There’s also Utility Jude, a channel that does Britain WWII Homefront vids. She uses the actual items and plays as if each vid is the real thing. Very well done.
@@bradlafferty I love Utility Jude's videos! Another great resource is/are the episodes (still available free on UA-cam) of the older BBC show "The Wartime Kitchen and Garden" with Harry Dodson, Ruth Mott, etc.
There's a series of videos called The Farmvids, that shows what it was like to farm in Britain during the war. Very enlightening about government control during the war.
Love those. "Wartime Farm", "tales from the Green Valley", "Victorian Farm", "Edwardian Farm", "Tudor Monastery." Also "1940’s House." "Wartime kitchen" is also a good old series. Clara's Great Depression cooking channel (can't remember exactly) recipes and stories from a lady that was in high school during that time. She was so cute, made me sad when she died. All these shows are great for learning old time skills that may be VERY necessary in WW3! Stock up, hoard knowledge and make yourself , more resilient and PRAY we make it through this Libtrd garbage! Great vid MR!
@@NothingToNoOneInParticularI also enjoy most of those a couple I didn't know about will need to have a look. I would say share and gather knowledge - not hoard knowledge.
People are going to die. In large numbers. We need more Prepper content on how to deal with that. Most importantly, we need to prepare for eternity. Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He helps and provides for His children here and now, too. Thanks.
That's one rabbit hole I haven't explored...thinking about the internment (FEMA) camps was scary enough! I just can't imagine the snowflakes being forced to work 😏 Thanks MR 👍👍
MR, I recall WWI, WWII & Great Depression stories that my Sainted Grandmother, Great Grandfather (Both War Refugees eventually settling here in the USA.) & my Parents all hustling to make it. Backyard gardens, raising rabbits and chickens behind the carriage house garage where Great Grandfather plied his repair shop, Apple trees, canning, brewing beer, maybe a home still for family, subsistence fishing and small subsistence farm by Moullie Marsh, trapping, hunting whatever it took. From the 👍. Best
Ration cards were a serious thing, especially in England. You might have the ticket, but the store had no food. You needed to be registered with a local shop, but you may have gone home empty if they had nothing.
So true MR! We can learn so much to improve our preps by studying past events. Plus, we can hopefully avoid making the same mistakes our predecessors made . . . As Churchill said in 1948, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”
3:40 I think that such actions won't necessarily come from the top down, but may be "suggested" by fed or state gub. But, everyone's mileage may vary. I think it would be neighbors deciding to seize and redistribute things is more likely. But, I would not rule out local LE deciding to engage in such activities in some places, my county included.
As a regular dude I will tell you that your only chance is noncompliance with whatever they conjure up for directions. And one upon another we can stand together against this tyranny. So many cannot see the storm coming, but we have to warn them and remind them that hard times are coming.
Thank you MR! I recently just started growing some fruits and vegetables and for someone that has never done it is going to have a hard time on first harvest because of all the bugs you have to watch out for that eat your crops. There's a bug for everything that grows lol sucks
Very interesting listen thank you, as always good content. Interesting point we have vitamin supplements nowadays a point I hadn’t even thought about it. I listened to relatives relaying their diet in the 2 wars very sparse just enough to survive and all did a full day on it at home or work an didn’t improve to quickly either. Sadly when it does go Pete tong the population will be reduced. Thank you sir for your chats and have a great safe Sunday.
@@tammybrennan2040 I guess toilet paper was not a thing in 1940 but coffee ran out almost immediately. I recommend storing large containers of cheap coffee like nabob. You can and would use a knife to break it into bits to use after a few years! In occupied Germany in 1945 antibiotic treatment for STD was two containers of coffee. Almost no one could afford it and the millions (yes millions) who were given STD by the Allies (yes all the allies did this) had long term health issues from it. A couple of packs of coffee could mean health or illness. If things get very bad.
Think about when starving people with empty bellies, everyone losing weight, and then they smell it. Food is being cooked! All they have to do is follow the aroma of the cooked food, and they do. They come by your house, the aroma is abundant in the air. They look you and your family over. Rosy cheeks, looking good, fit, no weight loss anywhere in your family. Maybe you even have clean clothes! The entire neighborhood now knows you have supplies! Food, soap, and you've been holding out on them. People do crazy, unspeakable things when faced with starvation. They will try to take it, that is a fact, and they won't be gentile about it.
After about a month you should be safe to cook your regular food? What are your thoughts? But you also have to have a different mindset if this actually goes down. Which it will at some point in my estimation, but I can't say for sure. I think that it's an important topic to discuss though. We better know our friends now vs later.
I have thought about ration cards etc, but not production. I just assumed they would seize the resources and the corporations would keep doing the bidding of the government.
It would be a disservice not to share this video with other like-minded family and friends, or those that might be open to this video. This video is revelatory on a higher plane than on the typical preparedness sites. Wow!
Ive followed your "scenarios" and really enjoy them. I was thinking the other day about how things would function and what daily life would be like with "blue helmets" operating in the daily government. A possible scenario idea.
The us government saved America in the 1930s by nationalizing most everything including entertainment. Canada was saved by massive overblown public building programs. The government is not your enemy in war time or peace time. Those claiming otherwise hate their own country and its citizens. I’m actually trying to do a series on ww2 lessons for ww3. It’s not business as normal and famine is a certainty. Namaste
I’m working on video now I believe you will find interesting. It’s is on that topic you mentioned ( sort of ) from my recollections of what the Old Timers told me. Take care my friend.
I have a friend who is from there. His name is Jose Martinez. His channel is called Facts Base Prepping. I don’t know how often he checks it anymore, but you could post a comment to one of his videos. If anyone knows the answer it’s him.
Me - "Where does food come from?"
Coworkers - "The store."
Being on a w*r footing would be quite a shock to the general population.
Many have never even thought of these things
I once knew a lady (in her 50s) who genuinely didn't know apples grow on trees. It's scary how disconnected and ignorant so many people are.
