikes? Love her.
I think people didn’t like the video, not her
Probably because she did that satire of Sarah Palin.
Olivia Davis news flash: people are moronic assclowns. Any other questions I can answer for you?
Ginger Bread I think that this skit was well written and funny. A rare event over the last 20 years on SNL. I think people are giving a 👎 to SNL in general. Which is wrong, but refer to my previous post

Betty White is a national treasure. Her abilities have never worsened with age.
What a national treasure we lost when we lost Betty White .
Btw Tina Fey is also a comedic treasure... it's a shame she's not currently on TV
I can't believe the day has come. She will be missed. What a life she had and right before turning 100!
I never thought it would come either. It is so sad 😭

As a little autistic girl who was always called stupid and told to shut up, Betty showed me through Rose Nylund that you can still be compassionate and kind to others and not to let their words hurt you if they don't understand you.
The Golden Girls taught me many things (including mild swear words lol).
